So Liverpool go through and Celtic are out.
Spurs also qualified but spare a thought for them and their 2,500-mile flight home to play Chelsea on Sunday at 12:00 GMT.
So Liverpool go through and Celtic are out.
Spurs also qualified but spare a thought for them and their 2,500-mile flight home to play Chelsea on Sunday at 12:00 GMT.
Celtic manager Ronny Deila: "Some of the same things were happening. Again it was not good enough. But I see talent that will develop.
"This gives me a lot of energy to bounce back and I've done that many times in my career."
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on BT Sport: "It was an important night for the whole team or the club because we are in the next round. A few weeks ago we were with three points and now we have nine and we can go top of the table in the next round so it's a big chance for us.
"I don't know about [Daniel Sturridge's injury]. We have to wait for some things, it's a fight again, we have to be prepared and we will be prepared. The atmosphere tonight was great and we really enjoyed it. 2-1 is a good result [for the fans] to stay [until the end]."
Wow, Celtic's striker taking full responsibility for their Europa League exit. You don't see that level of honesty too often.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on BT Sport: "There is no bad news tonight because we knew the before the game Bordeaux are much better than their situation in the table. We tried to defend in the centre, the first half was better, when we had the ball we had more ideas, but we lost balls in difficult situations for us, so it was an open game for us.
"There were some strange decisions I would say, I hope strange is not too hard a word. Frustrated? I don't know. [Simon Mignolet] was 20 seconds with the ball? Oh OK. Usually you won't give this type of free-kick. Easy games every can win but this was not an easy game."
Anon: Benteke is NOT a Liverpool player. The Reds have always hunted in packs of two - eg St John/Hunt, Toshack/Keegan, Dalglish/Rush, Fowler/Owen, Suarez/Sturridge. No forward who has to wait for the ball will succeed. Still, I suppose he is prepared to play!!! falsefalsefalseA different anon: Can we please get rid of Deila? I have three season tickets and have had for decades and I arrived in a very wet Glasgow tonight and thought before the game this was not going to happen. I made a good choice of a nice dinner and drinks. Where I am now is I will not be renewing my season tickets after 35 years. The team, the formation, the lack of capability and possibility to change formation suck. Lowell is obviously a business man and not a football man. Time to get real.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is talking to BT Sport. He wasn't impressed by the free-kick given against Simon Mignolet - but then he seemed surprised when the interviewer told him the keeper had held it for 20 seconds.
Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet on his error for Bordeaux's goal: "What can you do? Unfortunately I waited a bit too long but the fortunate thing is we responded. We have qualified now and hopefully we can win group."
Christian Benteke on being brought down for the penalty: "I have to play the game, he grabbed me and I think it's a penalty. I try to do my job when the coach needs me and try to work hard for the team. I came here to fight for every game and take the opportunities the manager gives me."
Ajax dominated possession and had more shots - but Celtic actually had more efforts on target. But there's only one stat that counts
Michy Batshuayi (pictured) scored a late goal to give Marseille victory a 2-1 victory over Dutch side Groningen in Group F. The French side need a point against Slovan Liberec to secure their passage.
Midtjylland's fate hangs in the balance after they lost 1-0 to Group D bottom side Legia Warsaw. They need to defeat Club Brugge in the final match to guarantee their passage.
In the other match, Napoli secured their fifth win from five thanks to Vlad Chiricheş's first-half effort against Club Brugge.
Fenerbahce's 2-0 win in Molde mean they will need to beat Group A's bottom side Celtic to secure their route to the knockout round.
Similar possession and shots stats for both teams. Bordeaux only had two efforts on target, one of them was their goal.
I don't think football works like that - you don't get to choose who supports your team!
Grahame Cramlington: Usual picture of a player tapping the badge after scoring. Benteke has only been a Liverpool player five minutes. Loyal to his next pay cheque or big move if Liverpool fail to get European football.
The round of 32, they really drag this tournament out, don't they?
That's 10 consecutive Europa League games without a win for Celtic. The record is 12.
Liverpool are through to the Europa League last 32. Bordeaux are out.
It wasn't a classic, but it will do for the Reds.
So, Celtic out of the competition. It could have been even worse for the home team but one late chance for the Dutch side was scrambled clear before Yaya Sanogo shot wide from a tight angle.
Diego Contento won't be very contento with that as the ball drops to him a few yards out and he volleys over.
The Reds are almost there. Three minutes of added time to go.
Henri Saivet has a go from the free-kick but it's parried away by Simon Mignolet.
The Reds make a switch now and Divock Origi replaces Jordon Ibe, who comes off the pitch slowly.
Free-kick to Bordeaux in a really good position as Dejan Lovren fells Diego Rolan.
Five minutes of injury time.
Celtic, who need two goals in three minutes of injury time, are down to 10 men. Charlie Mulgrew has gone off injured and they've made their three changes.
Fans are streaming out of the stadium.
Liverpool striker Christian Benteke is booked for a late tackle. Five to go.
Dearie me - almost an equaliser for Bordeaux. Substitute Nicolas Maurice-Belay with a neat touch that sets up a shooting opportunity but that is where it goes wrong. His effort is blazed over the crossbar.
End to end at Celtic Park now. A draw sends both teams out so someone might as well win.
Leigh Griffiths is denied at one end and then Amin Younes hits the post for Ajax. Four minutes left.
So a reminder of where we stand. Celtic need a goal (either in their game or in the group's other game) to stay in the tournament.
Liverpool are through if they don't concede - but if Bordeaux do level, it goes down to the final day.
BBC Sport Scotland
"Since Scott Allan has come on he's been terrific. His passing is pin sharp and quick. In a few minutes he's created great chances for Griffiths and Mulgrew. Where has he been all this time?"
Ajax (like Celtic) need a goal and here comes Yaya Sanogo, the Arsenal loan striker. He replaces a defender in Mike van der Hoorn.
Oh Charlie Mulgrew. The Celtic substitute heads over from about four yards out. How many more chances will the Hoops get?
Henri Saivet, who scored Bordeaux's goal, has a go from 35 yards but it's very wide.
They react by making a change. Nicolas Maurice-Belay replaces Jussie.
The French visitors going out as things stand.
James Milner hits the side-netting with a shot. And moments later Roberto Firmino is replaced by Adam Lallana.
The Reds have a corner now, they're not looking too nervy. About 15 to go at Anfield too.
Leigh Griffiths has a great chance to put Celtic ahead after breaking the offside trap but his shot is too near Jasper Cillessen and it's save, the ball rolling out for a corner.
From that corner, Jozo Simunovic has two or three chances to turn it in but fails. Fifteen minutes left to save their European season.
Callum McGregor almost scores his second goal, but his long-range effort deflects off a defender and hits the angle of bar and post.
They need to score to stay in the tournament.
Fenerbahce have scored against Molde through Fernandao in Group A - as it stands Celtic are out.
The Hoops are still 1-1 with Ajax.
Dutch side Groningen have equalised against Marseille - it's 1-1 in France in the Group F game.
Mike, Liverpool: Liverpool hoping Benteke grows into a £32.5m player. Arsenal paid £35m for Sanchez. Sanchez is undoubtedly the better player. Everton paid £28m for Lukaku, who is a better striker, but perhaps not such a technical player. I feel Liverpool over-paid for Benteke - cue Benteke hat-trick.
Liverpool bring off midfielder Joe Allen and on comes Emre Can.
Bordeaux also make a change - striker Cheick Diabate on for Enzo Crivelli.
They could probably do a whole university course into studying whether Christian Benteke is very good or not. The Belgian waits for a Roberto Firmino pass to roll to him, rather than coming for it, and it's intercepted.
BBC Sport Scotland
"Celtic doing very little in attack now. Their accuracy has really dropped and so has their goal threat. What's impressive about them, though, is their concentration and discipline in defence. Boyota and Simunovic have been composed. Young Kieran Tierney continues to impress at left-back. Only 18. Hell of a find."
Liverpool full-back Alberto Moreno goes down in agony after getting a whack on the back from Clement Chantome. I think the Spaniard will be OK to continue though.
Jordon Ibe kicks the ball away in anger after conceding a free-kick for a definite foul. He wasn't booked for the foul, but he was for booting the ball away.
Diego Contento (great name) plays a ball over the top but it's headed clear by Kolo Toure. Less than half an hour for Liverpool to hang on and qualify for the last 32.
Bordeaux are insistent they should have a penalty as Christian Benteke handles a corner which had gone past Cedric Yambere. Not sure the Belgian could have done much about that. A few tough calls for the referee tonight - he's got most of them right.
Joe Allen then forces a save from Cedric Carrasso from distance and the keeper then denies Jordon Ibe a minute or two later.
Liverpool striker Christian Benteke has the ball in the net for the third time - but it's disallowed for the second time. James Milner crosses to Benteke, who slams home. He thinks he's scored, all of Anfield does, but the referee spotted a shove on defender Ludovic Sane which is how Benteke found his space to score.
Both sides giving it a good go in Glasgow. They are the bottom two clubs - but can both qualify - so someone really needs to win this to mix the group up.
And moments later Christian Benteke has the chance to play in Roberto Firmino but underhits the pass and it's cut out by a Bordeaux player.
We've seen both sides of Christian Benteke today. Joe Allen does well to find Roberto Firmino, who squares it for the Belgian striker 12 yards out. It looks a straightforward chance but he absolutely hoofs it over the bar. Awful finish.
Bordeaux's Andre Poko has hurt himself leaping over James Milner. He won a free-kick in the process. Not sure what Milner was penalised for there. Standing while someone jumped on him?
We are also going again on Merseyside.
Second half is under way in Glasgow.
In the other games, Napoli, who have already qualified, are leading at Group D rivals Club Brugge through former Spurs defender Vlad Chiriches (pictured).
In the other match in that group, bottom side Legia Warsaw have taken the lead against Midtjylland thanks to Aleksandar Prijovic's effort.
In Group F, Braga have equalised against Slovan Liberec through Ricardo Ferreira. It's 1-1 in Portugal.
Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen: "We were solid at the back and stayed patient which shows how mature we are.
"We got the job done here with a solid performance. Now we will be ready for Sunday."
BBC Sport Scotland
"The first half has flown by. Celtic are putting together some lovely passages of play. They're attacking with a real pace and threat after conceding a cheap equaliser . Good and bad in their game. Really hard one to call."
And that's the last action of the half. Liverpool going through as things stand.
Great goal byChristian Benteke,as he takes Nathaniel Clyne's cross away from a Bordeaux with a great first touch and absolutely hammers the ball past keeper Cedric Carrasso from the edge of the box. Fantastic finish.
Celtic still alive in the Europa League but they could really do with winning this one.
Mark Cheshire: Mignolet is so often the weak link. Let's hope klopp has a good goalkeeping scout!
falseGavin in Bolton: Mignolet has to go with Sturridge
End to end at Celtic Park as we approach injury time. Dedicated live text of that game here.
Gregory not convinced that Christian Benteke was fouled...
Good to see a referee applying the rules. Usually goalkeepers get away with holding the ball for ages. And defenders aren't always penalised for grabbing onto a striker.
James Milner, who had put in the cross that led to the penalty, sends Cedric Carrasso the wrong way. Bottom corner, fantastic corner.
Liverpool win a penalty as Christian Benteke goes down when Ludovic Sane puts his arms around him.
Not a lot of other goals to tell you about in the 20:05 GMT matches. Marseille are 1-0 up against FC Groningen and Slovan Liberec are leading at Sporting Braga - and that's about it.
Woof. Jaroslav Plasil rolls the indirect free-kick to Henri Saivet, who absolutely smashes it into the top corner from 16 yards.
The Reds had a seven-man wall six yards out. They've just counted it - Simon Mignolet had the ball in his hands for 20 seconds. You're allowed six.
It's all kicking off here. Keeper Simon Mignolet holds onto the ball for ages and the referee awards an indirect free-kick against him from 16 yards out.
Ajax almost go ahead as Amin Younes takes on the Celtic defence and curls an effort just wide from near the edge of the area.
Christian Benteke thinks he's put Liverpool ahead as he converts Jordon Ibe's through-ball but the big Belgian hadn't timed his run well enough. Offside.
The ball comes to Liverpool defender Kolo Toure, who flicks the ball up on his thigh about 30 yards out. The Reds fans tell him to shoot and he does - horrifically. It's well wide.
We're about 27 minutes in.
Reds midfielder Joe Allen is the latest to drill a shot wide. Not the most enthralling encounter so far.
Liverpool striker Christian Benteke chests the ball down and volleys wide. How crucial will he be for the Reds with Daniel Sturridge possibly sidelined again?
Craig Gordon makes a good save from Viktor Fischer's shot but the midfielder gets the rebound to Arkadiusz Milik, who turns home.
Bordeaux's Henri Saivet just smashes the ball into the wall and then volleys the rebound high and wide.
James Milner loses the ball in the opposition half, Bordeaux break and Joe Allen brings down Enzo Crivelli. This free-kick is in shooting range.
BBC Sport Scotland
"Terrific start at Celtic Park. Callum McGregor has started one game for Celtic this season but he's been like a buzz bomb. Beautiful curling finish for the opening goal. Ajax have settled now though. Viktor Fischer's goal should have stood. The home team have been warned."
By the way, Liverpool will go through as things stand. A goalless draw or a win will take them into the last 32.
Jordon Ibe goes on a Ricky Villa dribble, takes on a few Bordeaux players to get into the box but a defender gets back just in time to eliminate the threat.
Bordeaux unveiled a banner at Anfield before kick-off thanking fans for their support following the recent Paris attacks.
Ajax have the ball in the back of the net but it's wrongly ruled out. Amin Younes is just onside when he flicks the ball back to Viktor Fischer, who absolutely smashes it in from the edge of the box.
But the assistant referee's flag is raised. Lucky break for Celtic.
Roberto Firmino beats the offside trap to latch onto a ball over the top but keeper Cedric Carrasso comes out to collect the ball from the Brazilian, who was put under pressure by Bordeaux's defence.
In contrast to Celtic, not much to report from Anfield. The Reds go route one but Roberto Firmino scuffs his shot.
Callum McGregor was probably dreaming about this last night, he takes on a couple of Ajax defenders outside the box and curls it home from 20 yards. A huge goal for Celtic.
We're going at Anfield. A Reds win will take them through.
Joining Tottenham in the last-32 are Germany's Schalke, who had a 1-0 home win over Apoel. Sporting Lisbon still have a chance of going through after a fine 4-2 away win to Lokomotiv Moscow. Sparta Prague also advance along with Athletic Bilbao.
Under way in Glasgow. Celtic will be out if they lose.
We are almost ready to go at Liverpool and Celtic Park.
If your primary concern is Celtic, there is a dedicated live text here from BBC Scotland.
Bordeaux players have a banner saying 'thank you' with the British and French flags as gratitude for the reaction to the Paris attacks.
The Reds have converted four of their 87 shots in this season's Europa League - one in each game.
This week, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was quizzed by a local child on, among other things, the Scouse dialect.
If you like the sound of that, check that out here.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, speaking to BT Sport, on Daniel Sturridge's latest injury: "I can't say so much about this because we trained this morning, we were at the hotel and he had to leave to have a scan. We have to wait for the results."
On the match: "At this moment many people are talking because of the difference in results. We have got better and better in the last few weeks. It's another difficult game because we have some problems with injuries."
According to Liverpool's website, this will be the first time in the club's history that European games against the same team in a single campaign have seen a different Reds boss in charge. Brendan Rodgers was in charge in France earlier this season. That game ended 1-1.
The Reds would qualify with a victory tonight against Bordeaux, having only won one of their opening four games.
They began with three 1-1 draws - against tonight's opposition, Sion and Rubin Kazan - before beating the latter 1-0 last time out.
BBC Sport Scotland
"Celtic team tonight is young, but Ajax are incredibly young. Back four aged 20, 23, 19, 22. Ahead of them the captain Davy Klaasen is 22. Front three is 21,21 and 22. Poor in Europe, decent domestically. Scoring plenty. Ronny Deila missing an entire midfield. If he gets a win tonight it'll be the best result of his time at Celtic in my opinion"
Celtic midfielder Nir Bitton is suspended tonight, and that's perhaps for the best with his negative attitude.
Speaking after his side's second consecutive defeat by Molde - where he was sent off, he said: "After you lose two games in a row to Molde, you cannot think about beating Ajax and Fenerbahce."
Quote Message: I still see an opportunity to go through, and that's what we are going to fight for. We have to go for winning the game. from Ronny Deila Celtic boss
The Hoops will be eliminated if they lose tonight.
It was actually looking OK for Celtic in the early stages of this group. They drew 2-2 against Ajax and Fenerbahce in their first two games, both games they were unfortunate to not win.
But two defeats by Molde, 3-1 and 2-1 last time out, and they are in real trouble now.
Ronny Deila's side started the season in the Champions League qualifiers, getting past Stjarnan and Qarabag but losing to Malmo then at the final hurdle.
Just the 2,500-mile flight from Baku to London for Spurs, before they face Chelsea at noon on Sunday.
Now to turn our attention towards the 20:05 GMT kick-offs.
Spurs are through to the Europa League last 32 with a deserved win in Baku.
Spurs bring on 18-year-old Joshua Onomah for Christian Eriksen for injury time.
Three minutes added on.
Christian Eriksen steps up to take the free-kick, you almost expect him to score, but he just slams it off the wall instead.
Clinton Njie wins a free-kick for Spurs in a good position as he goes on a jinking run, nutmegging a Qarabag defender along the way before being caught.
Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen has a go from 20 yards out but it's high and wide.
So if Tottenham see out the final nine minutes, they will be through to the last 32 of the Europa League.
Spurs bring on Clinton Njie, who I'd almost forgotten existed, for Son Heung-min.
And Qarabag make their final switch. Afran Ismayilov comes off for Elvin Mammadov.
It's been coming and it's here. Harry Kane heads home Christian Eriksen's corner from six yards out.
That's his ninth Spurs goal in his last six games. That lad loves a goal spurt.
Dele Alli, who has been Tottenham's best player tonight, smashes the ball off the post with a first-time volley.
And moments later it looks like Harry Kane is going to score but Ibrahim Sehic tips his shot over.
Our colleagues in BBC Scotland have just started their Celtic v Ajax live text commentary now.
We'll be bringing you the latest from that game, and Liverpool v Bordeaux, after this game is over.
Tottenham make their first change. Ryan Mason comes off for Tom Carroll in midfield.
It's actually becoming a good game now - very open - and Dani Quintana forces a save from Hugo Lloris.
Seconds later - 100 yards away - Son Heung-min's latches onto a ball forward and the hosts clear in a slight panic for a corner.
Spurs are turning up the pressure now and midfender Eric Dier has a shot from an angle which is touched wide by the keeper.
Harry Kane then has a shot deflected wide.

The hosts make a change as the brilliantly named Chumbinho comes on for Javid Taghiyev.
The closest either side has come by some way - Tottenham forward Son Heung-min smashes a shot off the crossbar from the edge of the box.
Harry Kane holds off Richard Almeida and plays the ball into the centre for Dele Alli. The England midfielder has a go from 25 yards but it's saved by Qarabag's Bosnian keeper Ibrahim Sehic
It's an open game now. Surely someone will score?
Christian Eriksen drags a shot wide of the post for Spurs.
As things stand, Spurs could still be eliminated if they lose their final game to Monaco.
And Qarabag can still qualify.
Sporting Lisbon have come from behind to lead Lokomotiv Moscow 3-1 away from home. Fiorentina are 2-1 up at Basel, while Lazio, Rosenborg, Besiktas, Anderlecht, Sparta Prague and AZ Alkmaar are also leading in their games.
Harry Kane holds the ball up and plays a reverse ball to Dele Alli, who wants a corner as a defender tackles it out of play, but the referee awards a goal-kick.
Alli has been lively tonight.
Qarabag play the corner deep and Richard Almeida's ambitious 35-yard shot bounces wide.
The hosts make a change up front as Samuel Armenteros replaces Rydell Poepon.
Toby Alderweireld clips a ball into the box but Son Heung-min lets it run and has go to wide to get it. The chance is done.
The hosts break and Ben Davies heads it out for Qarabag's first corner of the night.
So, no Daniel Sturridge for Liverpool. The England forward was expected to return from a knee injury but it is reported he is now suffering from a foot problem.
Jurgen Klopp makes four changes to the side that started the 4-1 at Manchester City - in come defender Kolo Toure, midfielders Joe Allen and Jordon Ibe, and striker Christian Benteke. Making way are Martin Skrtel, Adam Lallana, Emre Can and Philippe Coutinho.
Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Clyne, Toure, Lovren, Moreno, Lucas, Allen, Milner, Ibe, Firmino, Benteke.
Ways to improve the Europa League...
Spurs start the second half on the attack and home keeper Ibrahim Sehic does well to claw the ball away from Son Heung-min.
We go again.
Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor, 22, makes his first start in two months
He replaces the injured Scott Brown. Kieran Tierney and Gary Mackay-Steven also come into the starting XI in place of the suspended Nir Bitton and Emilio Izaguirre.
Celtic XI: Gordon, Lustig, Boyata, Simunovic, Tierney, Rogic, McGregor, Armstrong; Forrest, Griffiths, Mackay-Steven.
Ajax XI: Cillessen, Tete, Van der Hoorn, Riedewald, Dijks, Klaassen, Schone, Gudelj, Fischer, Milik, Younes
Great idea from Vince there. New clubs might be slightly hindered by that rule though.
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge isn't named in Liverpool's squad at all today. Some journalists seem to say he has a new foot injury...
Not sure what 50% good tactic means mind.
Will Daniel Sturridge play? Team news in about 20 minutes...
So that was far from a classic opening 45 minutes.
The Europa League is a much-maligned competition but what can Uefa do to improve it?
Return to the Uefa Cup days of 100% unadulterated knockout football?
Scrap the offside rule in the tournament?

It's level at the break. As things stand Spurs would need a result on the final day to clinch a place in the knockout stages.
One minute until the break.
Rydell Poepon was the Qarabag player injured for an awkward fall after jumping over Dele Alli. Richard Almeida is booked for his complaints.
Qarabag break with three men coming forward but Dani Quintana is greedy and goes alone. His effort is saved by Hugo Lloris. It was almost three on one for a second.
The hosts now furious that Spurs didn't kick the ball out of play when someone was down injured.
Harry Kane has a quick snap-shot for Spurs on the turn but it's deflected wide for a corner off Richard Almeida.
Christian Eriksen puts in a good cross from a corner, which Dele Alli gets his head onto, but it's easily saved by Ibrahim Sehic.
Spurs caught offside again - Son Heung-min had just strayed too early.
Qarabag have only conceded one home goal this season in five European games.
Colombia forward Fredy Montero has equalised for Sporting Lisbon in Moscow against Lokomotiv. Meanwhile,Federico Bernarderschi's 23rd-minute goal has edged Fiorentina (below)ahead at Basel. However, Fiorentina were reduced to 10 men with more than an hour of the game to go following Facundo Roncaglia's 27th-minute red card. And yet the Italians have extended their lead - Bernarderschi with his second.
Ben Davies is running onto a ball for Spurs but Qarabag defender Badavi Huseynov comes across, gets ball and man and goes down injured after taking a huge whack in the collision.
Both men are OK.
Seconds later, Toby Alderweireld has a shot for Spurs but it's straight at the keeper.
Tottenham have a free-kick from out wide, which Christian Eriksen will take.
But it's awful and cleared easily by the home defence. I'd expect a better set-piece from the Dane.
Son Heung-min tries to find Dele Alli with a ball over the Qarabag defence but the hosts clear and break...
And at the other end, we have one of the few decent chances of the game but Afran Ismayilov's shot from an angle is held by Hugo Lloris.
No real pattern to this game so far, Spurs are on top but Qarabag haven't been afraid to go forward when they get the ball. They can still qualify for the last 32.
Athletic Bilbaohave the lead in Germany atAugsburg, Markel Susaeta finding the net in the 10th minute. Athletic will qualify for the last-32 with a win.
Shame on each and every one of you.
Almost a chance for Qarabag. Ryan Mason loses the ball to Dani Quintana, who plays the ball out right to Rydell Poepon but the ball is hit too hard and makes his team-mate work too much. They end up with their back to goal, and Spurs clear.
It's not going all Spurs' way at the moment, although they definitely had the better of the first 20 minutes.
Dele Alli has had a dream start to the season but this won't in his 'best of' Youtube video. Kieran Trippier picks him out 12 yards out but, under no pressure, he slams well wide. Should be 1-0.
Ryan Mason finds Son Heung-min with a lovely clipped ball over the top but Qarabag's defence step out together and find the South Korean offside.
Somebody buy that defensive coach a pint.
Qarabag have a free-kick out wide as Kieran Trippier clips Javid Taghiyev...
But it's low and into a crowd of Spurs players. A waste.
First goal in the 12 18:00 GMT kick-offs has come...from Lazio. The Group G leaders get an early breakthrough at home to Dnipro thanks to Antonio Candreva's fourth-minute goal.
Elsewhere, Group H leaders Lokomotiv Moscow lead Jorge Jesus' Sporting Lisbon 1-0.
Another passing move for Spurs, another Ryan Mason shot. This time the midfielder drills well over the bar from about 25 yards.
Spurs not showing too much jetlag after their million-mile (well 2,446) journey to Azerbaijan.
A bit of Fiffi-Faffa from Spurs in midfield and they lose the ball.
But they win it back and Ryan Mason forces a save from Ibrahim Sehic. Well it was straight at the Qarabag captain, but it counts as a shot on target.
Qarabag putting a good passing move together early on but Toby Alderweireld comes across to quell that attack.
Good start from the hosts.
We are under way in Baku, where it is 10pm.
Surprised to see Spurs only make three changes? I am.

Liverpool's Group B rivals FC Sion have lost 2-0 away to Rubin Kazan. It means Jurgen Klopp's side will go top of the table - as well as qualifying for the last 32 with one game to spare - if they defeat Bordeaux later on. Sion's last group game is at home to Liverpool on 10 December.
Elsewhere, Borussia Dortmund, who have already qualified from the group stages, have lost 1-0 at Krasnodar, while Dinamo Minsk have their first win of the Group E campaign with a 1-0 victory over Viktoria Plzen.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino on BT Sport: "Every game is important.
"We always try to have the best players for every game.
"We believe this team is a strong team to try to win. l know it's a difficult game at Qarabag.
On the 2,446-mile journey: "It's a very long way, but now it's in our head. We are ready. There are no excuses."
Qarabag are originally from Agdam but the city was destroyed in the Nagorno-Karabakh War in the 1990s.
It was once a city of 50,000 people, who all fled when Armenia attacked. Every Azeri house in the town was blown up to discourage return.
The club now play in Baku, over 200 miles away.
