  1. Thank you and good night

That is all from us tonight. Be sure to join us again tomorrow for more Premier League action. We'll be up and running from about 11:00 BST. Night.

  2. 'Will Chelsea build around Fabregas?'

    Bournemouth 1-4 Chelsea

    Ruud Gullit

    Former Chelsea manager

"Both teams had nothing to play for, it was sunny , beautiful weather and Cesc Fabregas had all the space he needed to play well. He ran the show.

"If you give him that space it becomes easy. He needs to be better against Chelsea's rivals. Against PSG the midfield ran over him. Conte made a system especially at Juventus for Pirlo. Could he do the same again?"

  3. 'Chelsea will be tough for Tottenham'

    Bournemouth 1-4 Chelsea

    Martin Keown

Former Arsenal defender on Match of the Day

"The Tottenham players are probably listening to Hazard saying they want Leicester to win the league and are being goaded by it. It will be a tough game for Tottenham playing Chelsea."

  6. 'We're still finding our feet'

    Bournemouth 1-4 Chelsea

    Eddie Howe

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "It was an even game, certainly for the first half I thought we were terrific - the difference between the sides was how they finished their goals.

"We created a number of chances but didn't have their clinical edge. Second half, they were better and I thought Chelsea's attitude to the game was spot on, that's why it ended up being such a high quality game.

"The beauty of our run-in, which is so tough on paper, is that we're learning all the time. We're still finding our feet at this level, they've been harsh lessons for us but hopefully we'll come out of it a better team."

  7. 'We talked about playing Hazard for 45 minutes'

    Bournemouth 1-4 Chelsea

Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink: "We're very pleased with the performance, especially in the second half.

"It was a very open, entertaining game. Bournemouth have a very good build-up and create good chances.

"It was good discipline and good to see some players who have been absent recently, scoring goals.

"We worked with Eden Hazard for the last 10 days, his movement was good and we talked about playing him for 45 minutes or perhaps more, but in the end he was enjoying it and he came through the whole game."

  8. Man of the match - Cesc Fabregas

    Bournemouth 1-4 Chelsea

He did not exactly run the game, but a hat-trick of assists is pretty influential and Fabregas' total of 91 passes was 27 more than anyone else in his side

  9. Bournemouth bad at the back

    Bournemouth 1-4 Chelsea

Eden Hazard was dangerous on both flanks for Chelsea, and as this touch map shows, seven of his touches came in the opposition area - joint highest for the Blues with Pedro

  14. Team news

    Bournemouth 1-4 Chelsea

Bournemouth make two changes from their 2-1 loss to Liverpool, with Marc Pugh and Lewis Grabban coming in for Max Gradel and Matt Ritchie. Callum Wilson is on the bench as he continues his return from injury and he is joined by Benik Afobe.

Three changes for Chelsea. The big news is Eden Hazard makes his first start after a five-game absence with a hip/groin injury - Ruben Loftus-Cheek makes way. Gary Cahill is ill, so John Mikel Obi will play at centre-half with Nemanja Matic coming into midfield. Thibaut Courtios is suspended and is replaced by Asmir Begovic.

  15. 'It is unfair to dig out Lescott'

    Aston Villa 2-4 Southampton

    Martin Keown

Former Arsenal defender on Match of the Day

"I feel it is unfair to dog Lescott out. It is more of a collective thing. Hutton allows a two-on-one to develop for the first goal. The marking is terrible and these are basics.

"We know Lescott is not the quickest. For the second goal they are going backwards when they should be going forward and it left him exposed.

"They need to analyse well and work on the training pitch to put the basics right."

  16. Embarrassing?

    ASton Villa 2-4 Southampton

  17. 'Love Long's movement'

    Aston Villa 2-4 Southampton

    Ruud Gullit

    Former Chelsea manager

"I like the movement of Shane Long, he always gets in behind the opposition. He stretches the game.

"When you play on the counter-attack he is a brilliant option."

  18. Man of the Match - Shane Long

    Aston Villa 2-4 Southampton

BBC Sport's James Gheerbrant was in no doubt who stood out from the rest.

"The Republic of Ireland forward scored one goal and set up two others, and also took on opposition players 20 times - more than anyone else on the pitch," he wrote.

Read James' match report on the BBC Sport website

  19. 'Fans entitled to vent anger'

    Aston Villa 2-4 Southampton

Aston Villa caretaker manager Eric Black: "The fans are entitled to vent their displeasure. It's not an ideal atmosphere, but it's understandable, given the circumstances. We have to continue to be professional."

On the game: "We did get a response under difficult circumstances, but it wasn't enough to win the game.

"We conceded poor goals that put us on the back foot."
