  1. Dons miss out on Tansey

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes was "surprised and disappointed" that the club's bid for midfielder Greg Tansey was rejected by Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The Dons thought they had triggered a release clause for the 27-year-old with a £200,000 offer.

However, Inverness have released a statement on their website saying that Tansey "is happy in Inverness and that he had elected to remain at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium".

"Simon Church in for a debut in the most important of circumstances in a very attack-minded Aberdeen side.

"Presumably Derek McInnes thinks there's vulnerability in the Celtic defence and most would agree.

"Scott Brown starts which should at least provide the visitors with some drive and leadership in the central area.

"Not the best surface but this has all the makings of a memorable clash."
