  5. Kilmarnock manager Lee Clark

"Those two games [against Falkirk] are far, far more important than today's. We missed too many gilt-edged chances. Dundee United put us to the sword. We're under no illusions of the task. The talking stops and the actions speak louder than words."

  6. What next?

Kilmarnock will try to preserve their Premiership status in the play-off final against Falkirk.

The first leg is at the Falkirk Stadium on Thursday, with the return at Rugby Park next Sunday.

    Partick Thistle 2-2 Hamilton Academical

No second-half goals for fans at Firhill to enjoy but a thoroughly entertaining match all the same.

    Inverness CT 4-0 Dundee

Comfortable win in the end for Inverness after a goalless first half.

The Highlanders finish as the best of the rest by claiming seventh while Dundee have to settle for eighth.

Relegated Dundee United give their travelling fans some cheer with victory at Rugby Park.

  15. Kilmarnock 2-3 Dundee United

    Jonathan Sutherland

BBC Sport Scotland at Rugby Park

"Simon Murray again! Said it before, he can be a huge player for Dundee United next season. Another bold run and shot from the forward to cut inside and his low shot goes past Jamie MacDonald.

"Normally, you would expect the excellent Kilmarnock keeper to save it, but credit to Murray."

  16. GOAL Inverness CT 4-0 Dundee (Foran, pen)

It just gets worse for Dundee as Liam Polworth is fouled in the visitors' box and Richie Foran converts the penalty.

  17. GOAL Kilmarnock 2-3 Dundee United (Murray)

Dundee United back in front. Simon Murray's shot from the left edge of the box goes through Jamie MacDonald into the net.
