    Well, thanks for tuning in. It was a typical tense top-of-the-table clash until the final 10 minutes. Hard to see anything but another Scudetto for Juventus after their 25th consecutive home win. That is the form of champions.

    Hopefully we'll see you for some more European action soon.

    Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri repeatedly punches the air in celebration. Roma counterpart puffs his cheeks as he traipses down the tunnel.

    And that is it. The referee blows the final whistle. Roma huffed and puffed in the second half but were unable to blow the Juventus house down. The Grand Old Lady's legs might have creaked in the last five minutes but she was still standing at the end to claim all three points.

    Juventus now seven points clear of Roma at the top of the table. Overhauling that will take some doing.

    Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny arguably the man of the match here. He denies Stefano Sturaro's shot from a tight angle. Just four minutes of injury time left now.

    Into the last five minutes and Roma are throwing the kitchen sink at Juve. Stephan El Shaarawy forces Gianluigi Buffon to tip over with a header. Roma unable to make anything happen from the corner.

    Gonzalo Higuain's night is done and he is given an ovation by the Juventus fans. Argentine compatriot Paulo Dybala is his replacement, and shortly after coming on he attempts a long-range effort which keeps Wojciech Szczesny on his toes.

    Shortly after Kostas Manolas limps out clutching his hamstring and Bruno Peres comes on in his place.

    Roma dangerous again from a set-piece. A teasing ball misses everyone and Kostas Manolas pops up the back post, but he's not able to react quick enough and fails to get enough on the header. The visitors are having a right old go now.

    Roma's best chance of goal looks to be from a set-piece and a corner drops in the box for Antonio Rudiger. There are too many bodies in the way and Juventus are able to boot the ball away. 

    Moments later, Mohamed Salah tees up Diego Perotti but the latter scuffs his shot and veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is able to comfortably save.

    Giorgio Chiellini in an advanced position on the right wing and his clever pass finds Mario Mandzukic who tees up Stefano Sturaro. The midfielder strikes a low shot which is well saved by Wojciech Szczesny in the Roma goal. Juve looking the more likely to score.

    Radja Nainggolan is having a good game here. The Belgian comes deep looking for the ball. He attempts to split the Juventus defence and send Edin Dzeko racing clear only for Giorgio Chiellini to anticipate the win back possession.

    A corner into the box from Roma and Juve goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon flaps at the ball. The visitors unable to capitalise on the loose ball and Roma clear the danger.

    The Croatian striker can hardly believe nothing is given, and has a mini sitdown protest while complaining to the referee.
