  1. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

    Junior Stanislas

The Sunderland fightback had started around now against Liverpool yesterday but if Bournemouth produce something similar, I'll supply the office biscuits for the rest of the season.

The Cherries haven't had a shot on target in this half.

  2. SUBSTITUTION

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

That slightly embarrassing act is Alexis Sanchez's last of the game. On comes Kieran Gibbs, who takes up his position on the left side of midfield.

  3. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

Simon Francis has just absolutely done Alexis Sanchez, nicking the ball and putting the former Barcelona man on his backside.

Never thought that would be a sentence I would be writing when I watched Francis knocking about in League One a couple of years ago.

  4. SUBSTITUTION

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

It has not been the fairytale reunion with Arsenal for Benik Afobe. He hasn't made an impact on this game and his time is up. Lewis Grabban replaces him for the final 15 minutes or so.

  5. Gary Neville's Valencia goes again

    Gary Neville

Gary Neville's Valencia have just kicked off against Real Betis, with the former Manchester United man looking to pick up his first league win.

Find out if he can manage it here.

    BBC Radio Solent

Ex-Bournemouth defender John Williams at the Vitality Stadium

    Joshua King

"You feel Bournemouth will still get a big chance, it's been building up. Josh King and Junior Stanislas have looked very hungry since coming on - maybe something will fall to one of them."

  7. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

Junior Stanislas has the ball just outside the area, he has options but decides to go it alone with an effort not too dissimilar to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's in the first half.

The shot deflects off Laurent Koscielny and briefly looks like it may catch out Petr Cech, but no danger in the end. He is all over it.

  8. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

    ...which is cleared.

    As you were.

  9. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

Not one of Bournemouth's crosses from open play into the Arsenal box have found a Bournemouth player. The Cherries have had most of the possession in this half, but they are running out of ideas when they get towards the Arsenal box.

    Meanwhile, Arsenal have a corner...

  10. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

  11. SUBSTITUTION

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

A change for Arsenal now too as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, scorer of the second goal, comes off, with Francis Coquelin.

Coquelin slots into midfield alongside Mathieu Flamini, while Aaron Ramsey is now operating on the right side of the three behind Olivier Giroud.

  12. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

    BBC Radio Solent

Ex-Bournemouth defender John Williams at the Vitality Stadium

    Matt Richie

"It's starting to go the home side's way here, they just need to confirm it with a goal. The clinical moment hasn't arrived yet but - dare I say it - it's coming - they're getting closer and closer..."

  13. SUBSTITUTION

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

That shocker of a shot is Dan Gosling's last action of the game as he is replaced by Josh King. Matt Ritchie, also guilty of some wayward finishing, is replaced by Junior Stanislas.

  14. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

Definitely a much better showing from Bournemouth in this half, but still lacking in the final third as a Matt Ritchie free-kick is headed away by Nacho Monreal before Dan Gosling makes a mess of his shot and floats an effort into the stands behind the goal.

  15. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

Aaron Ramsey has been excellent today, having a hand in both goals. He sets Mesut Ozil away with a chipped ball towards the box and the German wriggles down to the byeline, gets goalside of Adam Smith and pings a low ball across the face of goal, but Charlie Daniels is there to sweep up the danger.

Ian Funnell: Arsenal have gone back to walking pace and standing off them. Shouldn't be letting them back in this...

  17. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

    Olivier Giroud

Arsenal's defence has looked a little suspect, but they are always a danger in attack as Olivier Giroud meets a Mesut Ozil corner, but directs his header too close to Artur Boruc.

  18. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

Arsenal are in danger of letting Bournemouth back into this as the hosts carve out another opportunity as Dan Gosling's pass for Matt Ritchie creeps through the defence, but the Bournemouth winger is offside.

  19. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

    BBC Radio Solent

Ex-Bournemouth defender John Williams at the Vitality Stadium

"An awful lot better from Bournemouth. They needed to start moving the ball a lot quicker than they did in the opening 45 minutes  - and they're doing it now. It's been a good positive start to the second half."

  20. CLOSE!

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

    Adam Smith shoots

Best moment of the game from Bournemouth as Adam Smith, Matt Ritchie and Dan Gosling exchanges passes on the right side of the area. A chance on goal presents itself when Gosling's clever ball gives Smith sight of goal and he hooks a shot into the sidenetting.

    Better from the Cherries.
