Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea

So, Liverpool's late goal sees them keep up their momentum under Klopp ahead of the Europa League final a week tonight. The two goalscorers, Hazard and Benteke, team-mates with Belgium, walk off the pitch together sharing a joke and no doubt a word or two about the Euros.

Thanks for your company - head on over to the main live for reaction to this and tonight's other matches. Goodbye.

FULL-TIME

Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea

And that's it. All in all, a fair result.

GOAL - Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea

Christian Benteke

The Reds are level, and you have to say they deserve it. Sheyi Ojo swings over an excellent searching cross, a backpedalling Asmir Begovic makes a complete Horlicks of it and flaps the ball to Christian Benteke, who heads into an empty net from two yards out.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Great save! Chelsea charge up the other end and Eden Hazard's superb through ball puts Pedro clean through, but Mignolet spreads himself brilliantly. Hazard has been majestic tonight...

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

And immediately Ojo has a huge chance! Joe Allen floats a lovely diagonal ball into the ball and the substitute creeps around the back post, but can only fire his volley across the face of goal.

SUBSTITUTION

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Final change for Liverpool. Kolo Toure makes way for Sheyi Ojo.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Asmir Begovic, who has been pretty solid tonight, makes a good claim of a high cross under pressure from Christian Benteke. Not easy that.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Jurgen Klopp has his head in his hands. One of those nights for Liverpool. So far...

SUBSTITUTION

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Double change for Liverpool - Christian Benteke and Joe Allen on for James Milner and Adam Lallana.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Emre Can fires a low sidefoot shot from distance, but Asmir Begovic is comfortably behind it.

SUBSTITUTION

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Bertrand Traore is off, and another youngster, striker Tammy Abraham, takes his place.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Liverpool creating all the chances now. A deep cross finds Firmino at the back post and his side-foot volley is goal-bound but Mikel blocks it on the line.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Ooh, another decent opportunity for the Reds, who are turning the screw at the moment. Begovic punches away a corner but doesn't get enough distance on it and it drops to Adam Lallana, but he fires wide on the volley.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Two huge chances for Liverpool in the space of two minutes! First Daniel Sturridge is sprung through on goal by Adam Lallana's pass but Begovic stands tall and makes the save. Then from the corner Philippe Coutinho floats an inch-perfect cross onto the head of Kolo Toure five yards out, but the defender completely fluffs it.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Almost a heart-in-mouth moment for Asmir Begovic as he sees a teasing cross drift over his head, but John Obi Mikel is in there to clear up the danger. He's looked surprisingly untroubled at centre-back so far...

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Eden Hazard is at the heart of everything that's good in this match. Once again he dances through the Liverpool defence and fires in a low shot - Mignolet can only parry it and Bertrand Traore almost snaffles the rebound.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

That's better from Daniel Sturridge. Some nice skills on the edge of the area, including a clever drag-back, lure Cesar Azpilicueta into a foul. But James Milner, Assist King, overhits the free kick. Poor quality second half so far.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Emre Can makes a great, lung-busting run out of defence, but then gives the ball away with a poor pass. Chelsea on top at the start of the second half.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Hazard is at it again, bamboozling Liverpool defenders. He draws an outstretched leg from Kolo Toure and tumbles over it to win a free-kick. The set piece comes to nothing.

KICK-OFF

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Ready for more? Second half under way.

HALF-TIME

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Nope, it comes to nothing, and that's the interval. Chelsea good value for their lead.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Good foraging by Can and he earns a free kick on the edge of the area. One last chance for Liverpool before the break...

YELLOW CARD

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Emre Can with a cynical tug-back on Eden Hazard and that is a yellow all day, every day.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Hazard is mesmeric tonight. His close control is phenomenal. Firmino goes through the back of him and is lucky not to see yellow. Pedro whacks the free kick wide.

CLOSE!

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Big chance for young Bertrand Traore. He's slipped in by a lovely Fabregas pass and bears down on the keeper. He then cuts back inside, taking Mignolet out of the game, but can't curl his finish into the empty net from a tight angle. Probably should have scored.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Daniel Sturridge hasn't looked sharp yet tonight. An attempted backheel goes awry when he treads on the ball. D'oh.

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Incredible from Eden Hazard, His balance was absolutely sublime there as he beat three men with nothing more than a few drops of the shoulder. Liverpool need to respond, and Coutinho shows some urgency when he stings Begovic's gloves.

GOAL - Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Eden Hazard

Tedium very much broken. This is an absolutely superb goal from Eden Hazard. He picks up the ball with his back to goal 30 yards out, turns, glides past three men, and passes the ball nonchalantly into the bottom corner. Brilliant.

Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Dejan Lovren throws himself headlong to turn Pedro's cross behind. Chelsea can't make the corner count. Tedium setting in here...

Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Neither team afraid to try their luck from distance this evening. This time it's Chelsea's Eden Hazard with a swerving low drive that Simon Mignolet has to be alert to get down to.

Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Roberto Firmino is in! Great channel ball by Sturridge to release the Brazilian, but the angle of the pass forces him wide and by the time he's rounded the keeper, he's run out of room and can only fire into the side netting.

Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Dejan Lovren is brimming with confidence at the moment. He has a crack from 20 yards out wide on the right - not a bad effort, it flies just over.

Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Pedro is playing in a mask this evening after suffering a broken nose in a "mystery incident at his home". The mind boggles. Anyway, he does brilliantly to embark on a mazy run at the heart of the Liverpool defence, but his shot is well blocked.

Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

It's all gone a bit scrappy. The tireless James Milner slides in and wins the ball for Liverpool in midfield. The Reds having the better of possession so far.

Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Bertrand Traore plays a lovely one-two with Cesar Azpilicueta and bursts down the byeline - but hang on, he's offside. Late call, but the right one.

Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Dejan Lovren up from the back when Liverpool win a corner, but he glances his header wide.

Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

A first sight of goal for Bertrand Traore after being slipped in by Eden Hazard, but Alberto Moreno gets across well and takes all the sting out of the shot.

Adam Lallana fires in a fierce daisy-cutter from 25 yards that Begovic can only parry. Philippe Coutinho is wide with the follow-up.

Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Liverpool win a corner and Roberto Firmino almost comes to grief attempting an overhead kick. Would certainly have tested Begovic if he'd connected...
