Goodbye

Scotland 1-0 Denmark

Scotland make it two wins from two friendlies as Gordon Strachan seeks to assess what he has at his disposal ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualification campaign.

Matt Ritchie's strike following a calamitous mistake by Denmark skipper Daniel Agger secures victory against the profligate visitors.

You can read Tom English's match report here. We'll have further reaction and Willie Miller's player rater on our website later.

Thanks for your company tonight. We put the national side in cold storage for a bit and return our attention to domestic matters at the weekend.

Hope you can join us then.

First time in nine years we have won three in a row. Stop moaning and show a bit of positivity.

You take the result. They did ride their luck a bit. It keeps the momentum going but, if you're a fan here tonight, there wasn't much to get excited about.

#bbcsportscot We're being too negative again. Was a courageous away performance in Prague and we've won tonight with a very weakened team

Scotland boss Gordon Strachan

"Our team spirit kept us in it: good defending and good goalkeeping but they were the better side. They should've gone to the European Championship. I've got a couple of young players coming through.

"Players have to be playing regularly; only Alan Hutton bucks that trend."

Let's take that luck into the next [qualification] campaign. If you get that good fortune if you come up against a team that squanders so many chances and dominates the game - and doesn't put you to the sword - then you'll take that. But it wasn't a good performance.

If that's our best back 4 then Kane, Vardy, Rooney and Sturridge will run riot in the qualifiers!!

Well done Scotland - as an experiment it was very good. Wee Gordon Strachan will be much better informed now. Progress is good.

#bbcsportscot Winning is really good. I just hope the day will come where we dont have to hang on for dear life for each win.

Grinding out 1-0 friendlies isn't an achievement, getting into an international tournament is. Seems the SFA think otherwise! #bbcsportscot

18k at Hampden, why this wasn't played at Easter Road or Pittodrie is crazy #bbcsportscot

FULL-TIME Scotland 1-0 Denmark

Matt Ritchie's strike early in the first half secures victory for Scotland against a profligate Denmark side.

Gordon Strachan may have wanted a more convincing display but two friendly victories and two clean sheets.

Hope springs eternal?

Tierney has an enviable talent. The way how he plays the game is absolutely impressive and fantastic for such a young lad. #bbcsportscot

"Scotland look like recording a second impressive result within a matter of days, without putting in great performances. If they take anything from these friendlies, it should be how to grind out these results when they really matter."

Tierney or Mulgrew. It's a no-brainer. Scotland played further up the park in the first half. Mulgrew has been caught in possession or miss placed his pass every time he has been on the ball.

Very poor performance Scotland. If Denmark weren't so poor in front of goal we would be easily beaten.

#bbcsportscot Craig Gordon back in top Scotland form. Scotland have the best pool of keepers around now. Who would have guessed that..

YELLOW CARD

Scotland substitute Liam Bridcutt earns a yellow card but it could be red after a two-footed challenge on defender Erik Sviatchenko.

Both sets of players lock horns before referee Svein Oddvar Moen restores calm.

Sviatchenko dusts himself down and we're back under way.

CLOSE!

Scotland 1-0 Denmark

Incredibly, Scotland come within a whisker of doubling their lead. Ikechi Anya slaloms past a couple of challenges before whipping a ball in from the left and Matt Ritchie's goalbound effort is brilliantly blocked by Christensen a couple of yards from the line!

GREAT SAVE!

Scotland 1-0 Denmark

It'll be a quiet flight home for the Danes if they fail to find an equaliser. Craig Gordon comes to Scotland's rescue with a cracking double save to deny Eriksen and Braithwaite.

Seconds later, Jorgensen blazes over after the Scots are carved open again...

Scotland 1-0 Denmark

Denmark head coach Age Hareide comes to the edge of his technical area to bellow tactical instructions at his troops.

The Norwegian wants an equaliser.

YELLOW CARD

Scotland 1-0 Denmark

The combative John McGinn has his name taken in referee Svein Oddvar Moen's big, black book for clipping Højbjerg.

Scotland 1-0 Denmark

Denmark are dominating possession but are not good enough to break Scotland down once they get to the 20-yard mark. It is a wee bit better by Scotland in the last few minutes, but there is no drive or ambition.

@zoom15000 When will this incessant moaning end? Strachan doesn't fancy Wallace and there are many superior options.#bbcsportscot

#bbcsportscot Poor by scotland. Loss of concentration/composure by whittaker. Denmark are the better side but lacking final ball.

Scotland 1-0 Denmark

Somewhere in London, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will have his head in his hands on the couch.

Christian Eriksen, in space 25 yards from goal, blazes over the bar when you'd suspect the midfielder to find the top corner.

Scotland's goal continues to lead a charmed life; nevertheless, they lead courtesy of that early Matt Ritchie strike.

CLOSE!

Scotland 1-0 Denmark

Another attack by the Danes and another howitzer from Højbjerg that whistles past the post. Craig Gordon dives this time and looks to have it covered, anyway.

Scotland 1-0 Denmark

Denmark are enjoying more and more of the ball in this second half and Højbjerg sends a shot whistling narrowly over the bar with Craig Gordon looking on nervously.

Can Scotland find a spark to double their lead and keep the resurgent Danes at bay?
