The Barca boys join Real Madrid at the top of La Liga. As so it continues. They both have 24 points after 10 games. Real lead on goal difference.

Roma's efforts to get back into this match have been made all the more difficult by the sending off of Miralem Pjanic. The defender was deemed to have intentionally handled the ball outside the area and was shown a second yellow then the inevitable red.

Barca full-back Jordi Alba nearly fluked a goal, but his intended cross from the left, which turned into a shot, flew a foot high of the Getafe bar.

Inter keeper Samir Handanovic has been in superb form tonight - the big man does brilliantly to prevent Edin Dzeko's header from creeping in.

We have had about four minutes of play in the second half in Milan. There hasn't been any action of note, although Inter goalscorer Gary Medel has gone off injured.

As things stand Inter will replace Roma at the top.

Barca full-back Dani Alves tries to grab number three but sees his angled shot from Neymar's cross safely collected by Vicente Guaita.

Prior to the second goal, Getafe showed that they are dangerous on the break - the problem for them is that they don't have a Neymar, Sergi Roberto or Luis Suarez to finish off a move. Handy, those three.

Pele said that Neymar needs to concentrate on his all-round play. Why Pele, why? When you have a Brazil forward who can watch a ball travel 25 metres in the air and then hit a first-time placed volley past the keeper at the near post, why should he even bother thinking about adding to his game.

That's right. Don't rub your eyes, the "Chilean Pitbull" Gary Medel has scored.The ex-Cardiff City defensive midfielder ran on to a lay-off from ex-Man City man Stevan Jovetic and fired in a skiddy shot that beat Roma's Arsenal on-loan keeper Wojciech Szczesny.

Getafe are conceding free-kicks left, right and centre.  This inswinging free-kick from the left is punched away by keeper Vicente Guaita. It doesn't look like this will stay 0-1.

I was typing this little entry just moments before Barca scored.

Earlier, Ivan Perisic went agonisingly close for Inter, cracking an angled shot that was pushed away by Wojciech Szczesny. At the other end Danilo D'Ambrosio flung himself in the way of Edin Dzeko to stop the ex-man City striker from scoring.

Forget the goal. Although it was a nice finish by Luis Suarez. CHECK OUT SERGI ROBERTO'S ASSIST!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!

Neymar cruises down the left crosses mid-height to Roberto on the edge of the area who first time finds Suarez with an angled backheel pass. I don't quite understand how he did it.

Suarez finished collected the ball and finished low at the near post.

Neymar drifts closer to the goal in the left of the area, he sells a dummy brilliantly and tees up team-mate Luis Suarez who pretty much air-kicks from six yards out.

Meanwhile, in Milan....

Leaders Roma and possible leaders-to-be haven't created too much in these opening moments. The Rome side have had a bit more of the possession - long way to go in that one.

Now it's all very nice from Barcelona, but the final balls from full-backs Dani Alves and Jordi Alba have been shocking. Actually, why are they even crossing the ball? It should be played along the turf. That's the Barca way surely!

Juve up to 10th in Serie A

Before we kick off a Serie A match has just finished - in fact it was the Turin derby between the "initially struggling but improving of late" champions Juventus and Torino.

The scoreline was 2-1 to Juve thanks to a 90the minute goal by midfielder Juan Cuadrado, on loan from Chelsea. Juve are now up to 10th, level on 15 points with Torino.

Napoli and the Florence side play on Sunday, leaving Inter with the chance to usurp their rivals ce soir.

"The team is flying right now. We've got another match coming up on Saturday. Roma will be a big test in our home stadium," said Inter keeper Samir Handanovic.

The hosts have 10 points from their nine games and sit in the lower section of mid-table, while Luis Enrique's side can join Real Madrid on 24 points, after they posted a 3-1 win over Las Palmas, with victory.

Should be a doddle for the Catalan club eh?

'Neymar? Not quite good enough yet'

Brazil forward Neymar has been an integral part of Barcelona's forward line ever since the 23-year-old joined the Catalan club in 2013.

He has scored 39 goals in 56 La Liga appearances, but that's not good enough for one Brazilian legend - Pele.

"Neymar is a forward, he plays up front. It is a specific role. He does not track back, he does not organise, he is not involved in the build-up," Pele told Placar magazine.

But Pele, what if he helps Barca win a second treble this season? Pele? Pele? Why have you covered your ears?

Anyway, let's see whether Neymar... er... pulls his socks up tonight?
