Right then, that's all from us - thanks for all your comments today.

We'll leave you with the burning question of the day unanswered though I'm afraid...

  2. 'I accept the unrest'

    Everton 1-1 Southampton

Everton manager Roberto Martinez: "When you have to make five or six changes to our starting line-up, we look disjointed, rusty, and needed to find our normal rhythm. We overcame that lack of quality with incredible fight to get a positive result.

"Looking at our results at home, they are not anywhere near what is expected. We need to turn that around starting with understanding the responsibility of being at Everton is to win games on a consistent basis.

"We haven’t been producing the results and I accept the unrest."

  3. 'This is not a step forward'

    Everton 1-1 Southampton

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman: "I'm really disappointed because it was a big opportunity to win the game, right from the start. We had a lot of space to play but in the final part it wasn't good enough.

"At least we had a good reaction to going behind. We got one point but at this final part of the season it is not enough. We want to fight for Europe and it is not a step forward."

  5. Man of the match - Ramiro Funes Mori

    Everton 1-1 Southampton

Ramiro Funes Mori has scored four times in the Premier League this season - the only defender with more goals is Crystal Palace's Scott Dann (5).

  8. Team news

    Everton 1-1 Southampton

Did Everton boss Roberto Martinez have one eye on games against Liverpool and Manchester United next week? He made six changes, perhaps as a precaution rather than necessity from the midweek draw with Crystal Palace.

Everton XI: Robles, Coleman, Stones, Funes Mori, Oviedo, Besic, Gibson, Osman, Deulofeu, Kone, Mirallas.

    Everton

Southampton boss Ronald Koeman is sticking with a winning side as he keeps faith with the same starting 11 that beat Newcastle last week.

Southampton XI: Forster, Martina, van Dijk, Fonte, Bertrand, Wanyama, Clasie, Mane, Long, Tadic, Pelle.

Everton last again on Match of the Day? Or is it because Southampton were in town?..

  10. 'Football's a cruel game'

    West Brom 0-1 Watford

Video caption: West Brom 0-1 Watford: Can’t believe Baggies lost – Pulis

West Brom manager Tony Pulis: "It's a cruel game at times. I thought we played really well today - 40 crosses, two penalties - but it was just not our day.

"Good strikers miss penalties, and Saido is a good player - this will only make him better and stronger. He just has to bounce back. The players have been great with him and he will feel it as much as anyone.

"Saido wanted to take [the second penalty], and some top, top players have missed penalties, players who have had the nous to take the next one and that is what Saido did. I hope if we get another penalty in the next few games he is the one to smash it in."

Time to doff the caps and bow to King of the Penalty Saves Heurelho Gomes.

George Thorpe: Cannot really blame Saido for the second penalty not going in. That was a pretty good save by Gomes

Matt Traynor: As bad as it is to miss two pens in the same game, that second save from Gomes was outstanding

Keyvan Hedvat: The second penalty save was even better than the first!

Video caption: West Brom 0-1 Watford: Hornets ‘close to safety’ – Flores

Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores: "It was a strange match - not too much football and both teams did not play really well.

"I'm not sure if we have enough points but what is most important is that we have to keep improving. It's creating a very good atmosphere around the team and will be important for the next match."

Before this match, Berahino had scored all five of his penalties in the Premier League for West Brom.

    West Brom 0-1 Watford

    Who else?

A fingertip save to deny McAuley's header and two penalty saves earn the Watford keeper man of the match. (Let's just forget his trip on Berahino to concede the first spot-kick.)

  16. How Gomes saves a penalty

    West Brom 0-1 Watford

    BBC Radio 5 Live

Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes, speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "I did the same against Sunderland [in 2010] but that was a different feeling as we lost the game.

"This means a lot - it is great for me and most importantly great for the club. There is always more responsibility on the player taking the penalty than on me. He has the possibility to shoot anywhere and I need to be prepared to react quickly.

"I always try and wait for the penalty taker's decision. I never think about what he will do, I just waited for him."
