  1. Post update

But, for now, that's it from us. Gary Rose is still watching events at Stamford Bridge here, so keep him company.

We'll be back tomorrow, starting with the small matter of the North London derby.

  2. Post update

    Match of the Day

Don't forget that you can watch highlights from all of today's Premier League action on Match of the Day on BBC One tonight at 22:20 GMT.

Jon Connor: Arguably the best 45 minutes Chelsea have played in the last 5 years. Gorgeous stuff.

Dennis Ethan: Diego Costa goal should have been called offside though David Luiz clearly interrupting play

  4. Stats of the day

    Burnley 3-2 Crystal Palace

    • Burnley have won back to back Premier League home games for the first time since October 2009, when they won their first four home top-flight games.
    • Crystal Palace have gone 16 Premier League games without a clean sheet, the longest run without a shut-out of any current top-flight side.
    • Burnley striker Sam Vokes has scored and assisted in the same league game for the first time since January 2008 for Bournemouth v Port Vale.
    • Vokes has netted two of the three fastest Premier League goals this season (78 secs v Crystal Palace, 97 secs v Liverpool), with Pedro netting the quickest (30 secs for Chelsea v Man Utd).
  5. HALF-TIME

    Chelsea 3-0 Everton

It's been an absolute shellacking so far. Chelsea are storming to the top of the Premier League, dishing out a pasting to an Everton side that should have been tricky opponents. How many might Chelsea get?

  6. Stats of the day

    West Ham 1-1 Stoke

    • Stoke have won just six of their 45 Premier League games in London, drawing 10 and losing 29.
    • Bojan has scored two goals from just three shots on target in the Premier League this season.
    • Only Hull City (13) have fired in fewer shots on target on home soil this season than West Ham (14).
  7. GOAL - Chelsea 3-0 Everton

    Diego Costa

If it isn't already, this could get very, very messy for Chelsea. A corner somehow finds its way to an unmarked Diego Costa at the backpost, with the Spain striker powering a low finish into the back of the net. Damage limitation for Everton, a top-of-the-league party for Chelsea.

Jared Maobe: Is that Conte is not seeing what am seeing? Costa looked not OK after that reckless foul on him.

Gregor Cunningham: Remember when everyone said that Conte had the hardest job of the new managers this season?

  9. Stats of the day

    Bournemouth 1-2 Sunderland

    • David Moyes has won his first Premier League game since a victory against Newcastle in April 2014 - 945 days ago.
    • Jack Wilshere made his 100th Premier League start today, over six and a half years since his first (Feb 2010 for Bolton v Man City).
    • Bournemouth's Adam Smith has provided more assists this season than any other Premier League defender (3).
    • Steven Pienaar has been sent off four times in the Premier League, all while playing under David Moyes (3 for Everton, 1 for Sunderland).
  10. Stats of the day

    Man City 1-1 Middlesbrough

    • Man City have failed to keep a clean sheet in nine of their 11 Premier League games under Pep Guardiola.
    • Sergio Aguero has now scored 150 goals in just 223 appearances in all competitions for Manchester City.
    • Martin de Roon scored his first Premier League goal in his eighth appearance in the competition.
    • City have drawn three consecutive home Premier League matches for the first time since November 2009 under Mark Hughes.
  11. I never score - De Roon

    Man City 1-1 Middlesbrough

    Middlesbrough

Marten de Roon looks like he has just won the Euromillions. The Boro hero is trying to do that serious 'interview' face - but can't help breaking out into a cheeky grin as he talks us through his equaliser.

"I saw George Friend getting the ball, I was wide on the right, I saw him take a touch and knew he was going to cross it," says the droll Dutchman, whose mobile phone constantly beeps with 'well done' messages.

"I saw the little Spaniard come in - City sub Alex Garcia - and knew I could get above him. The cross had so much power on it, it couldn't be stopped.

"I ran straight into the fans and i didn't know what was happening in my head. I never score, it was full happiness."

Imer Cardona: Conte started with 4-2-3-1, then saw results weren't good, changed to a 3-5-2 mid-game vs Arsenal and hasn't looked back since.

Cameron Andrews: 13 goals scored 0 conceded in 4 and a bit games since switching to 3 at the back. The Conte effect.

Benn Jatelo: Two goals that shouldn't have gone past the keeper, did I count five defenders at the back?

  13. 'We are not happy'

    West Ham 1-1 Stoke

    West Ham United

West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble, speaking to Match of the Day: "The goal we conceded could have been avoided. It wasn't the most enjoyable game of the season but at this stage of the season three points would have been massive for us. Unfortunately we didn't come away with them.

"We are not happy. We have got a draw but at the end of the season it could be a massive point for us. We're now four games unbeaten at home and looking forward.

"I'm hoping sooner or later it settles down [stories about the stadium]. Every little thing is picked up by the media and massively blown out of proportion."

  14. GOAL - Chelsea 2-0 Everton

    Marcos Alonso

It's two! Maarten Stekelenburg, keep your legs closed! The Dutch keeper saw the ball slip under his body for Chelsea's first, now Marcos Alonso has stuck one through the keeper's legs. Chelsea sweep forward, Pedro pings a cross, Alonso meets to finish. Game over?

    Alonso scores for Chelsea
  15. GOAL - Chelsea 1-0 Everton

    Eden Hazard

Who else? You just can't keep Eden Hazard down at the moment. It's a wonderful goal, cutting in from the left to curl a grass-cutter inside the far post. Remember, Chelsea will be top tonight if they win this.

    Eden Hazard celebrates
  16. 'Cheap goal'

    West Ham 1-1 Stoke

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic, speaking to Match of the Day: "It's a frustrating result but it's a fair result. It's a mistake by Adrian. It looked like he was never going to get to the ball. We gave that goal away very cheaply. We were 1-0 up with 15 minutes to go. A very cheap goal has cost us a win."

    Slaven Bilic
  17. Post update

    Chelsea 0-0 Everton

Seamus Coleman has drawn blood from Diego Costa, going over the top of the ball with the studs up to make a hole in the Chelsea striker's ankle. No card for Coleman, a challenge exactly the same as the one that drew a second booking for Steven Pienaar earlier today. All we want is consistency....

Will Kavanagh: Guardiola overrated. Never transformed a team in his entire managerial career. Arsenal have a real chance.

Lanre Adeola: 'Lawro' is a football Oracle. He said years ago that Moyes' team begins to play well when the clock goes back! Bull's eye!
