The title race just got interesting (if it wasn't already)

Big, big goal in the game between Leicester and Swansea. Which way has it gone? You'll just have to go here to find out.

That's it from me. See you later.

Player reaction

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, speaking to BBC Sport: "It was a great feeling. This is what I have worked all year for. It is massive for me.

"When we watch the video back we will think we should have won. We were the better team and played some great stuff leading up to the final third but I think we should be more clinical."

On Euro 2016 chances: "Of course I want to go and be involved. I feel I am ready to push for that place. Now I am on the pitch with the first team, we have three more games left so hopefully I can get more minutes."

Manager reaction

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce, speaking to Match of the Day: "I think in the first half, even though we didn't play well in possession we hit the post and there was the penalty we didn't get. In the second half, but for Petr Cech and the ball going the wrong side of the post we could have won.

"We did enough to win 1-0 which would have been massive for us but we accept the point and we are out of the bottom three. Hopefully we can stay out now.

"With four games to go it is in our hands now. Our performances are good - excellent last week and very good today - hopefully we can get enough points to stay out of trouble."

On the decision to not award a penalty to Sunderland: "Per Mertesacker turns his back on the ball and puts his arms out and stops what looks a certain goal. For me it is a blatant penalty that Mike Dean has missed."

Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe, speaking to Match of the Day: "We take the point, it is an important point for us.

"It has been a good week. We are fighting and everyone is sticking together. We have cup finals coming up now, every game is important. No game is easy."

Manager reaction

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, speaking to Match of the Day: "I think our first half was very good. The second half is always more difficult when you play Sunday-Thursday-Sunday. We created less but could still have scored. We should have been in front in the first half.

"It leaves us having to win the next game as always. We fight against teams who fight not to go down so we prepare to fight again next Saturday."

Paul Thompson: Four games left and it's now in Sunderland's hands. Big Sam would've taken that when he took over! Huge point for them.

3 - Sunderland have kept three clean sheets in their last four top-flight games after conceding in each of the 16 before that. Solidify.

Ex-Sunderland defender Gary Bennett at the Stadium of Light

"Sunderland had more than Arsenal over the 90 minutes. A lot of people might say a draw is a fair result but I think the home side edged it. A little bit of luck and they'd be coming away with three points, and that will give them belief for the rest of the season."

Sunderland and Sam Allardyce are survival experts. The Black Cats have pulled themselves out of trouble in each of the last three seasons. Would you bet against them doing it again?

FULL-TIME

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

All over. Big point for Sunderland as they move out of the relegation zone.

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal have the ball at the moment. Time for one last chance on goal?

YELLOW CARD

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

A couple of flashes of the yellow card from Mike Dean as Laurent Koscielny and Wahbi Khazri both go in the book for fouls.

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

...Lamine Kone hooks an effort towards goal, just over!

Tense finish.

Up goes the fourth official's board...four minutes of additional time to be played as Younes Kaboul wins a corner for Sunderland...

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Very emphatic finger pointing at the Arsenal half by Sam Allardyce. He wants his players to get forward but instead they are dropping back. Lots of late Arsenal pressure at the moment.

GREAT SAVE!

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Questionable attempt at a clearance aside, Vito Mannone has had a great game and he saves well from Alexis Sanchez's low effort. Still Arsenal come forward...

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Aaron Ramsey's chip forward is hooked away by DeAndre Yedlin but Arsenal pick up the ball again. Sunderland have some defending to do.

SUBSTITUTION

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Here he comes! Jack Wilshere is on for the final seven minutes, replacing Mesut Ozil to make his first competitive appearance since May last year.

Late Wilshere winner on the cards?

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Danny Welbeck, edge of the area, knocks the ball away from one defender and has time to shoot...straight at Vito Mannone.

Jack Wilshere is getting ready for his first appearance of the season.

CLOSE!

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Lovely footwork from Duncan Watmore and he has Petr Cech diving at full stretch. This could go either way.

Will Smith: Another insipid and uninspired display from Arsenal. Players do not look bothered, substitutions 10 mins too late and no fight or passion.

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Panic stations at the back for Sunderland. Petr Cech launches the ball forward for Danny Welbeck to chase and Vito Mannone races out his area to head clear. He misjudges the bounce and the ball skims his head and it's anyones. Younes Kaboul is there just before a charging Alexis Sanchez and Sunderland escape.

SUBSTITUTION

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Second change for Sunderland as former Gunner Seb Larsson replaces Jan Kirchhoff.

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Theo Walcott spots Alexis Sanchez steaming into the area and fires in a cross from the right. It's decent, but is just beyond the Arsenal forward.

Swansea also make two changes as Wayne Routledge and Leon Britton come in for Alberto Paloschi and Jefferson Montero.

Swansea: Fabianski, Rangel, Fernandez, Williams (c), Taylor, Britton, Fer, Cork, Sigurdsson, Routledge, Ayew

You can follow live text commentary of that game with Tom Rostance here.

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal have not had a single shot on target in this half. Sunderland have done their job well but that's poor stuff from the Gunners. A shame after an encouraging display against West Brom. Still, plenty of time for all that to change though.

Daniel Woodley: Sunderland are missing too many gilt-edged chances here. It won't be long before Arsenal make them pay.

SUBSTITUTION

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal fans on my Twitter feed have been crying out for changes and Arsene Wenger duly obliges. Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck are on for Alex Iwobi and the disapppointing Olivier Giroud.

Can they make a difference?

BBC Newcastle

Ex-Sunderland defender Gary Bennett at the Stadium of Light

"How has Kone missed that? He just stopped!

"I tell you what, Sunderland are having a right go here. When you see Arsene Wenger off his seat and into his technical area you know his side have got problems."

CLOSE!

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

What a chance! A corner is whipped in and through to Lamine Kone, but he looks more like he is out for an afternoon stroll than attacking a set piece and seems genuinely surprised as the ball drops in front of him. He fails to react in time and the ball bounces out for a goal kick.

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

Roars of encouragement as Sunderland come forward again, Lee Cattermole's cross just out of reach of Yann M'Vila before Jermain Defoe is away on the right but his cross is cut out.

All Sunderland at the moment.

Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal

BBC Newcastle

Ex-Sunderland defender Gary Bennett at the Stadium of Light

"How's your luck?! It was a great pass by Cattermole, and how clever is Jermain Defoe there. A little flick and Petr Cech was beaten, but it just crept wide. Instinctive."
