    See you then.

  2. Manager reaction

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

Derby boss Steve McClaren: "Everyone saw the incident, (Danny Batth on Darren Bent) but it is gone. We were playing ever so well but that means nothing at this stage of the season, it is about getting results.

"The decisions today, I have to be careful what I say.

"We have peppered their goal, we have hit the woodwork but not defended well at our end. I am just sorry for the players who lost the game."

  3. GOAL FOR VALENCIA

    Spanish La Liga

    Valencia

Third-placed Valencia are four points clear of Atletico Madrid in the La Liga table after a 4-0 win at Elche. Rumoured Manchester United target Nicolas Otamendi scored their fourth in the final minute.

  4. Manager reaction

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

Wolves manager Kenny Jackett tells Sky Sports: "We were good in possession and we did well to overcome them tonight. We did not worry about Derby too much ahead of the match.

"The board have been very supportive of myself, especially in signing Benik Afobe, as long as it is young players who can do well for us.

"Nouha Dicko did have a look at me when i took him off but I understand that. We were being overrun which is why I brought David Edwards on."

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

"We are in a very good way and we are going to keep working hard to reach the Premier League."

  7. FULL-TIME

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

And there goes the final whistle. Wolves come out victors and move up to seventh in the table.

  8. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

Bakary Sako, past one, two, three and more Derby defenders before blazing a shot high over the bar. That would have been the cherry on the icing.

  9. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

Rajiv van La Parre with a superb run, taking the ball from inside his half to gain a free-kick deep inside the Derby half. Kenny Jackett leads the applause, he appreciated that effort from the Dutchman. One minute left...

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

Four minutes more agony for Derby to endure...

  12. SUBSTITUTION

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

  13. CLOSE!

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

It's Darren Bent!! But no! The on-loan Aston Villa man pokes a shot goalwards but it is superbly blocked by Richard Stearman. It's not going to happen for Derby tonight.

  14. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

Four minutes for Wolves to hold on, four minutes for Derby to rescue an effort to gain automatic promotion spot. Remember, they lost in the play-off final to QPR last season. They won't want to go into the play-offs again.

...a free-kick which is wasted by Craig Bryson. High over Tomasz Kuszczak's crossbar. Steve McClaren can't bear to look. That was rather bad.

  17. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

The worrying thing for Derby fans is that there does not seem to be a Plan B. They continue to pass the ball around, maybe it needs to be pumped longer to put the Wolves defence under more pressure? They have a free-kick deep inside the Wolves half...

  18. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

Another long-range effort from Jesse Lingard, another easy save for Tomasz Kuszczak. He will eat those up all night long, much like he will his birthday cake later tonight.

  20. European update

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a hat-trick for Paris St-Germain as they beat Lorient 3-1 to return to the top of Ligue 1. His third came in injury time after being allowed time and space in the box after two penalties.

In the Bundesliga, Hertha Berlin beat 10-man Hamburg 1-0 thanks to Sebastian Langkamp's 84th-minute goal.

Valencia are easing to victory at Elche in La Liga, leading 3-0 with about 10 minutes left.

  21. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

Derby have been left to striking from distance and that is comfortable for Tomasz Kuszczak. He gathers a Simon Dawkins strike and a few more seconds tick away for the home side.

  22. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

BBC Sport's Ged Scott at Molineux

"Having wasted as many chances as they did before the break, Derby have truly been masters of their own downfall in the way they conceded two second-half goals.

"Expect Steve McClaren's post-match comments to concentrate on the quality, or lack of it, of his side's defending."

  23. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

Free-kick swung in by Craig Bryson, and again, Tomasz Kuszczak punches the ball away. He has done that well in this game, getting distance on the bal to relieve the pressure.

Steve McClaren is like a yo-yo now down on the touchline for the rest of the match. What can his side salvage from this game? This will make is six without a win.

  26. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

A low drive from Jesse Lingard, kept out again - unconvincingly - by the birthday boy Tomasz Kuszczak. When your luck is in, it is well and truly in. Derby continue to plough forward though...

  27. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

Wolves fans signing "There's only one Kenny Jackett". The boss acknowledges the support with an applause back to them. Wolves came up from League One last season. Can they gatecrash the promotion party and get back into the Premier League?

  28. GOAL TO PSG

    French Ligue 1

It's Zlatan Ibrahimovic 2-1 Lorient in Ligue 1 as Paris St-Germain look set to go top. The Swedish striker scores his second penalty, this time after a Lamine Kone tackle on Javier Pastore.

Hamburg have to play the last 10 minutes of their Bundesliga game against relegation rivals Hertha Berlin with 10 men after Cleber was sent off.

  29. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Derby

Twenty minutes to go, Derby's automatic promotion hopes are slipping away, much like the ball did from Lee Grant's hands moments ago..

  30. GOAL

Wolves 2-0 Derby - Lee Grant og

Absolute howler from Lee Grant! Shocking moment for the Derby goalkeeper. Defender Richard Keogh's attempted clearance loops high into the Wolverhampton sky, Grant's eyes are on the ball. It drops back down to Earth, and in trying to punch it away, he only manages to push the ball into his own net. Horrific stuff!

  31. SUBSTITUTION

    Wolves 1-0 Derby

Second change for Wolves. James Henry, who had a decent game, comes off for Dutchman Rajiv van La Parre. His first involvement is to earn a free-kick in the Derby half.

  32. Post update

    Wolves 1-0 Derby

Pass, pass, pass from Derby. They are being patient in and around the Wolves penalty area, but the home side's backline is holding firm so far.

  33. SUBSTITUTION

    Wolves 1-0 Derby

First change of the game and it is for Wolves. Dave Edwards comes on for goalscorer Nouha Dicko. He doesn't look to be injured. Seems like a tactical one.

  34. Post update

    Wolves 1-0 Derby

This match is being played at a frantic pace, like a basketball game. One end to the other in a split second. Great entertainment. Derby need a goal though...

  35. GOAL FOR LORIENT

    French Ligue 1

    Jordan Ayew

Paris St-Germain have been utterly dominant against Lorient, pulling off plenty of tricks but forgot to score a second goal... and now Lorient are level. Jordan Ayew fired home a crisp effort from 20 yards from Benjamin Jeannot's layoff.

Moments later Ayew almost scores a second but Marco Verratti heads off the line.

About 20 minutes left or else PSG will remain second.

Valencia now lead Elche 2-0, with Paco Alcacer doubling their lead. Hamburg v Hertha Berlin is still goalless.

  36. Post update

    Wolves 1-0 Derby

Another chance for Derby, they have responded superbly to going a goal down. Darren Bent pokes at a low ball into the box but it is blocked by former Leicester man Richard Stearman. I can't catch my breath here.

  37. HITS THE WOODWORK

    Wolves 1-0 Derby

Unbelievable stuff! A long punt upfield from Wolves sees Benik Afobe through on the Derby goal. His pace sees him go clear and smacks a shot which clips the bar and goes over. That should have been the second for Wolves. What a match!

  38. Post update

    Wolves 1-0 Derby

Desperate defending from Wolves, who are stretching and prodding at every ball into the box. The Molineux crowd have gone quiet...

  39. HITS THE WOODWORK

    Wolves 1-0 Derby

All Derby now, and they are so, so close to the leveller! Craig Bryson drives forward and a daisycutter strikes the post. They've had more efforts on goal, but still have not found a way through.

  40. Post update

    Wolves 1-0 Derby

Jesse Lingard hits one from the edge of the area, it is straight at Tomasz Kuszczak who makes a bit of a hash of saving it, but the Wolves defenders are able to clear.

    Pressure from the visitors.

  41. Post update

    Wolves 1-0 Derby

Derby will have to push forward now in order to get back into the game. They play some neat passes on the edge of the Wolves area, keeping possession, but it comes to nothing.

Manager Steve McClaren - back in the stand - is not a happy man in his seat.

  42. GOAL

Wolves 1-0 Derby - Nouha Dicko

Breakthrough! Derby man Craig Forsyth gives the ball away in a dangerous area to Kevin McDonald, who feeds the ball into Nouha Dicko. He still has work to do with the attention of two Derby defenders, but the low, left-footed strike evades Lee Grant for the game's opening goal.

Now let's see what Derby are made of.

  43. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

No changes from either side. Derby have started brighter as they look to climb the Championship table. A point tonight will be enough to take them into fourth place.

  44. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

The players are back on the pitch. Referee Keith Stroud gives his whistle a toot. Derby get the game back under way.

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Who will be the happier manager at half-time? I would say it is Wolves boss Kenny Jackett, whose side were lucky not to be a goal down from Tom Ince's effort and even luckier not to be a man down after skipper Danny Batth brought down Darren Bent.

Steve McClaren was livid on the touchline and will need to get his message across calmly to his players before the second half.

    GOAL FOR VALENCIA

    Spanish La Liga

    Valencia

Andre Gomes gives Valencia the lead against Elche on the stroke of half-time. They could move four points clear of fourth-placed Atletico Madrid.

Second halves are under way at PSG, who lead Lorient 1-0, and Hamburg, who are goalless with Hertha Berlin.

  49. HALF-TIME

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

BBC Sport's Ged Scott at Molineux

"Promising start by Wolves, but they appeared to run out of ideas the longer the first half went on and, on balance, the Rams have provided the greater first-half goal threat.

"Tomasz Kuszczak has had to make a string of saves, while the bar came to his rescue to keep out Tom Ince's chip."

  50. HALF-TIME

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Both teams happy to stand off each other with one minute to go to half-time. It has been a tremendous Championship clash so far.

  53. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Craig Bryson's free-kick is heading towards the bottom corner, but Wolves keeper Tomasz Kuszczak does well to keep it out. The home side get off with one there. Kuszczak has been busy.

Steve McClaren is very animated on the touchline and is being told to calm down by the ref. Exciting stuff!

  54. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Steve McClaren has made his way down to the touchline after that incident.

Craig Bryson standing over the free-kick...

  55. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Controversy! Darren Bent is clean through on goal and is tugged back by Wolves skipper Danny Batth. It is a clear goalscoring opportunity but nothing doing from the referee. Surely a card should have been given?

Anyway, free-kick on the edge of the box...

  57. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Pressure from Derby now. Tomasz Kuszczak is forced into another save, diving left to push away another Tom Ince drive. The Rams are ramping it up as we head towards half-time.

  58. European update

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Paris St-Germain are going top of the French table as it stands, they lead Lorient 1-0 at half-time.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic won a penalty, scored it, got injured and played on. He and Ezequiel Lavezzi have had chances to double their lead as they have dominated play.

Over in Germany, Hamburg and Hertha Berlin are goalless at the break in their relegation clash.

Valencia are also 0-0 at Elche in La Liga - there's just over 30 minutes gone there.

  59. CLOSE!

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Good feet from Jesse Lingard before letting fly from distance. It is heading towards goal but Wolves goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak pushes it over the bar. The Polish stopper was always going to save that one.

  60. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

James Henry feeds Wolves striker Nouha Dicko on the edge of the area and despite the attention of four Derby defenders, Dicko turns gets a rasping shot away which flashes just wide. It remains goalless. Wolves on top though.

  61. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Corner for Derby after Will Hughes' shot is deflected away. Wolves goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak elects to punch it away. Neither goalkeeper prepared to take a chance by catching the ball. A safe option, as long as you get good distance on it.

Superb stuff at Molineux so far, an enthralling encounter. How have we not had a goal though? It's coming, I assure you, it is coming!

  64. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

    Lee Grant

Chance at the other end! England's top scorer Benik Afobe forces Lee Grant into a save, before Wolves then get a dangerous free-kick on the edge of the area...

...which is punched away by Grant.

  65. HITS THE WOODWORK

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Oooh! Closest we have come to a goal so far, Tom Ince an inch away from giving Derby the lead. He is picked out at the edge of the penalty area by Craig Forsyth, takes a touch before clipping a left-footed effort towards goal.

It is beyond the reach of Tomasz Kuszczak but comes back off the bar. So close!

  66. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

As mentioned earlier, Derby forward Johnny Russell was wearing a mask to protect a broken nose. That has come off now. He is forced off the ball as he enters the Wolves penalty area.

  67. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Derby's Tom Ince being booed by the Wolves fans when on the ball. His father Paul used to play for Wolves in the mid-2000s, towards the end of his distinguished career. The Rams trying to find a way through, but no luck thus far.

  68. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

    Will Hughes and Bakary Sako

Once again it is Bakary Sako whose footwork forces a corner. He swings the ball in but James Henry's header is off target. Excellent encounter so far. A goal is coming, I can feel it.

  71. CLOSE!

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Derby striker Darren Bent is inches away from getting the opening goal. Craig Forsyth finds space on the left side of the penalty area, before putting in a tantalising low cross into the box, but Bent cannot stretch far enough to get his toe onto the end of the ball.

  72. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

BBC Sport's Ged Scott at Molineux

    Wolves flag

"Real big match atmosphere at a near capacity Molineux.

"The South Bank is already in full voice for the visit of fifth-placed Derby on an evening when Wolves, in eighth, are hoping to really send out a message to the rest of their Championship play-off rivals.

"But the travelling Rams fans have sold their full allocation of away tickets in the lower tier of the Steve Bull Stand."

  73. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Bakary Sako is causing concern to Derby defenders playing from the left-hand side. The gangly young man attempt to dodge in and out of the Rams defenders, but can't keep control of the ball as he gets inside the box. Wolves could find inroads from that side of the pitch.

  74. Post update

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Real end-to-end stuff at Molineux in the opening 10 minutes. At the other end, on-loan Manchester United man Jesse Lingard is brought down after showing good pace. Former United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak gets good distance with a punch from the free-kick.

  75. CLOSE!

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Worrying defending there if you are a Wolves supporter.

  81. KICK-OFF

    Wolves 0-0 Derby

Derby boss Steve McClaren takes his seat in the stand. Wolves kick off, playing from right to left.

    We are under way.

  82. Managers views

Wolves manager Kenny Jackett says it is "a massive game" and he sees it as "an opportunity against a good team".

Steve McClaren wants to "play the Derby way" which is apparently "good attacking football".

The players are have lined up and shook hands. We are just minutes away from kick-off. Molineux is rocking!

  83. Bent is back

    Wolves v Derby (19:45)

    Darren Bent

The return of striker Darren Bent will provide a boost for the Derby attack. The on-loan Aston Villa man has scored seven goals in 10 games for the Rams, but has missed the last four games through injury.

Steve McClaren will be hoping his comeback will be the catalyst to get their season back on track.

  84. GOAL FOR PSG

    French Ligue 1

Paris St-Germain lead Lorient within three minutes. Keeper Benjamin Lecomte wiped out Zlatan Ibrahimovic with a reckless tackle. The 23-year-old was booked and the Swede stepped up to convert the kick.

Ibrahimovic appeared to be in pain on the sidelines moments after the goal with coach Laurent Blanc looking concerned.

  85. European update

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic

In France, Paris St-Germain could go top of Ligue 1 if they beat Lorient tonight (19:30 GMT).

Zlatan Ibrahimovic starts - five days after a foul-mouthed rant where he claimed France "does not deserve" PSG after they lost to Bordeaux.

In Spain, Valencia look to increase their hold on third place above Atletico Madrid when they visit Elche (19:45 GMT).

And in Germany, Hamburg and Hertha Berlin - who are in the two places above the relegation play-off spot spot - meet at the Imtech Arena (19:30 GMT).

  86. McClaren on the march

    Wolves v Derby (19:45)

    Derby manager Steve McClaren

Despite Derby's recent stutters, former England manager Steve McClaren has worked wonders with the Rams and restored his once ridiculed reputation.

His side are right in the thick of a fight for promotion back to the Premier League.

"We need to dig in and get something from this game," said McClaren in the lead-up to the match.

"We have got to pick ourselves up and show real character and endeavour to make sure that we give the same performance of character as we have done."

  87. The country's leading goalscorer

    Wolves v Derby (19:45)

    Benik Afobe

This week saw Spurs striker Harry Kane called up to the England national team for the first time, after his goalscoring exploits for his club.

But do his 26 goals this season mean he is the top scorer in the land?

No, is the answer. Meet Wolves frontman Benik Afobe who has netted 27 this term; eight for his current side and 19 while on loan at MK Dons.

"He has already made a good impact here," said manager Kenny Jackett. "He has given us good options going forward and brings other people into play."

  89. The form guide

    Wolves v Derby (19:45)

The two sides met in November and it was a somewhat one-sided encounter as Derby ran out 5-0 winners.

It moved the Rams top of the Championship table, but recent form has seen them slip to fifth as they look to end a run of five winless games.

Wolves have been steady this term, and have lost just once in their last seven league games.

A victory tonight will see them move on the verge of a play-off spot.
