Manchester United 4-1 Fenerbahce

Jose Mourinho says that he knew his side need to win all of their home games in the Europa League and he is happy with 'two clear penalties.'

Manchester United 4-1 Fenerbahce

David de Gea now has to make a good stop to prevent a second Fenerbahce goal as Souza's low shot from range is pushed around the post.

Samarendra.psundefined: Forget about the goal... That celebration must be winning the ballon d'or ...

Peter Malath: Pogba and Lingard dabbing and Martial is just standing there like a humble one of three siblings.

Crazy stuff in the Fenebahce back line. Anthony Martial is in on goal this time and he's bundled over by Sener Ozbayrakli. Great ball from Juan Mata.

Manchester United seeing all of the ball, with Michael Carrick ticking the play along nicely in midfield. The cameras pick out Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the stands. What's going on with him? A mystery man.

A few interesting faces in the Manchester United directors' box this evening.

A non-playing player - Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

An international manager - Roberto Martinez

A former international manager - Sam Allardyce.

The former England manager is sat a few seats along from one of the men who appointed him; former United chief executive and current FA vice-chairman David Gill.

Mark, Berkshire: Saints problem all season has been their inability to hit a barn door with a banjo in front of goal, paid for that continued failure tonight.

Shakhtar Donetsk have piled into a 4-0 lead over Gent with Brazilian international Bernard among the scorers in that Group H clash.

Ajax and Celta Vigo are playing out a corker. The Dutch visitors went 2-1 up away through a goal from Amin Younes, but Fabian Orellana has just put Celta back level in the 82nd minute.

Inter Milan 1-0 Southampton

Stunning save! Charlie Austin, eight yards out, hammered at goal, brilliantly saved by Samir Handanovic.

Not sure how he kept that out...

RED CARD - Marcelo Brozovic

Inter Milan 1-0 Southampton

Internazionale are down to 10 men and Marcelo Brozovic can have nil complaints.

He was booked for a nasty tackle on Charlie Austin earlier and this is even worse, sliding through the heels of Pierre Hojbjerg. Two yellows = red and a chance for Southampton now...

No Mkhitaryan

Manchester United v Fenerbahce

BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Jose Mourinho did not say Henrikh Mkhitaryan was unavailable for selection when asked yesterday, so it can only be presumed he is.

Therefore, his absence, not just from the team but the Manchester United bench, is an odd one.

The Armenian has been injured, but he has not been part of a matchday squad since being substituted at half-time on his only start, against Manchester City last month.

Mourinho paid Borussia Dortmund £26.3m for him in July.

Inter Milan 0-0 Southampton

Ooooh a shocker from right-back Cuco Martina! He just doesn't look up and plays a backpass which sells Fraser Forster horribly short, Inter captain Mauro Icardi is on it in a flash, Forster makes himself big(ger), Icardi tries to round him and Forster cuts out his backheel.

Great goalkeeping. Horrific defending.

Robin van Persie

Robin van Persie scored 35 goals in his first season for Manchester United, delivering the title in Sir Alex Ferguson's final year in charge.

He was a superb signing, but was gradually phased out before leaving for Fenerbahce last summer.

Now 33, can RvP come back to hurt United tonight?

Inter Milan v Southampton

Team news

Inter Milan v Southampton (18:00 BST)

Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi may have upset some of the club's fans but manager Frank de Boer picks him to start. Former Cardiff midfielder Gary Medel is also in the Serie A side's line-up, while Ever Banega and Ivan Perisic are on the bench.

Inter Milan XI:  Handanovic, Icardi, Medel, Santon, Eder, Murillo, Miranda, Gnoukouri, Nagatomo, Brozovic, Candreva.

Defender Maya Yoshida, midfielders James Ward-Prowse and Pierre Hojbjerg as well as forwards Shane Long and Jay Rodriguez also come into the side. The benched Jose Fonte, Jordy Clasie, Steven Davis, Charlie Austin, injured Matt Targett and rested Nathan Redmond are the ones to make way.

Club record signing Sofiane Boufal has yet to play for Southampton but is also a substitute.

Southampton XI: Forster, Yoshida, Long, Rodriguez, Tadic, Romeu, Martina, Ward-Prowse, Van Dijk, Hojbjerg, McQueen.
