Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho on Sky Sports: "I cannot say it's a big surprise for me. I know the nature of the game, I know what normally happens when a team is champions with games in hand.
"It's difficult to keep the motivation high. We have lots of injuries, the intensity is not so high, and when you lose that salt and pepper of competition, it's difficult to compete. I don't think 3-0 reflects the result, but maybe we started the game already losing.
"But I cannot blame the players without blaming myself because it was my mentality also. If we have to blame somebody we have to blame Man City, Manchester United, Arsenal, because they let us win so easily.
"I think one of the top referees would have resolved the situation with words, but Michael chose to give a red card, which I disagree with completely."

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, speaking to the BBC: "I can't take it from the context, and the context is we are champions, and the players lose concentration, they lose intensity, they lose motivation.
"But I also lost what you need to work at a high level in football matches. Am I guilty? Yes, but I think the top contenders for the title are also guilty, because they didn't give us a big fight. You can't expect us to get on the bus crying because we lost 3-0, we are champions.
"What Fabregas did didn't hurt anyone, he shouldn't do it but I don't think that the red card was fair. It was a good experience for Ruben [Loftus-Cheek], because he played more than an hour."

West Brom midfielder Darren Fletcher on Sky Sports: "It was a great performance. Even before the red card we were frustrating Chelsea. Saido scored a fantastic goal.
"I came here to play football. I am enjoying my football, the manager is fantastic and I am really enjoying being at the club.
"We expected Chelsea to play the young players but they put their full strength team out. Them losing their cool plays into our hands and helps us.

Manager reaction

West Brom boss Tony Pulis on Sky Sports: "Our last five games looked so difficult and we were so on edge after defeats to QPR and Leicester but the lads have dug in and been wonderful.
"We made it difficult for Chelsea and looked dangerous when we broke. Jose Mourinho asked me where I was going on holiday at the end.
"I have managed against him twice and managed to beat him twice,. He has been very gracious in defeat. They have been worthy champions though, a fantastic football club and for people to criticise them is unbelievable. They have been the best team by a country mile this season."

West Brom boss Tony Pulis: "The players have worked so, so hard trying to form a stronger bond on and off the pitch. Fortunately it has worked out well for us and West Brom will have Premier League football next season, which is so important to us."
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho: "Diego Costa wants to play and I want players who take some responsibility. For me I would keep him working without playing until the end of the season. He almost begged me to play him."
Chelsea XI: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry (c), Filipe Luis; Loftus-Cheek, Matic; Remy, Fabregas, Hazard; Diego Costa. Subs: Blackman, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Ake, Mikel, Cuadrado, Brown.

Here are a few stats on tonight's match.
Tony Pulis has won only one of his 12 Premier League matches as a manager against Chelsea (D2, L9), when his Crystal Palace team won 1-0 at Selhurst Park in March 2014.
Chelsea need one more goal to set a new club Premier League record for most away goals in a season. Their current tally of 37 equals 2004-05.
West Brom have conceded a league-high 20 goals from set pieces this season (including penalties). However, only Arsenal (21) have scored more set-piece goals than the Baggies (20).

"Nauseating style of play"
A former Chelsea manager is also celebrating winning a title this season - although it seems he isn't universally popular.
Zenit St Petersburg coach Andre Villas-Boas employs a "nauseating" style of play that is "anti-football", claims one of the club's former players.
The ex-Chelsea and Tottenham boss, 37, has led Zenit to the Russian Premier League in his first full season there.
Yet Boris Chukhlov, who won the Soviet title with Zenit in 1984, also claims Villas-Boas is not good enough to manage a top European club. Chelsea fans might not disagree.

That is that from me for this evening. It appears Raheem Sterling will be the big subject of debate now...
Cheerio.
Manager reaction
FT: West Brom 3-0 Chelsea

Remi Akinyombo: Rodgers was being praised for the mid season break he gave Raheem earlier, will he be criticised now?
Sho: Don't want Sterling at Arsenal. I'd take Walcott over him any day. A better finisher with less ego.
Brent Marrow: If Sterling leaves I hope he goes abroad - I would not wish him upon the fans of any EPL team.
Vote results
FT: West Brom 3-0 Chelsea
So, according to you guys, Manchester United are the team most likely to challenge Chelsea next season - getting 29.9 per cent of the vote.
Manager reaction
FT: West Brom 3-0 Chelsea

West Brom boss Tony Pulis on BBC: "We still have one more game to go but we are delighted we finished 13th. To win at Manchester United, to beat Chelsea, to draw Liverpool. Those last five games, you were thinking where are the points coming from us.
"Chelsea helped us with Cesc Fabregas getting sent off. But they are the best team in the league by a country mile.
"I haven't seen the red card. Until I see it, I will let you know. I don't think Jose has seen it either."
Player reaction
West Brom 3-0 Chelsea
West Brom midfielder Darren Fletcher on Sky Sports: "It was a great performance. Even before the red card we were frustrating Chelsea. Saido scored a fantastic goal.
"I came here to play football. I am enjoying my football, the manager is fantastic and I am really enjoying being at the club.
"We expected Chelsea to play the young players but they put their full strength team out. Them losing their cool plays into our hands and helps us.
"When there is a group of players and the balls hits someone on the back of the head, it is out or order. I wasn't happy about it and I made my feelings known more than I should perhaps."
Manager reaction
West Brom 3-0 Chelsea
West Brom boss Tony Pulis on Sky Sports: "Our last five games looked so difficult and we were so on edge after defeats to QPR and Leicester but the lads have dug in and been wonderful.
"We made it difficult for Chelsea and looked dangerous when we broke. Jose Mourinho asked me where I was going on holiday at the end.
"I have managed against him twice and managed to beat him twice,. He has been very gracious in defeat. They have been worthy champions though, a fantastic football club and for people to criticise them is unbelievable. They have been the best team by a country mile this season."

Whether he meant it or not, he is off.
RED CARD FOR CHELSEA
West Brom 1-0 Chelsea - Cesc Fabregas
Patient stuff from Chelsea on the edge of the penalty area. Fabregas, Hazard and Ruben Loftus-Cheek passing the ball around until...
Handbags in the penalty area as play is abruptly halted by the shrill blow of the whistle. Diego Costa is booked for clashing with Gareth McAuley.
It is all kicking off as Cesc Fabregas sees red.

"West Brom are getting broken on far too readily from their own set plays. Tony Pulis won't like that."
CLOSE!
West Brom 1-0 Chelsea
Chelsea break with lightning pace. Cesc Fabregas plays Diego Costa down the left, he pulls the ball back from the bye-line and Eden Hazard's close-range effort is deflected over the bar.

West Brom 1-0 Chelsea
Chelsea are enjoying the better of the match now. They have had two thirds of the possession, more than twice as many passes, but are behind in the only column that matters. Goals for.
Some showboating from Craig Dawson for West Brom as he nutmegs Nemanja Matic then Filipe Luis, before having a shot blocked for a corner. The corner is cleared.

Ronaldo Burgundy: Get in! Fingers crossed that isn't a farewell goal from Berahino who is still very much a work in progress. Come on you Baggies.
Jas Grewal: Berahino would be a good buy for Liverpool, they need that sort of striker.

Saido Berahino is one of only six players to score 10 plus home goals in the Premier League this season.
It was his first goal for nine Premier League games though.

Richardinho: Berahino's goal similar to Sigurdsson's yesterday and provides a wake-up call for an uncharacteristically slow-starting Chelsea.

Bit harsh that Kolo. He has got 19 this season...

"I'm interested to see how Loftus-Cheek goes tonight. In possession, he's a wonderful technician, so gifted. But I think he was a little out of position for the goal, and if he's going to play for Mourinho, he's going to have to improve his positioning when not in possession."

Chelsea's Diego Costa is lying down on the ground in the penalty area not looking particularly happy with life. The Spain striker got the ball to feet just 10 yards from goal but, after being ushered away from goal, Chris Brunt clatters into a challenge. Fair tackle, wins the ball and the fans love it.

GOAL
West Brom 1-0 Chelsea - Saido Berahino
Stunning. Chris Brunt feeds the ball in to Joleon Lescott on the left, he passes sideways to Saido Berahino, who swivels before curling home his 19th goal of the season into the top corner from 20 yards. A brilliant strike.

Manager viewpoint
West Brom v Chelsea (20:00 BST)
West Brom boss Tony Pulis: "The players have worked so, so hard trying to form a stronger bond on and off the pitch. Fortunately it has worked out well for us and West Brom will have Premier League football next season, which is so important to us."
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho: "Diego Costa wants to play and I want players who take some responsibility. For me I would keep him working without playing until the end of the season. He almost begged me to play him."

A moody-looking Jose Mourinho is hanging around in the tunnel, leaning against the wall. Not exactly sure why. He looks as though he has lost something.
That explains it. Tony Pulis walks past and Mourinho gives him a big bear hug before they walk out together. Lovely.
Stat attack
West Brom v Chelsea (20:00 BST)
Here are a few stats on tonight's match.
Tony Pulis has won only one of his 12 Premier League matches as a manager against Chelsea (D2, L9), when his Crystal Palace team won 1-0 at Selhurst Park in March 2014.
Chelsea need one more goal to set a new club Premier League record for most away goals in a season. Their current tally of 37 equals 2004-05.
West Brom have conceded a league-high 20 goals from set pieces this season (including penalties). However, only Arsenal (21) have scored more set-piece goals than the Baggies (20).

Fingers crossed we have a match of flowing football to come. They may as well play with some freedom - they have nothing to play for.

Fair play or not?
West Brom v Chelsea (20:00 BST)
Europe's next generation of players probably won't be too chuffed to hear the latest from Michel Platini today.
Uefa's president said European football's governing body is preparing to relax the Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules it introduced in 2011 to stop clubs from overspending.
