Police statement on reports of crowd problems
There have been reports of a small number of supporters in the Millwall section getting past police and stewards and confronting a number of Barnsley fans inside Wembley.
The Metropolitan Police said: "At approximately 16:35Â on Sunday 29 May during the League One play-off final between Millwall and Barnsley at Wembley an altercation between a small number of fans occurred.
"No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries continue.
"The Metropolitan Police Service will conduct a review and will liaise with the Football Association and the two clubs involved to identify those responsible and where necessary take the appropriate action."
A spokesman for Millwall FC said the club deplored the actions of a small minority of its fans during the second-half of Sunday's League One play-off final.
He added: "Such behaviour is unacceptable and anyone found guilty of disorder will face life bans from the football club."Â Â

Fans are encouraged to paint the town red by bringing flags and wearing team colours, said the council.
Some roads and car parks will be closed from 16:00 for the celebrations.

Reds captain Conor Hourihane has posted this picture in the dressing room.
He wants to be careful where he's stepping - that floor needs a mopping!

FT: Barnsley 3 - 1 Millwall
He's led Barnsley to two Wembley victories this season - but he's still only the caretaker.
However, it appears that Paul Heckingbottom's future is secure.
Barnsley owner Patrick Cryne has told BBC Radio Sheffield the job is his - if he wants it!
I think it's safe to assume he does!

Millwall boss Neil Harris tells Sky Sports: "What we've achieved was unexpected at the start of the season. There's huge disappointment - we just couldn't finish it off today.
"Congratulations to Barnsley. The chances we made, we didn't put in the net. That was the difference today.
"Next year, we've got to be better."

Barnsley interim manager Paul Heckingbottom tells Sky Sports: "We were trying our best to have a really quick, positive start. Byron Webster being out probably helped us a little bit.
"This is bigger (than the JPT final). The players know that. The party and everything that comes with it will be that much better.
"The best bit about everything I've been doing is seeing these celebrations."
And on his future at the club: "Everyone is this stadium knows I'm a Barnsley fan."
Webster injury affected Millwall - Harris
FT: Barnsley 3-1 Millwall
Millwall lost defender Byron Webster to injury in the warm-up - here's what manager Neil Harris has had to say about it on Sky Sports:
"It affected us mentally before the game. You try to paper over it but we worked all work on our gameplan and it all sort of goes out of the way in the warm-up.
"It's a learning curve for me and certainly our players. I'll learn from it myself and we'll come back stronger next year."
