  1. Post update

Right, that's your lot from me for the evening.

    See you all later!

  2. 'We're happy with a point'

    Czech Republic 0-0 Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland midfielder Paddy McNair on Sky Sports: "They were quite open at the back and when we won the ball we tried to get forward.

"After the first half I thought we deserved the lead, but after that second half we're happy with a point."

  3. 'The result showed the spirit of the team'

    Czech Republic 0-0 Northern Ireland

Michael O'Neill, Northern Ireland manager, on Sky Sports: "We could have been better in terms of our choice of pass but we had four players in the starting XI who have played very little club football this year. That's hard at this level.

"But I thought the result showed the spirit of the team and our defenders were fantastic. We worked very hard on our counter-attacking this week, but the disappointing thing is our choice of pass, which meant we didn't make the most of those openings.

"We set our team up well and people will have seen the energy and work-rate. But what would make my life easier would be more of our players playing more regularly - but of course I don't pick my players' club sides.

"We have two home games coming up and we hope that'll give us a platform to get seven points after our first three games. After that, we target a magnificent performance in Germany."

  4. 'A good point against a good side'

    Czech Republic 0-0 Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland captain Jonny Evans on Sky Sports: "We are satisfied. We didn't create too much and they had a lot of pressure towards the end, and we battled to keep a clean sheet. It's not a bad result away from home to take a point.

"It's a team effort and it's a big asset in our team - all the lads work really hard. It's always important to take something from your first game and it probably was a good point in the end against a good side.

"We have a couple of matches coming up where we think we might pick up three points."

  5. Coming up

Some key games still to come on Monday:

Serbia v Republic of Ireland, Wales v Moldova

  6. 'Northern Ireland remain very hard to beat'

    Czech Republic 0-0 Northern Ireland

    BBC Radio Ulster

Former Burnley and Northern Ireland forward Billy Hamilton

Jonny Evans was fantastic tonight. He reads the game so well and was everywhere he needed to be.

A positive is that Northern Ireland remain very hard to beat, which we need to be first and for most. We got what we needed, no goals against and a point.

  7. Post update

    Czech Republic 0-0 Northern Ireland

A point gained, or two dropped?

  8. 'O'Neill will probably give the players a rollocking'

    Czech Republic 0-0 Northern Ireland

    BBC Radio Ulster

Linfield and Northern Ireland midfielder Sammy Clingan

We were lucky to get a point. The Czech Republic had a couple of very good chances in the second half and we never got going. But we must dust ourselves down and move onto our next game.

Michael O'Neill will probably give the players a rollocking after that - it seemed like our players were just off their game.

  9. Post update

    Czech Republic 0-0 Northern Ireland

Jonny Evans says that Northern Ireland are happy to take a clean sheet and a point.

  10. Post update

  11. FULL-TIME

    Malta 1-5 Scotland

Scotland get off to a winning start in a game which had pretty much everything.

It means that they top Group F.

  12. 'A big, big let-off'

    Czech Republic 0-0 Northern Ireland

    John O'Neill

Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

This was nothing like the Northern Ireland we have watched over the last couple of years.

There will be a lot of talking in the dressing room to try and analyse why so many players were off form. We needed the strength and experience of our best players to save us.

Tonight was a big, big let-off. At the end of the group this could be the game where we realise we dropped two points, or alternatively when we snaffled a vital one.

  13. RED CARD

    Malta 1-5 Scotland

Malta are down to nine men as Robert Snodgrass is whacked in midfield.

Luke Gambin is the man to see red.

  18. CLOSE!

    Czech Republic 0-0 Northern Ireland

So close to the winner! Vaclav Kadlec has missed a few chances tonight but he nearly wins it, dragging a shot wide from a tight angle.

  19. Last few minutes
