"It's definitely mine [the first Thistle goal]. It's just a couple of yards out and I knocked it in. To get the perfect hat-trick is something special for me."
Post update
Partick Thistle manager Alan Archibald on Kris Doolan
"Tonight we made Hamilton defend and Dools took his chances."
#bbcscotfootball
ross gillespie: "If Aberdeen are in the title race, then so are Inverness and Dundee Utd who are 3 and 5 points behind Aberdeen. #bbcscotfootball"
Steve Grant: "At this point last season Celtic were 13 points ahead with two games in hand, so normal service resumed, I think not #bbcscotfootball"
TEXT 80295
Berty, Dalkeith: "Apart from Watson (12) and Erskine (17) Dundee United almost fielded a team wearing numbers 1 - 11. How old-fashioned."
Alan the jag: "Absolutely no doubt doolan got the first goal, was right in front of us."
Phil, Glasgow: "Partick Thistle have not had consecutive wins, losses or draws for 28 games."
Scott, Hurlford: "Since beating Dundee United in October, Killie have been in relegation form. But that's what happens when you don't have a single decent striker in your squad."
Anonymous: "Another defeat for Kilmarnock and another game without a goal in open play. Our Manager's tenure is surely coming to an end?"
Post update
Celtic manager Ronny Deila
"We controlled the game for 90 minutes. The boys were professional. Now we are top, everything is in our hands. We just have to keep performing well and winning."
Post update
It ended all square in Paisley as St Mirren and Dundee United drew.
Post update
Greg Stewart's 13th goal of the season, a penalty, proved enough for Dundee to beat Kilmarnock.
Post update
Kris Doolan scored the first Scottish Premiership hat-trick of the season and, if he is indeed credited with the opening goal, it will be a four-goal haul from Partick Thistle's 5-0 defeat of Hamilton Academical.
Post update
Mikael Lustig scored twice, including this diving header, in Celtic's 4-0 win over Motherwell.
MOVERS AND SHAKERS
With Celtic going top of the Scottish Premiership, Aberdeen slip to second but Inverness Caledonian Thistle stay third by virtue of Dundee United's inability to beat St Mirren. The Tangerines remain fourth.
Hamilton are still fifth, despite their hefty defeat by Partick Thistle. St Johnstone, who lost to Inverness on Tuesday, are sixth.
Dundee move up to seventh and are now just three points off the top six with Kilmarnock, the team the Dark Blues beat tonight, slipping to eighth.
Ninth-place Partick Thistle stretch their advantage over Motherwell to seven points and the Steelmen are now only two points above St Mirren, who are four points ahead of bottom side Ross County. However County have two games in hand over the Buddies.

FULL-TIME
Partick Thistle 5-0 Hamilton Academical
A memorable night for Partick Thistle and Kris Doolan. The striker got at least three and probably the first, meaning a four-goal haul. Nathan Eccleston was also on target. A night to forget for Hamilton.

Mikael Lustig gets his head to a Leigh Griffiths cross, diving in to net his second of the night.

Marc McAusland heads over the Dundee United crossbar. Is there to be a winner in Paisley?
Post update
Dundee 1-0 Kilmarnock
Jim McAlister should have made it 2-0 but after being picked out in plenty of space in the box, he fluffs his lines and scoops the ball up in the air.

Ouch!
Celtic 2-0 Motherwell
Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen is withdrawn after a clash of heads with Mark O'Brien. Stefan Scepovic comes on for the hosts.
Post update
St Mirren 1-1 Dundee United
If Dundee United are to find a way of winning this match then it would come as no surprise if Gary Mackay-Steven was the man to make the difference. He's looked threatening every time he's picked up the ball, with the St Mirren defenders not quite sure how to combat the winger.
Post update
Partick Thistle 4-0 Hamilton Academical
The prolific Kris Doolan volleys into the hands of Hamilton goalkeeper Michael McGovern.
Post update
Celtic are well on their way to victory against Motherwell and an on course to return to the top of the Premiership.
Leigh Griffiths scored their second against the Steelmen.
HITS THE WOODWORK
Celtic 2-0 Motherwell
Colin Moffat
BBC Scotland at Celtic Park
"The ball breaks kindly for Leigh Griffiths in the penalty area and the Celtic striker delays when a shot looks on only to find Emilio Izaguirre right in front of goal with a deft square pass. However, the left-back somehow hammers a shot against the crossbar from six yards."
GREAT SAVE!
Celtic 2-0 Motherwell
Colin Moffat
BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

St Mirren 1-1 Dundee United
Dundee United full-back Conor Townsend has an attempt on goal after being released down the left by Stuart Armstrong, but his shot flies across the face of Marc Ridgers' goal.
HITS THE WOODWORK
Celtic 2-0 Motherwell
Colin Moffat
BBC Scotland at Celtic Park
"So close to a third goal for Celtic as the hosts break at pace and Emilio Izaguirre's curling delivery is met by Stefan Johansen only for the Norwegian's stooping header to strike the post and keeper Dan Twardzik is first to the loose ball."
Post update
Partick Thistle 4-0 Hamilton Academical
Richard Wilson
BBC Scotland at Firhill
"Kris Doolan conjures up a moment of brilliance at Firhill. Ably abetted by Steven Lawless, who leapt up in the air to flick the ball with his heel into the striker's path, Doolan controls and with his back to goal, cutely back heels the ball into the net. Moments later, he scores the fourth with a header. Hamilton are down and out in this game."
Post update
Kris Doolan has been the scourge of Hamilton tonight.
GOAL
Partick Thistle 4-0 Hamilton Academical (Doolan)
No matter what, Kris Doolan has a hat-trick! This time the Thistle forward rises highest to get his head to a cross from the right and nods the ball confidently past Michael McGovern.
GOAL
Partick Thistle 3-0 Hamilton Academical (Doolan)
What a night Kris Doolan is having. The striker has the ball in space inside the box but with his back to goal. However, the Hamilton defence are undone but Doolan's backheel into the net. If the Thistle forward is indeed credited with the first goal, that's a hat-trick.
Post update
St Mirren 1-1 Dundee United
The first half at St Mirren Park was end-to-end stuff but it's been far more sedate at the start of the second period. The Buddies perhaps just shading things at the moment but they have not really tested Radoslaw Cierzniak in the Dundee United goal since the break.

Post update
Colin Moffat
BBC Scotland at Celtic Park
"With Motherwell simply not engaging as an attacking force, Celtic are strolling back to the top of the Premiership. The hosts have been a little casual, attempting to walk the ball through the pack of defenders around the penalty box but have twice found the net with simple, close range headers visitors."
Post update
St Mirren and Dundee United are locked at 1-1 at the break.
Both sides are eager for a win that could move them up the table.
Post update
There was debate about who scored Partick Thistle's first against Hamilton Academical.
Kris Doolan (number 9) was credited with the goal after helping Ryan Stevenson's lob into the net and Doolan scored Thistle's second with a low shot.

Celtic comfortably ahead at the break. Virgil van Dijk and Leigh Griffiths converted Anthony Stokes crosses to give the hosts their lead.
HALF-TIME
Partick Thistle 2-0 Hamilton Academical (Doolan)
Richard Wilson
BBC Scotland at Firhill
"A deserved lead for Thistle at Firhill. They have been comfortable in possession and despite the occasional break upfield by Hamilton, it's the home side who have looked more composed. Doolan and Stevenson will argue over the first goal, but the former struck the second with aplomb."
Post update
Celtic 2-0 Motherwell
Colin
"Motherwell's resistance is broken for a second time and again it's far too easy as Leigh Griffiths darts in behind the defence to nod in another good delivery from Anthony Stokes."

Level at the break in Paisley. St Mirren briefly led through Kenny McLean before Stuart Armstrong equalised.

Dundee are a whisker away from a second. Iain Davidson cuts in from the left and curls in a low right-foot effort but it doesn't bend quite enough and goes narrowly wide.
GOAL
St Mirren 1-0 Dundee United (McLean)
Now, all four of tonight's have a goal and this one from Kenny McLean was a beauty. The midfielder flicks the ball over Conor Townsend and then directs it past the onrushing Radoslaw Cierzniak into the net. Great skill.
Post update
Celtic 1-0 Motherwell

"Stephen Pearson gallops down the right flank in a rare Motherwell attack but the midfielder has no support whatsoever. He goes it alone with an ambitious chip aimed at the far post and is not far away."
Post update
Greg Stewart struck his penalty confidently from 12 yards to give Dundee the lead against Kilmarnock.
Post update
This was the moment Virgil van Dijk headed Celtic ahead.

Post update
Celtic 1-0 Motherwell

GOAL
Partick Thistle 1-0 Hamilton Academical (Doolan)
Ryan Stevenson's lob is carried into the net by Kris Doolan.
Post update
Celtic 0-0 Motherwell
Colin Moffat
BBC Scotland at Celtic Park
"The Celtic pressure is building as Dan Twardzik makes a diving punch to prevent Leigh Griffiths connecting with a dinked cross from Kris Commons. With the visitors packing men behind the ball, Kris Commons then shoots high over the crossbar from 18 yards."
Post update
Partick Thistle 0-0 Hamilton Academical
Richard Wilson
BBC Scotland at Firhill
"Both sides at Firhill are playing neat, attractive football, but it's the visitors Hamilton who have been the more incisive. There have been long-range efforts from Ali Crawford and Mickael Antoine-Curier, while Mikey Devlin just saw a header plucked out of the air by Partick Thistle goalkeeper Paul Gallacher."

Yoann Arquin attempts to score his first goal for St Mirren but his effort is cleared off the line.
CLOSE!

Post update
Colin Moffat
BBC Scotland at Celtic Park
The last two seasons have finished with Celtic miles ahead and Motherwell the best of the rest. It's a different story right now, with the champions bidding to overhaul leaders Aberdeen and the Lanarkshire team mired in a scrap to avoid relegation.
Celtic have won 10 of their last 12 Premiership matches, with Dundee United the only side to get the better of them during that run, while Motherwell have lost their last three matches, conceding 11 goals.
However, Ronny Deila's side had to work hard for a 1-0 win at Fir Park and the Steelmen picked up a point at Celtic Park in September.
GREAT SAVE!
St Mirren 0-0 Dundee United
Keith Watson's pass back is way too short which allows Kenny McLean to nip in, but Radoslaw Cierzniak is out quickly to block his effort.
Post update
A minute's applause takes place at Celtic Park in memory of Celtic fan Martin Kane, who passed away earlier this month in Australia after battling a rare neurological condition.
