Gouano tries to just hold off the advancing Blackburn attackers and as Amos runs out to smash the ball clear it goes straight into Prince but out into touch.

Bolton enjoying the majority of possession the opening stages of this 45 minutes though.

GOAL (Onyedinma)
Southend 0-3 Millwall
Right on the stroke of half-time Millwall look like they've already sewn up the three points away at Southend in League One.
The hosts only half-clear a corner and Steve Morison finds some space in the area to fire in a shot which goalkeeper Dan Bentley can only parry into the grateful path of Fred Onyedinma, who tucks home.
The ref blows his half-time whistle and Southend have it all to do. Ruthless from Millwall.

GOAL (Cummings)
Southend 0-2 Millwall
What a freak goal we've just had in League One!
Millwall defender Shaun Cummings overhits a cross into the Southend area and has goalkeeper Dan Bentley scrambling backwards.
The ball then hits the post and goes in via a touch from Bentley. He will not want to see that one again and it might even be classed as an own goal...
HALF-TIME
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
An entertaining half with endeavour and purpose from both sides.
Bolton's Zach Clough went closest to opening the scoring when he struck the post, with Gary Madine then wasting an opportunity with the follow-up.
Ben Marshall's had a couple of long-range strikes for Blackburn, with Danny Guthrie's close-range effort that went over probably the best of their efforts.
SUBSTITUTION

Josh Vela again caught in possession, but he might have had a tug on his back.
Blackburn steal it, charge forward and Craig Conway lays in Jordan Rhodes but Darren Pratley and Prince Gouano both throw their bodies at his shot, and it hits Pratley to stop it heading towards goal.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Liam Feeney, again, looking like Bolton's best attacking outlet.
A long ball over the top puts him behind the Blackburn defence but his drilled cross is too far ahead of the advancing Gary Madine who was the only Trotters player in support.
GOAL (Martin)
Southend 0-1 Millwall
After what has been a pretty poor opening, Millwall have the lead at Roots Hall against Southend in League One.
Lions defender Joe Martin's effort goes in off the post, but Shrimpers boss Phil Brown is not happy - he is claiming the ball went out of play in the build up.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Bangaly-Fode Koita wins an excellent flick on to his strike partner Jordan Rhodes, but the Scotland international cries out in frustration as he loses the ball.
Just one goal in eight games for the usually prolific Rhodes and he hasn't had much of a sniff so far.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
This game has been bubbling along nicely in terms of some meaningful challenges.
Bolton captain Darren Pratley and Blackburn's Hope Akpan the latest to clash in the centre of the pitch.
And elsewhere
We're midway through the first half at Roots Hall as Southend host Millwall in the Football League's other early kick-off and it remains goalless.
Neither side have managed an effort on target yet in what has been quite a scrappy opening in League One.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Both teams are getting some joy down the right today.
Craig Conway with a couple of bursts down the right for Blackburn and gets over a cross but David Wheater and Prince Gouano have marshalled the Bolton defence pretty well so far and deal with it.

Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Chance for Blackburn and it comes from a Josh Vela error.
They press the Bolton midfielder high up the pitch, Hope Akpan steals it off him and feeds Craig Conway but his cross cannot beat the first man and the hosts clear.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Another push on Gary Madine, but this time it's Shane Duffy's centre-back partner Grant Hanley.
Bolton have a free-kick a good 35 yards out on the right wing and Dean Moxey's left foot curls it just over the advancing runners.

One for Rovers boss Paul Lambert to consider with the January transfer window just around the corner.

More joy for Bolton winger Liam Feeney down the right.
His deep cross finds Gary Madine at the back post and he nods it back into the six yard box, but no one reads his cushioned header and Blackburn clear.

Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Danny Guthrie will be disappointed with his strike here.
Bolton fail to clear a corner twice and the ball falls kindly to the midfielder but his rasping shot flies over the bar from about 10 yards out.
And elsewhere...
We also have an early kick-off in League One today, with Southend hosting Milllwall.
With just over 10 minutes gone at Roots Hall it remains goalless.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
End to end stuff right now, with both teams looking dangerous on the counter attack.
First Bolton's Liam Feeney has a dart down the right but his stood up cross is just over everyone. From the throw out, Craig Conway races up the pitch but is tackled as he reaches the edge of the area.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Bolton now with some defending to do of their own.
A succession of Blackburn crosses come in at David Wheater, who booms a couple of headers away.

Liam Feeney's delivery is towards Rob Holding but Blackburn's defence holds out to clear.
It's been a much improved performance so far from Neil Lennon's side.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
A driving run from Darren Pratley sets Bolton up for another attack.
Josh Vela's strike from way out is deflected and the corner will allow some more Wanderers pressure...
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Young right-back Rob Holding as a big throw on him and he throw a couple down the down the touchline before appeals for handball inside the Blackburn box.
Gary Madine fouled though and Rovers have a free-kick.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Blackburn now just taking the sting out of the recent Bolton pressure and have enjoyed a good bit of possession.
Ben Marshall has another go from outside the box but slices across it horribly and it's no way near testing Ben Amos.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Bolton are not playing like a team sat rooted to the bottom of the Championship.

How have Bolton not scored here?!
A brilliant cross from Dean Moxey finds a stretching Zach Clough whose effort hits the post.
It comes out to Gary Madine who takes a touch and scuffs a shot which is cleared off the line by Marcus Olsson.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Nothing bothering with that corner.
As it's cleared, Shane Duffy clatters through the back of Gary Madine and Bolton have a free-kick just inside the Blackburn half.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
All Rovers at the minute.
Good link-up play between Ben Marshall and Marcus Olsson sees the Swedish full-back deliver to the far post but Bolton head it out for a corner...
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
First effort of the match and it goes to Blackburn.
A good bit of skill from Ben Marshall but the winger's drive from outside the box is a couple of yards over the bar.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
First chance for Liam Feeney to run at the Blackburn defence and he carries the ball well to the right wing position but his cross is poor.

The pitch has the look of beginning to turn in the winter months with one or two slightly bare patches.

He drops a couple of shoulders to try and work a yard of space but is forced to shift the ball onto his weaker left foot and it's a tame effort into the side netting.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
It's been all Rovers for the past couple of minutes.
Craig Conway and Doneil Henry combine well down the right again but after a couple of crosses it falls to Hope Akpan who smashes over.
CLOSE!
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Shane Duffy with Blackburn's best effort of the game.
After Dean Moxey is booked for his sliding challenge on Craig Conway, the Blackburn winger gets up to curl the ball into the box and finds the glancing head of Duffy but it goes a couple of yards wide.

Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Nearly a comedy of errors between Bolton pair Ben Amos and Prince Gouano.
Gouano tries to just hold off the advancing Blackburn attackers and as Amos runs out to smash the ball clear it goes straight into Prince but out into touch.
YELLOW CARD
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Moments later, Hope Akpan joins Mark Davies in the book for scything down Josh Vela. No doubt about that one.
YELLOW CARD
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Mark Davies is the first to go in the book in the Lancashire derby.
He takes a backheel into the box, his touch is heavy and then with two players going down he collapses a little too easy for the referee and is booked from simulation.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
We're yet to break into some of the free flowing football of the first half.
Bolton enjoying the majority of possession the opening stages of this 45 minutes though.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Couple of efforts for Liam Feeney.
His first effort is left-footed and cannons back off the defender, but the Bolton winger then strikes with his stronger right foot over the bar.
KICK-OFF
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Zach Clough and Mark Davies get the second half under way.
Clough immediately drives towards Blackburn, trying to catch the visitors out, but he's stopped about 30 yards from goal.

Story of the half
HT: Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
While Spiderman and Batman entertain the crowd at half-time in Bolton, I kid you not, these at the stats from the first 45 minutes.

Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Bangaly-Fode Koita is hobbling badly so Nathan Delfouneso is sent on to partner Jordan Rhodes.
It's Delfouneso's first appearance under Paul Lambert, time to make a good impression.

Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Kevin Kilbane
Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 live
One for Rovers boss Paul Lambert to consider with the January transfer window just around the corner.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
More joy for Bolton winger Liam Feeney down the right.
His deep cross finds Gary Madine at the back post and he nods it back into the six yard box, but no one reads his cushioned header and Blackburn clear.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
You can't argue with 'Super' John McGinlay.
Bolton have played with some real purpose so far this afternoon, with Zach Clough hitting the post and then Gary Madine's follow up their best efforts so far.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
There's lots of energy and purpose in this performance, Liam Feeney fizzing in a cross low now the latest of the attacks.
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn

HITS THE WOODWORK
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Bolton 0-0 Blackburn
Nothing to report in the opening exchanges with some neat passing from either side in the middle.
The pitch has the look of beginning to turn in the winter months with one or two slightly bare patches.
