  1. FULL-TIME

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

And it's all over. Points shared.

  2. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Salomon Rondon has just shot from his own half. It's gone out for a throw in.

  3. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Ooft, a James McClean cross flashes across the penalty area. No takers. Can West Brom win it?

  4. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

    Garth Crooks

Former Spurs striker on Final Score

"For me, Tottenham don't have a chance of making the top four. They are a top-six side, nothing more."

  5. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Clinton N'Jie is picked out but the Spurs substitute is offside. Close.

  6. YELLOW CARD

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Now then, James McClean is a lucky boy there. He was high and late on Mousa Dembele. In fact, watching it again, he's extremely fortunate. A nasty one.

    James McClean
  7. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

    West Brom v Tottenham

Can they repeat it? 10 minutes to find a winner...

  8. SUBSTITUTION

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Dele Alli has faded out of the game after the break, so Clinton N'Jie has been invited to remove his anorak.

  9. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Why did he let it bounce?

Craig Gardner's cross looked to be dropping on the foot of Salomon Rondon between two defenders eight yards out but the Venezuelan hesitated and Spurs cleared.

  10. YELLOW CARD

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Spurs' Harry Kane gets a booking now, for a late challenge on Gareth McAuley.

  11. GREAT SAVE!

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

How did Hugo Lloris divert that over? The Frenchman flung up his arms to block Jonas Olsson's effort from little more than four yards.

Olsson then heads wide from the subsequent corner.

  12. YELLOW CARD

    West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

Craig Gardner goes in the book, it appears for not waiting until Jon Moss had broken out the shaving foam before taking a free-kick.

  13. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

A James McClean header has just bounced before being scooped up by goalkeeper Hugh Lloris. It's been that kind of game.

  14. Can anyone get a winner?

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

    West Brom v Spurs
  15. SUBSTITUTION

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

That's Erik Lamela's game over. He's trotted off to be replaced by Heung-min Son.

  16. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Spurs have just exercised - if not tested - Boaz Myhill. Mousa Dembele's powderpuff shot is gathered easily by the West Brom goalkeeper.

  17. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Dreadful free-kicks such as the one just taken by West Brom's Chris Brunt don't help. Rather than shaping one into the box, the Northern Irishman has just lashed one out for a throw in.

  18. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

With two of the league's more resolute defences on show, it's perhaps no surprise chances have been scarce. Apart from the two goals, we've only had that early Salomon Rondon lash over and Harry Kane's tame effort early in the second half.

  19. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

    Jonathan Pearce

BBC football commentator at the Hawthorns

Lively old game, this one, in a spiteful wind.

  20. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Danny Rose, what a challenge. The Tottenham full-back halts Craig Gardner as he attempts to break into the box.

  21. PENALTY APPEAL

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Jonny Evans' shot rattles against Mousa Dembele and, although West Brom claim for a penalty, the ball was nowhere near the Belgian midfielder's hands.

  22. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Corner Spurs... but Erik Lamela's header from Christian Eriksen's delivery is tame.

  23. CLOSE!

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Nearly, nearly. Dele Alli guides a lofted pass into Harry Kane. He rolls Gareth McAuley and stabs goalwards from a few yards, but Craig Dawson intervenes to lash the tame effort clear.

  27. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

I told you James McClean's goal was a lovely move and this graphic proves the point. Stephane Sessegnon, Craig Dawson, James Morrison and Darren Fletcher were all involved before the Irishman supplied the finish.

    James McClean
  28. HALF-TIME

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

And that's it for the opening half. A draw probably fair, given how West Brom reacted to Tottenham taking the lead.

  29. How are we level?

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

    Maurico Pochettino

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino must be wondering what has happened to his side. They looked so comfortable.

  30. SUBSTITUTION

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

As expected, Stephane Sessegnon's afternoon is over. Craig Gardner is coming on.

  31. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Could be a change coming here for West Brom. Stephane Sessegnon is clutching his hamstring and has decided to have a wee seat on the pitch. Shame, he was coming on to a game.

    Craig Gardner is warming up...

  32. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

So Tony Pulis' side are level with their first real chance of the game. How will Spurs react?

  33. Post update

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

    Garth Crooks

Former Spurs striker on Final Score

"James McClean absolutely rivets this one - boom! He really attacks the ball. Good play by West Brom."

    Rivets, Garth?

  34. GOAL

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

James McClean scores his first goal for the club and it was a beauty. Darren Fletcher and Stephane Sessegnon combined on the right and the Scot flighted a lovely cross to the back post, where the Irishman scudded a header past Hugo Lloris.

    James McClean
  35. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

Tottenham's intensity has dipped a little, allowing West Brom to wrest the initiative. They are not doing a great deal with it, mind.

  36. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

Alas, Salomon Rondon's free-kick rebounds apologetically off the Spurs wall.

  37. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

This is more like it for the hosts, a corner. But Stephane Sessegnon's delivery is scudded clear by Spurs. The ball is returned, though, and Sessegnon is hacked down by Mousa Dembele. Free kick...

  38. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

Chris Brunt with a crucial intervention, hacking a cross clear from inside West Brom's six-yard area.

  39. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

    Dele Alli

The goal was Dele Alli's third for Tottenham.

  40. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

And they got one. But Stephane Sessegnon's ball is headed clear by Jan Vertonghen.

  41. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

Free-kick after Stephane Sessegnon is caught by Erik Lamela. Now West Brom need a good delivery...

  42. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

West Brom are having a go but they are struggling to make an impression on one of the division's most resolute defences. Only Manchester United have conceded fewer league goals than Spurs.

  43. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

    Garth Crooks

Former Spurs striker on Final Score

"Tony Pulis must be doing his crust. Tottenham play in one ball, from 40 yards, and they lead.

"Dele Alli runs from deep, into the box between two centre-backs, and finishes with a volley. I want to know how the defenders allowed him such space."

  44. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

    Martin Keown

Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

"Dele Alli’s composure, his pace, his intelligence... I cannot believe he was a lower-league player a year ago. It’s remarkable, and no-one scores those kind of goals against West Brom."

  45. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

It might have come from a long ball, but the goal followed a sustained period of possession from Spurs...

    Deli Alli goal
  46. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

Now that they're behind, West Brom are going to have to abandon their early strategy, you suspect. And already they are pushing up the park a little.

  47. GOAL

    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

Dele Alli has been the most influential performer so far and he's put Spurs ahead. The England midfielder was picked out by Toby Alderweireld'slong ball and he cushioned a finish beyond Boaz Myhill.

    Dele Alli goal
  48. Post update

    West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

Nice hold-up play by West Brom's Salomon Rondon but James McLean gets his legs tangled up as he attempts to receive the Venezuelan's pass.

  49. Make some noise

    West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

    Jonathan Pearce

BBC football commentator at the Hawthorns

The atmosphere at the Hawthorns today is muted.

    Tony Pulis
  50. Post update

    West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

West Brom are playing like the away side here, sitting in and trying to break on Spurs.

  51. CLOSE!

    West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

Chance for West Brom. Salomon Rondon lopes on to a long ball, shrugs off Jan Vertonghen but lashes his shot over from 18 yards.

  52. Post update

    West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

Spurs really do look comfortable on the ball, popping it about with ease. Yet to create anything, mind.

    Moussa Dembele
  53. Post update

    West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

Tottenham win the first corner, Dele Alli the man who won it after a burst forward. The delivery is played short and the chance is spurned.

  54. Post update

    West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

West Brom are playing a back four, it seems. Surely that's not Jonny Evans in a deep-lying midfield role? Bold.

  55. KICK-OFF

    West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

Spurs get us underway, Dele Alli nudging the ball to Harry Kane...

  56. Fashion update

  61. 'Centre-backs key to Spurs form'

West Brom v Tottenham (15:00 GMT)

    Toby Alderweireld & Jan Vertonghen

Tottenham's centre-back pairing of Belgium internationals Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen has been instrumental in theirfantastic start to the Premier League season, believes former Scotland winger Pat Nevin.

“Mauricio Pochettino has developed the Spurs players and the ones who have not been doing it have been jettisoned," he told 5 live Sport on Friday.

"The key is the centre-back pairing of Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen –  Spurs have not had that right for a long time. With Eric Dier in front of them, it looks a bit special.”

  62. Below expectations

West Brom v Tottenham (15:00 GMT)

    Saido Berahino

West Brom striker Saido Berahino has scored just three goals in 11 appearances since being denied a summer move to Tottenham and is not in the starting XI today.

Asked about the 22-year-old ahead of the game, manager Tony Pulis offered this blunt assessment.

"Last season, the most influential player at the club was Saido but, for six months, we've played with Saido being nowhere near as good as he was last year. I'm not blaming Saido, not anyone, it's just fact."

Sounds like he very much is blaming him...

  63. Play our Premier League predictor

West Brom v Tottenham (15:00 GMT)

Tottenham may be challenging to the top end of the Premier League but their fans are second-from-bottom of the BBC Sport Predictor league. West Brom fans, meanwhile, are mid-table. You can change all that now by predicting the outcome of this match and the rest of the weekend’s fixtures here.

  64. MOTD commentator's view

West Brom v Tottenham (15:00 GMT)

    Jonathan Pearce

BBC football commentator at The Hawthorns

"Tottenham are enjoying their longest ever unbeaten Premier League run. They're unbeaten in five visits to The Hawthorns and the 'Hurri-Kane' is blowing strongly again.

"Spurs will start as red-hot favourites but West Brom are showing enough resilience to suggest they've fully bought into the Tony Pulis recipe for survival.

"They won't boss possession. They will try to shackle Dele Alli and starve Harry Kane of supplies. Spurs looked jaded against Chelsea. They might have to settle for a draw here."

    Yellow card for 'Hurri-Kane', Jonathan.

  65. Tottenham team news

West Brom v Tottenham (15:00 GMT)

There are two alterations to Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham team, with Dele Alli available again to replace the injured Ryan Mason and Eric Lamela preferred to Son Heung-min.
