So it's over to you, Middlesbrough, Brighton and Hull. Burnley have done their bit.

Scott Arfield's first-minute goal was enough for them to grind out a win against Leeds, who have now picked up just one point from their last four games.

How important will those three points be to Burnley in a few weeks' time? Time will tell, but a win can't hurt!

Thanks for joining us for this one - all the best to you and whichever team you support this weekend.

Don't forget to follow the rest of today's football action. We'll see you again soon.

FT: Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Burnley goalscorer Scott Arfield tells Sky Sports:

"When you start so quickly and energised, you think you can go on, but they came here and made it difficult for us.

"It was everything we knew it was going to be."

Burnley defender Ben Mee tells Sky Sports: "Sometimes you have to grind results out.

"We'll enjoy the weekend. We've got some massive games coming up, that we'll relish and enjoy."

FT: Burnley 1-0 Leeds

That's 18 games unbeaten in the league now for Burnley and 13 in all competitions. They weren't at their best today, but they've still won, and don't people say that's how you win titles?

FULL-TIME

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

That's it! Burnley move four points clear at the top! It's a vital win for Sean Dyche's side.

CLOSE!

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

What. A. Miss.

Burnley's Ashley Barnes has shot wide from seven yards when the goal was gaping. Inexplicable stuff.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Leeds haven't given up yet - Chris Wood cushions a header towards Tom Adeyemi, but the substitute can't get to the ball before Burnley keeper Tom Heaton.

The home fans have just two more minutes of nail-biting to do.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Lewis Cook tries a shot from range for Leeds but doesn't connect with it as well as he would have hoped and it angles over, into the stands.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

We are into five minutes of stoppage time. Burnley want the whistle as soon as possible.

SUBSTITUTION (Burnley)

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Andre Gray goes off to warm applause and is replaced by the former scorer of wonder goals for Portsmouth, Matt Taylor.

SUBSTITUTION (Leeds)

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Stuart Dallas is replaced by Alex Mowatt for Leeds. Less than three minutes of normal time remain.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Back to serious matters - Burnley are five minutes plus stoppage time away from moving four points clear at the top of the Championship. Can they hold on? They're having a better spell at the moment, after a nervy half.

SUBSTITUTION (Leeds)

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Former Birmingham City and Cardiff midfielder Tom Adeyemi comes on for Leeds, in place of Toumani Diagouraga, which at least means it was worth me memorising how to spell the latter's name before today...but can it spell trouble for Burnley? (I'll get my coat).

At half-time in this Championship game, we told you Arsenal were 2-0 up at West Ham in the lunchtime Premier League match...

Since then, it's fair to say things have changed a little for another team playing in Claret and Blue.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Half chance for the hosts as a dangerous ball into the box bounces just too far in front of the two Burnley players who were in strong positions, unmarked. The deepest of the two, Scott Arfield, catches up with the ball eventually and then hits the side netting from a tight angle. Leeds survive.

SUBSTITUTION (Burnley)

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Dean Marney replaces David Jones for the hosts, who still hold a slender lead.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Burnley break well with Andre Gray but he takes a touch too far wide of goal and the angle becomes difficult, so Leeds are able to block his low shot and clear for a corner.

The visitors also get the danger cleared from the resulting corner.

SUBSTITUTION (Burnley)

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Sam Vokes has to go off. Does he have an injury there? Possibly. That could be a worry for Burnley - and Wales. He trudges off, shaking his head but walking, at least.

Ashley Barnes comes on in his place.

CLOSE!

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Chris Wood heads wide at the far post again. That's another big, big miss. Burnley fans breathe again...

YELLOW CARD (Murphy)

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Leeds' Luke Murphy is booked for a bad challenge on Joey Barton. That was a yellow, for sure.

SUBSTITUTION (Leeds)

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Mustapha Carayol is brought off by manager Steve Evans and replaced by Mirco Antenucci. Can that be the change that brings a goal to delight Leeds' - and Middlesbrough and Brighton's - fans?

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Charlie Taylor's corner is claimed by Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton. Burnley may be leading but they'll be relieved if the scoreline stays like this, on the balance of play.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Leeds fans will be very encouraged with their sides display so far in the second half. Can they find a reward for their attacking ambition and punish Burnley, who have not looked like the league leaders that we know they can be? Here's another Leeds corner...

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Oh, no, no, no Stuart Dallas. That is miles over the bar.

The Leeds man tries his luck from long range and nearly clears the away stand.

We like your confidence, Stuart, but a calmer head was needed surely?

YELLOW CARD (Barton)

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Andre Gray turns in the Leeds penalty area and thinks about shooting but then it is cut back towards Joey Barton on the edge of the area - but the former QPR midfielder arrives too late and goes in with his feet up. It's a deserved booking.

CLOSE!

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

It should be 1-1. Chris Wood flicks a header wide from just three yards in front of the far post. It was a great ball that was just waiting to be glanced goalwards. A big opportunity missed.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Leeds try a training-ground routine from a corner, playing it out to the edge of the area, but Luke Murphy's shot is deflected well wide for another corner.

The second delivery is aimed for the near post, but Burnley do well to clear it away.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Leeds enjoy a promising spell of possession in the Burnley half but can't find the final ball.

Eventually, Chris Wood does find space for a shot from the edge of the area but blasts over.

That was half a chance for the visitors.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

A Burnley free-kick from deep curls into the area but goes over the head of everybody in the box. Still 1-0.

There's no repeat of the quick start Burnley made to the first half, as both sides ease into the second period.

Just a reminder for you - victory would take Burnley four points clear at the top, although second-placed Middlesbrough will have two games in hand.

HALF-TIME

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

So, Burnley take a narrow lead in at the break after Scott Arfield's goal, which came so early in the match that some fans were still sitting down. But Leeds are certainly in this game, make no mistake about it. Do stick with this one for the second half.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

We're playing two minutes of added time at the end of this half.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

From yet another Leeds corner, the ball drops invitingly to Sol Bamba, in space at the far post, but his snatch effort is cleared. Perhaps he saw it a little too late. It really is all Leeds though, as we approach half-time.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

From that Leeds corner, Charlie Taylor's inswinger finds the head of Chris Wood, with his back to goal, but his flicked header goes wide of the far post.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Mustapha Carayol sees a shot deflected wide and Leeds win another corner, their fifth of the game.

Burnley 1-0 Leeds

I'd argue Leeds have been marginally the better team since Burnley's goal....but Burnley fans would rightly point out that the onus is on Leeds to create more, as they're the side trailing. Still, it's not been a dominant first-half display from Sean Dyche's side. Simply a clinical one.
