Former Everton and Sunderland winger on BBC Two

There are some good draws. The first two coming out in Sheffield United v Leyton Orient and then Millwall v Southend are good ones. Eastleigh against Swindon Town is a good one as well, especially considering how Eastleigh did last season, so we should look out for that one.

Who are the holders?

FA Cup first round draw proper

Just in case you've forgotten who the current holders of the FA Cup are, let us refresh your memory. It's Manchester United.

They beat Crystal Palace 2-1 in the final last season, with Jesse Lingard getting the winner.

United, along with the rest of the Premier League sides and Championship teams, will enter at the third round stage of the FA Cup.

What an occasion

FA Cup first round draw

Spennymoor Town manager Jason Ainsley on a tie at MK Dons: "What an occasion. It is all a reward for the hard work and fantastcic opportunity for the supporters to go to the game and hopefully see us win."

'We are delighted'

Andy Morris, chief executive of Westfields: "We are delighted we are at home, six home games on bounce now this season. We will do our homework, have our opponents watched. I'm quietly confident with a home draw.

"Getting this far is a huge bonus - we have earned enough money so far to get us through this season and keep us going into next season."

Westfields play either York City or Curzon Ashton in the next round.

Chesham aim for TV game

FA Cup first round draw proper

Non-league Chesham United reached the second round last season after claiming their first ever Football League club scalp by defeating Bristol Rovers.

They could get another chance of causing an upset this season as they've made it through to the first round proper thanks to a 1-0 win over Potters Bar Town.

"We really don't mind who we get," Chesham manager Andy Leese told BBC Three Counties radio.

"We'd like one of the established EFL clubs home or away and one of the television companies to take an interest in it.

"The anxiety has gone for us as we've ticked a box to get to this stage and can enjoy it.

"I'm sure if we got [local rivals] Wycombe or Luton it would create more interest."

'What dreams are made of'

Jason Ainsley, manager Spennymoor Town: "It is brilliant to be here, it nearly happened two years ago against Telford. To be in the first-round draw is what dreams are made of."

The magic of the Cup

FA Cup first round proper draw

Westfields secretary and chief executive, Andrew Morris, founded the club after being inspired by England winning the 1966 World Cup and called the win over Leiston a "magical experience".

"This belongs to the magic of the Cup," 66-year-old Morris told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"It's unbelievable, I've seen scenes today that I never dreamt we would see. To win today, to get to the first round, is amazing.

"When we started I'd have been happy to have a good run in the Hereford Senior Cup."

Sorry Richard

We at BBC Sport had Westfields hero Richard Greaves down as a labourer but the man himself has corrected us.

Who is the lowest team left?

FA Cup first round proper draw

Westfields - the place in Hereford and not the shopping centre - are the lowest ranked team still left in the competition.

The ninth tier side have been through each of the six rounds so far and beat Leiston 2-1 at home on Saturday to go into the first-round proper draw for the first time.

Richard Greaves scored the winner for Midland League Premier Division side, who were formed in 1966 on the back of England's World Cup triumph.

They were watched by a crowd of 760, which is almost five times Westfields' average home attendance of 160.

In money terms, their run has netted them £30,925 in prize money so far.
