This time, Ivan Rakitic wriggles between two players before curling a shot straight at Valencia keeper Juame Domenech.

Finally Barcelona put some pressure on the Valencia defence as Ivan Rakitic's free-kick is deflected behind for a corner, from which Aderlan Santos gets ahead of Thomas Vermaelen, to knock the ball behind for another corner, but his one comes to nothing.

No more goals for Alvaro Negredo as he is replaced by 20-year-old midfielder Zakaria Bakkali.
