  1. Goodnight

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Right, that's all from us after what became a very entertaining game between Everton and Crystal Palace.

The home team dominated possession and created the most chances but Palace were worthy of a point.

Join us again tomorrow when the focus turns to the Champions League and the final games in the group stage.

Manchester United travel to Wolfsburg and may need to win to stay in the competition, while Manchester City host Borussia Moenchengladbach and could overtake Juventus to top their group if they win and the Italian champions lose at Sevilla.

    We'll see you then.

  2. Replay for Grimsby & Shrewsbury

    FA Cup

In tonight's FA Cup tie, National League Grimsby and League One Shrewsbury drew 0-0.

A replay will decide which of the two travels to Cardiff in round three.

For the full draw, click here.

  3. Palace brilliant - Pardew

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Alan Pardew

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew: "It was a great game, Everton are in form and we were brilliant tonight and some decisions could have gone our way.

"The second decision (Funes Mori challenge on Jordon Mutch), he was 12 yards away and I asked him but he didn't give me answer. I have to accept that. A draw was a fair result.

"If we could have seen that five minutes out after our goal, it might have been different, but all credit to Everton they kept coming and we are really pleased with a draw as it takes us sixth and with a home game to come.

"We showed tonight we have quality."

  4. Lukaku sensational - Martinez

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Roberto Martinez on Romelu Lukaku: "He has been very consistent throughout the year, not just this season. To score 26 goals in a calendar year is sensational. He is always there to give us a focal point and score goals.

"It was a big moment. One hundred games is a landmark moment and 50 goals is a remarkable return. He's only 22, he is in a very good moment of his career. He is vital in everything we are trying to do."

  5. Martinez 'delighted' & 'disappointed'

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Roberto Martinez

Everton boss Roberto Martinez on Sky Sports: "It was a well fought performance. They are very direct, they use their power and pace very well and we coped until the last 10 minutes. You have to score goals against them and we hit the post and crossbar, and on another day we would have scored them and made the difference.

"Their record shows that they don't give leads away, we are delighted we got back into it but were disappointed we dropped two points in our eyes."

  6. Palace's second draw of the season

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Tonight's result was just Crystal Palace's second draw of the season as they failed to win having led for the first time in 2015-16.

In contrast, Everton have drawn seven of their 15 league games. Only Tottenham can beat that total with eight draws.

  7. Dann the man

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

A word too for boyhood Liverpool fan Scott Dann, who headed Palace in front.

The centre-half nodded the winner when Palace won against Liverpool at Anfield a month ago.

He obviously feels at home on Merseyside.

  8. Lukaku strikes again

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Oliver Boden and Louis Omoni both tweeted us to point out how prolific Romelu Lukaku has been while his former club Chelsea are struggling so badly in front of goal.

The Belgian has been slightly overshadowed by Jamie Vardy's form but he now has 14 in all competitions (11 in the league) this season.

Overall he has 50 in 100 Everton appearances. A very impressive ratio.

  9. Lukaku the team man

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Romelu Lukaku celebrates

Everton goalscorer Romelu Lukaku on Sky Sports on whether his side deserved the win: "Of course. We had a lot of chances and we were unlucky when we hit the crossbar. After their goal we reacted well, it shows we have great character in the team."

On reaching 50 Everton goals, he added: "I am proud but I'm a team performer, so I'm happy with the record but disappointed we didn't get the three points."

    Kevin Kilbane

Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Quote Message: What a combination these two are proving to be for Everton - Deulofeu and Lukaku. The striker is getting in the areas to score goals and he is getting plenty of assists from the likes of Barkley and Deulofeu.

  12. Great game to watch

    Kevin Kilbane

Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Quote Message: Both sides will feel as though they could have won this game - Palace were excellent on the break but credit Everton for coming back into the game. When you go behind so late it is difficult to regroup. I thought it was an excellent game to watch and both managers can be happy with the performance of their team.
  13. Post update

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Everton make the last attack of the match and Arouna Kone has a shot deflected behind but before the corner can be taken, referee Craig Dawson blows the full-time whistle.

The point takes Palace up to sixth while Everton also climb two places, to ninth.

A breathless last half-hour or so after 60 minutes of (mostly) sparring.

  14. FULL-TIME - Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

  15. Post update

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Nearly an opening for Romelu Lukaku but Palace's James McArthur makes a crucial challenge 10 yards out.

  16. Post update

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Jordon Mutch robs the ball from the dozing Gareth Barry but drags his shot wide. Should have done better there.

  17. INJURY TIME

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Three added minutes to find a winner...

  18. That should be a pen!

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Kevin Kilbane

Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Quote Message: That is a penalty for Palace! Funes Mori does not get the ball - he takes Mutch out . The assistant referee was in line with that and should be giving it.
  19. YELLOW CARD

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Ramiro Funes Mori

Crystal Palace's James McArthur is booked for a late challenge on Seamus Coleman.

Shortly before Palace had a penalty shot as Ramiro Funes Mori appeared to catch Jordon Mutch, although the contact was just outside the area.

Nothing given though - and Kevin Kilbane obviously saw the incident slightly differently...

  20. Post update

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace come again as Yannick Bolasie surges forward but he is blocked by Gareth Barry.

  21. Post update

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Everton now seeking a winner with just over five minutes to go.

Pape Souare wellies clear for Palace, who are defending deep.

  22. A record under threat

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Crystal Palace leading graphic
  23. GOAL - Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace (Romelu Lukaku)

    Romelu Lukaku celebrates

Finally, Romelu Lukaku has his goal and Everton are level. Gerard Deulofeu gets to the byline and cuts the ball across for Lukaku to tap in from three yards.

It's his 50th Everton goal in his 100th appearance for the Blues.

    Anyone's game now.

  24. CLOSE!

    Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace

Almost an instant response! For the third time tonight Everton hit the woodwork and for the second time it's Romelu Lukaku who is unlucky.

The Belgian striker connects with a fierce left-foot shots but it thuds against the bar. Wayne Hennessey was well beaten.

  25. Post update

    Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Kevin Kilbane

Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 live

    Scott Dann scores
Quote Message: That is poor defending from Everton. It is actually a simple header in the end from Dann - he is the one who was determined to get on the end of it.
  26. GOAL - Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace (Scott Dann)

    Scott Dan celebrates

Out of nowhere Palace take the lead and it's a really, really soft goal for Everton to concede.

A corner comes over from the right and Scott Dann is left totally unmarked to head the visitors in front.

    Woeful defending.

  27. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have offered little attacking threat in the last 10-15 minutes. Striker Dwight Gayle is getting ready to come on to offer fresh legs and, Palace will hope, fresh ideas.

    They need them.

    Get involved using #bbcfootball

Who do you consider the Premier League's most under-rated foreign players - and why?

Danny Cheng: Easily, Bojan. Aka The Silent Playmaker. So intelligent on and off the ball. Stoke always look a different side when he plays

Douglas Lason: Lucas no question. Always gets the job done with no fuss, and easily Liverpool's most consistent player this season.

Mamadi Sirleaf: Newcastle's Moussa Sissoko is very underrated in the EPL, he's the main engine behind all of the team victories this season.

  30. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

The pressure building from Everton, who win two corners in quick succession. Finally a good delivery from Ross Barkley but no-one can get on the end of it.

Gerard Deulofeu then takes another corner from the right but it's under-hit and is greeted by Goodison groans.

  31. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

Gerard Deulofeu dilly-dallying but not getting a shot away when the opportunity arose after he danced into the penalty area.

Tom Cleverley then tries his luck again from the edge of the box but doesn't make such sweet contact this time.

  32. GREAT SAVE!

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Tom Cleverley's volley is saved

Tom Cleverley with a really sweet volley that Wayne Hennessey dives full stretch to his left to turn behind with his fingertips. Superb stop.

Some nice link-up play involving Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku in the build-up.

Everton getting closer. They look the most likely to make the breakthrough.

  33. Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Kevin Kilbane

Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Quote Message: Baines is one of the best players I've played with. The reason why he's come on is to add more attacking impetus.
  34. SUBSTITUTION

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

Everton's Leighton Baines is on for his first league appearance of the season after recovering from a long-term ankle problem.

He replaces fellow left-back Brendan Galloway.

  35. Everton 0-0 Palace

    Kevin Kilbane

Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Quote Message: Palace just dropped a bit too deep. It's an excellent ball from Barkley and it was unfortunate for Everton that it bounced off the bar.
  36. HITS THE WOODWORK

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

Connor Wickham nearly scores again - this time for Everton!

Ross Barkley whips in a wicked free-kick from the left and the ball flicks off the back of Wickham's head and bounces back off the bar.

  37. FA Cup latest

Will we ever have a goal this evening? I mean, is it really too much to ask?

Still goalless in the tie between Grimsby and Shrewsbury - updates here.

  38. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

The game is stretched now and Tim Howard does well to keep out Yannick Bolasie, who runs from deep and gets away from John Stones.

Much more like it. Warming up nicely now.

  39. Who are the Premier League's underrated?

    Get Involved using #bbcfootball

Who do you consider the Premier League's most under-rated foreign players - and why?

Josh: Kante and Christian Fuchs both have been a massive reason as to why Leicester are first.

Harison Saunders: Moussa Dembele. Been so solid this season and has improved a lot since last year.

sViera: Fonte for Southampton. Very solid defender and captain. Apparently made Lovren look like a £20m centre half.

    Christain Fuchs

  40. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

The TV coverage has just shown a replay of Everton skipper Gareth Barry pulling the shirt of Palace counterpart Mile Jedinak at the corner.

Now THAT was a foul. The home team lucky to get away with that one.

  41. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Tim Howard punches

Palace win a corner themselves, rather fortunately as the ball appeared to come off Joel Ward last.

Referee Craig Pawson gives a free-kick for a foul against Tim Howard but Connor Wickham's only crime was to stand his ground.

  42. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

Arouna Kone has a shot for Everton but he's well off target, not for the first time tonight.

  43. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Gerard Deulofeu

Gerard Deulofeu wins another corner, as the home side start the second half positively, but the Spaniard's deliver of it is once again poor.

There's a reason Everton have only scored once from a set-piece so far this season.

  44. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

The second half is under way. A goal could really open this up. And Everton have an early corner.

  45. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

The players are back out at Goodison. No changes from either team.

Now, what chances of a goal in this half?

  46. 'Coleman complete full-back

    Kevin Kilbane

Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Quote Message: Seamus Coleman is getting better and better defensively. He's becoming the complete full-back. This season I think he's been the best in the Premier League.
  47. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

The Times' chief football writer Henry Winter is again impressed by Everton centre-half John Stones.

  48. Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

  49. Who are the Premier League's underrated?

    Text us on 81111

Who do you consider the Premier League's most under-rated foreign players - and why?

Les Eaton, Basildon: West Ham's Winston Reid must be the most underrated foreign player in the Premier League this season, always excellent but hardly ever gets a mention.

Manan Kapila: Daley Blind without a doubt! Nobody thought he had the physicality or pace required to be a good centre-back but look at United's defensive record this season! Not to mention his excellent over the top balls (throwback to RvP at the World Cup).

    Winston Reid

  50. 'Stones a superstar'

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Kevin Kilbane

Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Quote Message: John Stone's anticipation is ahead of the attackers', ahead of the play, and I'm a huge admirer. He's been a huge plus since he broke through into the side. You watch him closely, he's anticipating where the midfielder is going to pass the ball. He's going to be a superstar.
  51. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

So no breakthrough at Goodison, Connor Wickham had Palace's best effort with the header that cannoned off Tim Howard's chest, while Romelu Lukaku, seeking his 50th Everton goal in his 100th appearance for the club, struck the post.

Plenty of nice football, little end product. A bit more oomph would be welcome in the second half.

  53. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

    One minute of added time...

  54. Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

John Stones has been solid in defence but the centre-back has also had his moments in the Crystal Palace half, as this graphic of the England international's touches shows.

He's dribbled out of defence on occasion and a cute cross in the box caused chaos among Palace's defence.

    John Stones touches
  55. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

Another poor Everton corner - this time from Ross Barkley - but it nearly comes to something as Connor Wickham fails to deal with it. However, Gareth Barry cannot get any juice on his shot which is straight at Wayne Hennessey, who finally has a save to make.

  56. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

James McArthur tries a left-footed side-foot volley for Palace but can't control his shot.

  57. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

Nothing doing from the corner - the delivery from Gareth Barry lacked pace while Arouna Kone can't find a team-mate from the follow-up.

John Stones landed awkwardly when attempting a header from the corner and the England centre-half is limping slightly.

  58. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

Seamus Coleman cuts inside but his left-foot shot is deflected behind for an Everton corner. Gerard Deulofeu is then robbed of possession before the ball can come across.

The Spaniard gets the ball back, jinks into the area and wins another corner.

  59. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Gerard Deulofeu

Tom Cleverley breaks forward for Everton and feeds Gerard Deulofeu but the Spaniard can't find a way through.

There are plenty of Palace defenders surrounding Deulofeu when the ball goes to him.

Everton are still to get an effort on target but Lukaku did hit the post earlier.

  60. Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Kevin Kilbane

Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 live

    Roberto Martinez and Alan Pardew
Quote Message: Both managers deserve credit. Martinez was under pressure last season and he's come through that spell and this season they're playing the type of football we'd expect.
  61. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

Ramiro Funes Mori gives the ball away but Connor Wickham's attempt to find Yohan Cabaye is ambitious and runs through to Tim Howard.

Who do you consider the Premier League's most under-rated foreign players - and why?

Nathan Brown: Son Heung- min. He changed the dynamic at Tottenham for the better. He can pass and shoot well at the front.

Luke: Carles Gil is massively underrated. Has the ability to unlock nearly impossible doors. Far too good for Villa.

James Commins: In this game it has to be Jedinak, consistent starter under every Palace manager, always does a job and a set-piece specialist.

More step-overs from Everton's irrepressible Gerard Deulofeu but his cross is sliced wide.

  65. Post update

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

A bit of a lull at Goodison after both sides came close to opening the scoring. Palace began the better but Everton have settled now and look dangerous whenever they come forward. As has been the case recently, Gerard Deulofeu and Romelu Lukaku are the main threats.

Yannick Bolasie has been Palace's best creative source down the right.

Who do you consider the Premier League's most under-rated foreign players - and why?

Daniel Geraghty: Nacho Monreal has been the most consistent left back of the season. Improved immeasurably.

John from London: Nacho Monreal. Been one of Arsenal's most reliable defenders for a long time, yet no one really gives him the credit he deserves! He displaced Gibbs from the side and is now nowhere near losing his place.

    Romelu Lukaku reacts

Romelu Lukaku so, so close! He gets the break of the ball just outside the box but almost makes the most of it - his left-foot shot from the right side striking the far post and rolling across the goal.

The closest we've come so far.

  71. FA Cup action

One other game to tell you about this evening - and that is the FA Cup second-round game between non-league Grimsby and League One Shrewsbury.

Now it's Everton's turn to attack, with Gerard Deulofeu again giving Palace defenders twisted blood, swerving his hips away from three or four defenders.

  73. GREAT SAVE!

Connor Wickham has his header saved

Another Palace corner, which skipper Mile Jedinak nearly connects with, the ball comes back in from Bolasie and Connor Wickham gets a point-blank header that Tim Howard keeps out with his chest.

Great positioning from the Everton keeper, who didn't have much time to react.

  76. SHOWBOAT

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Gerard Deulofeu

Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu is not short of confidence and he produces a cheeky bit of skill, rolling the ball under his studs three times before back-heeling it past two Palace defenders and to team-mate Romelu Lukaku.

Nothing comes of it but plenty of cooing from the crowd.

  77. 'Barkley unlucky'

Who do you consider the Premier League's most under-rated foreign players - and why?

Ahmed: Mikel Arteta. Was Everton's talisman under Moyes and was a rock for Arsenal before Coquelin took over.

Paul McQuillan: Toby Alderweireld has been fantastic for Spurs this season.

Who do you consider the Premier League's most under-rated foreign players - and why?

JacobNT-D: Glenn Whelan and Geoff Cameron. Absolute rock in midfield and the most versatile man there is.

Blue: In all honesty, it has to be Giroud. He scores quite a lot but doesn't really get any credit.

  91. Palace can target Europe - Barkley

Everton v Crystal Palace (20:00 GMT)

More from Ross Barkley's interview in tonight's match programme and the midfielder says he has been impressed by Crystal Palace's season so far.

A point at Goodison Park this evening would lift the Eagles into sixth position and Barkley believes they can be contenders for European qualification.

"Alan Pardew has done a great job there and players like Yannick Bolasie and Yohan Cabaye can hurt any team in the Premier League.

"In the past, they've always been on people's mind when relegation has been discussed but they are now a well-established top-flight team and they'll be thinking of European qualification this season - and why shouldn't they?"

  92. Barkley 'thinking like a striker'

Everton v Crystal Palace (20:00 GMT)

Ross Barkley (below, left) has been an increasing influence on Everton this season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists, having netted only twice last season.

The England midfielder, who turned 22 on Saturday, says in tonight's match programme that he has made a big effort to get "tap-ins" as well as "worldies".

"Obviously, I have scored a few great goals from outside the box, but I have also been realising that there are more goals for the taking from inside the box," he said.

"Knowing that I was capable of shooting from distance meant I wasn't trying to get into the box before. I would just let our strikers do that. But now I know in the number 10 role I'm playing in, you have to be a midfielder but also think like a striker as well."

    Steve Bower

BBC football commentator at Goodison Park

    Romelu Lukaku

"With the two teams separated by just a point and both recently showing the kind of form they are capable of, this fixture is full of intrigue.

"Everton have begun to find consistency and goalscoring form and currently look an exciting proposition.

"Romelu Lukaku is in great goalscoring form with eight league goals in as many matches, ably assisted by the exciting talent of Gerard Deulofeu who is justifying the faith shown in him by Roberto Martinez.

"Palace are a real threat away from home though, and have already picked up more points on their travels than at Selhurst Park this season, and Everton will certainly show them healthy respect."

Everton won the last meeting between the sides - Romelu Lukaku netting the only goal at Selhurst Park in January.

It was Alan Pardew's first defeat as Palace manager.

As for Belgium striker Lukaku, he remains Everton's main threat and has scored eight goals in his past eight league matches.

Everton v Crystal Palace (20:00 GMT)

Crystal Palace have won their past two visits to Goodison Park, both of them 3-2.

Everton v Crystal Palace (20:00 GMT)

The FA Cup third round draw is taking place right now and Everton have been drawn at home to Dagenham and Redbridge or non-league Whitehawk.

A place in the top six of the Premier League is on offer for the winners tonight.

Palace, currently, eighth, actually only need a draw to climb to sixth.

Both sides should be feeling good - Everton (11th in the table) are unbeaten in six games in all competitions while Palace thrashed Newcastle 5-1 last time out.

  108. Louis van Gaal news conference

Wolfsburg v Manchester United (Tuesday, 19:45 GMT)

Bastian Schweinsteiger says United will be fine once they have a change in fortune.

“We’re doing an unbelievable job defensively but we have to be determined to score. I’m convinced we can change it," he says.

“We keep creating chances, we need a little bit of luck to score.”

    Bastian Schweinsteiger

German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is also taking part in the news conference and believes Manchester United can get the better of Wolfsburg again, having beaten them at Old Trafford in September.

He said: “There is no big pressure on us. We know we need to win - we can only think about beating Wolfsburg.

“We did it in Manchester and it won’t be easy but I am convinced that we will have a good game tomorrow.”

  110. Louis van Gaal news conference

Wolfsburg v Manchester United (Tuesday, 19:45 GMT)

Despite four goalless draws in nine matches, the message from Louis van Gaal is that his side will soon find the target.

He said: "I have the experience as a manager that the goals shall come, because when you are creating chances at the end you will score and finish those chances.

"It’s a matter of time and I hope we can prove that tomorrow.”

    Anthony Martial

With Wayne Rooney absent with an injured ankle, Van Gaal says Manchester United cannot rely on Anthony Martial.

“He’s very talented but only 20 years old. We must give him time - I’m convinced he’ll score at the right moments," says Van Gaal.

“You cannot expect a player of 20 years old to score in the Premier League every week.”

  112. Louis van Gaal news conference

Wolfsburg v Manchester United (Tuesday, 19:45 GMT)

    Louis van Gaal

Despite some mixed results recently, Louis van Gaal says he is happy with his side's performances.

"I am pleased with the squad, when I have to reconsider our season I will say our matches against Arsenal and Crystal Palace were the matches when we were not the better team," he says.

“I know that we must score goals. As a manager I know we must score but when you ask about the performance as a team, I am satisfied.”

  113. Louis van Gaal news conference

Wolfsburg v Manchester United (Tuesday, 19: 45 GMT)

Louis van Gaal's news conference has started and you can't argue with the Manchester United manager's opening statement.

"It is very important for the club and the players to continue in the Champions League," he says.

"You have to prove yourselves, as a club, as a team and as players. We can't rely on the result of the other game."

If PSV were beaten by CSKA Moscow tomorrow, United would go through even if they lost against Wolfsburg. But that's a big if.

  116. Louis van Gaal news conference

Wolfsburg v Manchester United (Tuesday, 19:45 GMT)

Manchester United came from behind to beat Wolfsburg 2-1 at Old Trafford in September but that was one of only two wins from their Champions League Group B campaign so far.

They have travelled to Germany without injured striker Wayne Rooney (ankle) and midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

Schneiderlin, 26, was forced off against West Ham with a hip problem.

United will also be without injured defenders Phil Jones (ankle) and Marcos Rojo (shoulder), and midfielder Ander Herrera (hamstring).

  117. Louis van Gaal news conference

Wolfsburg v Manchester United (Tuesday, 19:45 GMT)

It's been fairly uninspired fare at Manchester United recently with five 0-0 draws in their past nine games, most recently against West Ham at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday.

A goalless draw in their previous Champions League outing, at home to PSV two weeks ago, means the Dutch side would grab second spot from United if they draw or defeat CSKA Moscow on Tuesday and United fail to win in Wolfsburg.

If that came to pass, it would mean the Europa League in the new year for Louis van Gaal's side, as happened in 2011-12.

And they really don't want that.

  118. Good evening

    Louis van Gaal news conference

An early start to our live text coverage and while our main focus tonight will be the Premier League meeting between Everton and Crystal Palace at Goodison Park at 20:00 GMT, we begin by following Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal and his news conference before Tuesday's decisive Champions League tie in Germany against group leaders Wolfsburg.

With his side only a point ahead of third-placed PSV Eindhoven, a win may be required to avoid a group-stage exit from Europe's premier club competition.

    No pressure, Louis.
