Advantage Raith Rovers

FT: Raith Rovers 1-0 Hibernian

This tie isn't over but Raith Rovers are in the driving seat with that goal from Harry Panayiotou.

Hibs are sure to give it everything in Saturday's second leg but that could leave them vulnerable at the back and Rovers showed tonight that they are more than up for the fight.

It promises to be a nail-biter.

I'll sign off now. Good night.

A few hurting Hibees out there...

Story of Hibs in season in a nutshell there. Loads of the ball, chances, no goals and vulnerable to a break. 'mon Hibs! #bbcsportscot #hibs

what would improve the play-offs for me is Hibs not always being in them. #ggtth #bbcsportscot

FT: Raith Rovers 1-0 Hibernian

The BBC Sportsound team are puzzled by Alan Stubbs' criticism of referee Kevin Clancy and his assistants. There weren't many contentious moments in the match.

Hibernian manager Alan Stubbs

Talking to BBC Radio Scotland

"The first frustration comes from conceding at a set-piece. We lost concentration when we should have dealt with it. The other frustration comes from not taking the chances we had.

"The pitch is a leveller, It doesn't suit our style of play but that's not the reason we lost the game. Conrad [Logan] has had one save to make.

"At this stage of the season, you want the best officials and they have got it horribly wrong tonight.

"We know what we need to do on Saturday and we'll look to really take the game to Raith. Our home form is very good, so it makes for a rip-roaring occasion."

FT: Raith Rovers 1-0 Hibernian

Saturday's second leg is a 12:30 kick-off at Easter Road. Hibs fans may be too nervous for a hearty breakfast before that one. One thing is for sure, the Edinburgh side need to improve their finishing if they are to have a chance of turning this round.

Raith Rovers manager Ray McKinnon

Talking to BBC Radio Scotland

"The players dug in and ground out another result. We have a great dressing room full of determined characters. It's just half time and Saturday will be extremely tough because Hibs will throw everything at us."

FT: Raith Rovers 1-0 Hibernian

"I'm still scratching my head wondering how Hibs haven't won that match," says Richard Wilson on BBC Radio Scotland.

Happy Harry

FT: Raith Rovers 1-0 Hibernian

"It's been the year of the underdogs. We've got nothing to lose. If we get promoted, I'm the happiest man alive," says Raith goal hero Harry Panayiotou on BBC Radio Scotland. Have I mentioned he's on loan from new English champions Leicester City?

FT: Raith Rovers 1-0 Hibernian

"The end product just wasn't there for Hibs," says BBC Sportsound pundit Derek Ferguson. "I think some shooting practice is in order."

FT: Raith Rovers 1-0 Hibernian

How will Hibs be feeling in the dressing room? Pretty sick, I'd wager. They bossed the first half and really should have been ahead but now they are in real danger of a third season in the second tier.

Raith Rovers 0-0 Hibernian

Richard Wilson

BBC Scotland at Stark's Park

"Ray McKinnon has played his hand, bringing on two substitutes and changing the shape of his side to 4-4-2 to try to regain some control from Hibs. The visitors have been racking up chances and will feel that this game is there for the taking. Raith are hoping that Louis Longridge and Harry Panayiotou will make a difference, and they will at least provide some support to the perennially stranded Ryan Hardie."

KICK-OFF

Raith Rovers 0-0 Hibernian

We're up and running at Stark's Park again...

Stranraer on top

HT: Stranraer 3-1 Livingston

Kenny Crawford

BBC Sport Scotland at Stair Park

"Incredible half of football down here in the Rhins of Galloway.

"Stranraer absolutely rampant towards the end of the half and Livi looking shaken. The quality of goals from the Blues also something special."

HT: Raith Rovers 0-0 Hibernian

It's been all Hibs in terms of chances, which is a familiar tale this season. It seems Alan Stubbs' side need about 20 efforts on goal to get one in the net. That ratio needs to improve if they want to ease the tension of these play-offs,

HT: Raith Rovers 0-0 Hibernian

Richard Wilson

BBC Scotland at Stark's Park

"Hibs grew into command of the first-half, and the visitors will regret Jason Cummings' lack of composure when sent clean through on goal. Raith Rovers will consider that miss a reprieve, but they need to find a way to build attacks, since Ryan Hardie has been isolated up front and the home side have failed to exert any meaningful pressure in the final third. Hibs have become the dominant force by controlling the midfield, so problems for Raith manager Ray McKinnon to solve at half-time."
