Thanks and good night

That is all for our coverage of Northern Ireland's final warm-up game. Not a classic, but a useful exercise nonetheless.

Six days to go until we get down to the serious business in France.

Be sure to join us next Friday for the opening ceremony and France v Romania. Bye.

Gerry Armstrong

Former Northern Ireland International

"The confidence is intact. The run continues, the belief still there.

"I was very impressed, we were organised players and the players who came in were good.

"Everything is positive for next week in Nice."

FULL-TIME

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland end with a corner, which beats everyone in the box. Game over.

Not a thrilling final friendly before these teams head to France. But Northern Ireland can take a lot of encouragement from a solid defensive display that gives them the longest unbeaten run of all 24 sides heading into the Euros.

Andrew Wilson: Wind your neck in Odinaka!!

Gerry Armstrong

"Paddy McNair has had a good game, he has done very well."

SUBSTITUTION

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Conor McLaughlin gets a couple of minutes of action as he comes on for Paddy McNair.

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Bizarre corner. It is hugely over-hit, beating everyone in the box. Not the delivery you need when you are looking to win a game.

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Slovakia win a corner as the clock ticks up to 90 minutes.

Agubata Odinaka: There can only be one conclusion from this friendly match, Northern Ireland are never going to win the Euros this summer.

Gerry Armstrong

Former Northern Ireland International

"It is proper team play defensively from Northern Ireland.

"They look very compact."

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Weiss has a pop for Slovakia from the edge of the box but a deflection takes the sting out of it and makes it easy for Michael McGovern to save. Northern Irish backs firmly against the wall now.

SUBSTITUTION

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Another Northern Ireland change. Shane Ferguson is replaced by Lee Hodson.

SUBSTITUTION

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Oliver Norwood goes off with Corry Evans coming on.

Gerry Armstrong

Former Northern Ireland International

"What a delievery that was.

"A good piece of goalkeeping, I don't think he knew a lot about it.

"It could quite easily have been in the back of the net."

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Almost a Slovakia own goal! Northern Ireland have been camped in their own half practically since the break but they nearly snatch the lead with a rare attack. Paddy McNair's driven cross from the right is met by the diving Martin Skrtel with a touch that needs quick reflexes from Matus Kozacik to keep out.

Gerry Armstrong

Former Northern Ireland International

"The final ball in was great. Hamsik just can't get a touch on it. That was a super piece of play."

CLOSE!

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Oh, what a ball! Slovakia's best move of the match ends with a ball driven across goal from the rigth and just past the diving Marek Hamsik at the near post.

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland have 10 minutes to see out. If they don't concede they will head to the Euros as the team possessing the longest unbeaten streak. The form team, if you will. Who would have thought it?

Gerry Armstrong

Former Northern Ireland International

"Northern Ireland are not keeping possession long enough. This is a dangerous period.

"Slovakia are starting to up the tempo."

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

They may be digging in, but Northern Ireland have no way out when they do get the ball. It is asking a lot to survive 10 minutes under constant pressure.

Gerry Armstrong

Former Northern Ireland International

"If Slovakia are starting to shoot from 30 yards out then Northern Ireland are doing something right. That is a big plus.

"This is a team who beat Germany 3-1 in Germany."

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Well, if Northern Ireland wanted to see how well they could contain another side, they can take a lot of encouragement from this. Slovakia have plenty of possession but have not been able to create a huge amount of clear-cut chances.

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Quality stuff from Steven Davis. He closes down Jan Durica and wins a corner off the flustered home defender. Unfortunately for the away side, the resulting delivery is too close to the home keeper, who punches clear.

Gerry Armstrong

Former Northern Ireland International

"It is excellent from Gareth McAuley. He knows exactly what to do and blocks it for the corner kick."

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

It is starting to become a bit attack v defence, with the home side providing the former. Marek Hamsik has a sight of goal in the box but is quickly closed down and his shot blocked by McAuley.

Gerry Armstrong

Former Northern Ireland International

"Weiss has been poor today. Nothing has really gone for him.

"There is no contact and he goes down."

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Weiss drops to the turf in the box, but it appears to be more embarrassment at his terrible first touch than any contact with Paddy McNair.

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

The home side come forward again with a deep cross that is cleared to the edge of the box before being driven low past the post by Juraj Kucka.

If you needed further proof that this game is drifting, you need only look to the stands. We've got a Mexican Wave.

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Nice move from Slovakia. Miroslav Stoch's diagonal ball to the right is headed back into the box for Ondrej Duda to fire a first-time effort way over the bar.

Gerry Armstrong

Former Northern Ireland International

"It is like-for-like and still an offensive threat. As the home team Slovakia will definitely want to win the game rather than lose it."

SUBSTITUTION

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Double change for Slovakia. Miroslav Stoch and Ondrej Duda come on for Robert Mak and Michal Duris.

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Weiss looks a really good player... right up until he has to deliver something meaningful. He cuts in from the left, driving with purpose, but his chipped pass limps harmlessly out for a goal-kick.

Gerry Armstrong

Former Northern Ireland International

"That is a great save because it went through the defenders legs.

"It would have been a brilliant breakaway goal."

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Great save from Matus Kozacik! Conor Washington drives down the left before cutting in and firing a low shot that would have slotted inside the post but for the home keeper's outstretched boot.

Great work by Washington - direct and threatening.

"I like that delivery, it was a class delivery in the right area with people attacking it."

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

First half-chance for Northern Ireland comes from a superb Oliver Norwood delivery into the box from a free-kick. It requires a Slovak head to put the ball behind. The corner comes to nothing, though.

Gerry Armstrong

Former Northern Ireland International

"I don't like to see that. There is something Lafferty isn't happy with.

"You don't need to take a chance in this situation."

SUBSTITUTION

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

Kyle Lafferty is down and nursing a knock. He is smiling, though, so hopefully it isn't bad. Michael O'Neill isn't taking any chances. Off comes Lafferty and on comes Conor Washington.

Slovakia 0-0 Northern Ireland

It has been all Slovakia so far this second half. They have another pop at goal with Juraj Kucka's shot from the edge of the box rocketing past the post.

Gerry Armstrong

Former Northern Ireland International

"McGovern has done really well to keep his eyes on that."
