  3. Hibs appeal against Lennon ban

Hibernian say they will appeal against manager Neil Lennon's five-match European ban.

Uefa's disciplinary body charged Lennon with "acts of violence against the referee" during the Edinburgh side's 1-0 first leg defeat by Brondby in a Europa League qualifier at Easter Road on 14 July.

The former Celtic and Bolton boss, in his first competitive game in charge of Hibs, had protested over a disallowed Jason Cummings goal and was sent to the stand by Juan Martínez Munuera.

The Edinburgh club tweeted: "Hibernian are aware of the sanction imposed by Uefa on head coach Neil Lennon and are in the process of appealing the suspension."

  12. Brendan Rodgers & Mark Warburton

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers and his Rangers counterpart Mark Warburton know each other well.

When Rodgers left Chelsea's youth set-up to become Watford manager in November 2008, Warburton was already academy manager at the club.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche, who was a youth coach at Watford and a contemporary of both, expects an intriguing season when the pair lock horns in Scotland's top flight.

"Both their lifestyles to where they are now will have formed them into what they are," says Dyche.

"Warbo has his business background and some of the processes he used there, how they cross over into football, and Brendan has more of a pure football background and has been coaching from a young age all the way through the system."
