Recap

Burnley 1-1 Middlesbrough

Jordan Rhodes
PA

A night of late drama at Turf Moor between the Championship's top two.

Jordan Rhodes' opener looked to have sent Middlesbrough four points clear at the top with 20 minutes to play.

But, in the second minute of stoppage time, Michael Keane directed the ball in after it bounced around in the Middlesbrough six-yard box from a corner for Burnley.

Championship relegation battle

It's pretty much done and dusted, with Charlton down and MK Dons nine points from safety, but Bristol City, Rotherham and Fulham fans can't relax quite yet.

Heading for the play-offs and heading down

Hull City and Derby County have confirmed their places in the Championship play-offs thanks to wins at Reading and Bristol City respectively.

At the bottom, Charlton are gone but MK Dons can mathematically still stay up if they win all three of their remaining games. A big ask given that they've not won in seven.

CHARLTON RELEGATED

FT: Bolton 0-0 Charlton

Charlton can't find a way to break through the Bolton defence, and their four-year stay in the Championship has come to an end.

The Addicks were second-best for much of tonight's game, with Simon Makienok's first-half header the closest they came to opening the scoring.

Bolton rarely tested goalkeeper Nick Pope at the other end, their best chance coming when Darren Pratley was inches away from making contact with Oscar Threlfeld's cross along the six-yard box.

Bolton 0-0 Charlton

Charlton are into three minutes of injury time at Bolton, but another corner comes to nothing as Rob Holding heads clear.

The ball drops to Jordan Cousins, who fires off target from outside the area.

Charlton will be relegated into League One unless they can find a winner.

Championship table

So, that late Michael Keane equaliser for Burnley pushes Brighton back to third and means just two points separate the top three.

Don't forget, Middlesbrough host Brighton on the final day of the season too...exciting finish in store...yep.

'It's been Brighton's night'

I couldn't help but be impressed with both teams here at Turf Moor tonight. But it's been Brighton's night elsewhere. Can they keep it going for the final three games and keep the pressure on these top two teams who made it a great night to be involved in.

Bolton 0-0 Charlton

Chalrton win their first corner of the second-half, but Callum Harriott's delivery is easily cleared away by the Bolton defence.

Rod Fanni then shoots wide for the visitors, who are now starting to push bodies forward as the game approaches full-time.

League One round-up

Callum Saunders heads in a late equaliser for Crewe against Colchester to leave the U's eight points adrift of safety with three games to play.

Burton draw 1-1 with leaders Wigan in the clash between the top two at the Pirelli Stadium, but third-placed Walsall can't take advantage as they are also held to a 1-1 draw by Swindon.

Elsewhere, Barnsley's George Williams scored an injury-time winner to boost the Tykes play-off hopes with a 1-0 victory over 10-man Peterborough.

FT: Burnley 1-1 Middlesbrough

It probably lacked a bit of quality in the final third, but it had tension, it had passion, everything you'd expect from a game towards the end of the season. On reflection, a draw is probably a fair scoreline. What a great game to be involved in.

FULL-TIME

Burnley 1-1 Middlesbrough

And six minutes of added time are up at Turf Moor.

Burnley's unbeaten run stretches to 20 games courtesy of Michael Keane's stoppage time leveller.

Middlesbrough's run of six consecutive wins ends. Both sides stay in the top two.

York safe (for the moment)

League Two

The game at Bootham Crescent finishes 3-1 to York, meaning the Minstermen are safe for another week at least.

Newport's 1-1 draw with Oxford United, means they remain nine points from safety with three games left.

A tough, near impossible task, but you never know.

FULL-TIME

Brighton 4-0 QPR

As things stand, Brighton remain third in the Championship despite registering their fourth successive win.

The Seagulls were ruthless in dismantling QPR thanks to two goals from Anthony Knockaert and a goal apiece from Jiri Skalak and Connor Goldson.

Despite Burnley's late leveller against Middlesbrough, Brighton know if they win their next three games they will be in the Premier League for the first time in their history.

Bolton 0-0 Charlton

Oscar Threlkeld does well to fashion an opportunity for Bolton, but his low cross is just out of the reach of Darren Pratley.

The hosts still look the more team to grab a goal in the last ten minutes.

GOAL (Keane)

PANDEMONIUM AT TURF MOOR IN STOPPAGE TIME!

Michael Keane forces in a late, late equaliser for Burnley from a corner and they're level in the second minute of stoppage time.

Corner in from the left and it bounces around the six-yard area before going in off Keane's knee at the far post.

GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

MK Dons hanging on

Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 MK Dons

MK Dons will not go down tonight if things remain goalless at Hillsborough, but with Rotherham level against Huddersfield, they look certain to be nine points from safety with three games left.

I wouldn't rate their chances.

Burnley 0-1 Middlesbrough

Into stoppage time at Turf Moor.

SIX MINUTES TO BE ADDED ON!!!!

SUBSTITUTION

Bolton 0-0 Charlton

Charlton need a goal in the last 15 minutes, so head coach Jose Riga makes his final change, bringing on Morocco international Zakrya Bergdich for Igor Vetokele.

Bolton haven't created much going forward either in the last few minutes, but they look comfortable at the back.

Burnley 0-1 Middlesbrough

More pressure from set pieces for Burnley in the closing moments, but it's not falling for Sean Dyche's side.

Burnley 0-1 Middlesbrough

Burnley running out of time at Turf Moor to stay in the automatic promotion places...

Burnley still not able with all the pressure they've had in this second half to force a goal scoring opportunity. They really haven't worked the Middlesbrough goalkeeper.

Kevin KilbaneFormer Sunderland and Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

GOAL (Knockaert)

Brighton 4-0 QPR

It was five against Fulham on Friday and it's now four against QPR tonight.

Anthony Knockaert scores his second with a low strike into the corner.

Hogan's happy return

Brentford Scott Hogan endured a dreadful 19 months after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in just his second appearance for the Bees.

He grabbed his first goal for the club, and missed a penalty, in Saturday's draw with Bristol City and he's now scored a couple of goals to put his side 2-0 up and leave Cardiff's play-off hopes hanging by a thread.

Burnley 0-1 Middlesbrough

Sean Dyche makes a couple of changes to try and force a Burnley equaliser with just over five minutes remaining.

Off go Andre Gray and George Boyd to be replaced by Ashley Barnes and Matty Taylor.

League One round-up

After that earlier flurry of goals, there's only been one more to tell you about since.

It is at least an important one, John Egan heading Gillingham level against play-off rivals Rochdale at Spotland.

Elsewhere in the Championship

A couple of teams have halved their deficit in the Championship

Alan Browne has pulled one back for Preston at Birmingham and George Saville has scored for Wolves at Leeds.

Both games are still 2-1 and fairly meaningless in terms of promotion and relegation. Could still be fun though!

SUBSTITUTION

Bolton 0-0 Charlton

A pair of substitutions for Charlton at Bolton, where winger Callum Harriott replaces Yun Suk Young, and Alou Diarra is on for Johnnie Jackson.

There are 24 minutes left for the Addicks to find the goal that would keep alive their survival hopes.

Burnley 0-1 Middlesbrough

Approaching the final 10 minutes of this one.

As it stands, Middlesbrough will have a seventh straight win and a four-point lead at the top.

However, George Boyd goes close with a shot on target and then Burnley force a corner from the rebound.

How big will that Jordan Rhodes goal be come the end of the season?

Jordan Rhodes
Rex Features

Burnley 0-1 Middlesbrough

Close from Burnley as they search for an equaliser to keep their 19-game unbeaten run in the Championship going.

Sam Vokes tries to get on the end of a deep hanging cross but can't direct his header under the crossbar.

That boy Rhodes is on fire...a Boro legend in the making?...if this game ends like this, we are surely going up #bbcfootball

Boro are four points clear at the top as things stand Agubata. One foot in the Premier League maybe?

Bolton 0-0 Charlton

Much like the first half, Bolton are just about shading the second period against Charlton.

Zac Clough has curled a shot off target for the Trotters, while Ademola Lookman has a long-range effort comfortably saved a few minutes later at the other end.

GOAL (Goldson)

Brighton 3-0 QPR

Brighton have hardly got going in this game and yet they now lead 3-0.

Connor Goldson heads home an Anthony Knockaert corner and now the Seagulls will be looking to boost their goal difference.

With Middlesbrough winning at Burnley they are second as it stands.

Burnley 0-1 Middlesbrough

That's the thing with Jordan Rhodes. He goes through games not being involved in many moves, but then when he senses half a chance, he gets there to finish it. It's the way he manufactures his position, he's on the move, but Ben Mee was on his heels.

Brighton into the top two

And just look at what that Jordan Rhodes goal does for Brighton!

Championship table as it stands
BBC

Goals galore in League One

Colchester look to be maintaining their League One status for a little while longer at least, as George Moncur's penalty puts the U's 1-0 up at already-relegated Crewe.

Sheffield United have retaken the lead at struggling Shrewsbury through Che Adams' shot, while Andy Rose has put Coventry 1-0 up against fifth-placed Bradford.

Curtis Main has fired Oldham in front at out-of-form Southend, and Kieron Morris equalises for Walsall against Swindon after Michael Doughty had put the Robins ahead.

GOAL (Rhodes)

Burnley 0-1 Middlesbrough

Jordan Rhodes

And there is the breakthrough....

Jordan Rhodes gets on the end of a Middlesbrough breakaway and the league leaders are ahead on 70 minutes.

A free-kick is whipped into the box by Stewart Downing, nodded down at the back post and Rhodes is there to stab it home ahead of Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton.

69. GOOOOOAAALLLLLL!!!!! RHODES DOES IT AGAIN!!!!

Ipswich play-off dreams over?

Moussa Dembele gives Fulham the lead at Ipswich. That might just secure Fulham's Championship survival while also consigning Ipswich to another season at that level.

Elsewhere, Leeds midfielder Toumani Diagouraga has scored for the second time in two matches to make it 2-0 to Leeds against Wolves and Clayton Donaldson has scored his second to give Birmingham a 2-0 lead against Preston.

Bolton 0-0 Charlton

Ademola Lookman has the chance to deliver a free-kick into the box from a decent position, but he instead plays the ball short and the attack quickly breaks down.

That just about sums up the attacking play we've seen from both sides so far.

Burnley 0-0 Middlesbrough

Adam Clayton joins fellow midfielder Grant Leadbitter in the book with a yellow card for Middlesbrough.

Remarkably, still no shots on target at Turf Moor.
