    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

    Chris Waddle

Ex-England winger, BBC Radio 5 live at Anfield

It was a terrific second half.

You have to give Swansea credit they used the ball well.

Llorente was excellent today, Cork was good. The team were well drilled and organised.

Liverpool got going in the end but today they have not really played well.

  2. FULL-TIME

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

A huge result, at both ends of the Premier League table. Swansea's first ever win at Anfield lifts them off the bottom while also dealing a massive blow to Liverpool's title credentials. If I didn't have a report to write, I'd be lying down now.

  3. Post update

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

    Chris Waddle

Ex-England winger, BBC Radio 5 live at Anfield

There is a bit of panic about Liverpool. They are just hitting the ball anywhere.

  4. Post update

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

The Swansea fans are in bits. They are screaming for the whistle. One Swans fan looks about ready to combust as Liverpool float a long ball straight into the hands of Lukasz Fabianski.

  5. SUBSTITUTION

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

Liverpool send on defender Joel Matip... to play up front. Desperate times, desperate measures.

  6. SUBSTITUTION

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

Leroy Fer is down, trying to eat into this injury time. Looks like he's not just time-wasting, though. He is going off injured. On comes Jay Fulton.

We'll have added time to the added time.

  7. Post update

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

Liverpool are furious. They were away down the right but the ball is brought back for a free-kick. Their free-kick. Milner delivers this but it is headed away.

  8. YELLOW CARD

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

Leroy Fer takes one for the team, taking a yellow card to halt Liverpool's attack. We are into injury time - five minutes of it.

  10. Post update

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

    How have Liverpool not scored?!

Adam Lallana hits the top of the bar with a chipped cross-come-shot and then heads a yard over the bar after the ball had been nodded back in his direction by Daniel Sturridge.

  11. SUBSTITUTION

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

Eat into that time. Fernando Llorente takes his time leaving the pitch, to be replaced by the fresher and more mobile Borja Baston.

Ricology: Conceding 3 goals at home to bottom of the league, doesn't seem to fit a title Challenger. Awful defending!

Desalegn Hailemariam: Win or lose conceding three goals at home to a bottom team doesn't warranty a title. LFC's defence is allarmingly poor.

Khalid: Klavan has to be replaced if LFC are to mount a title challenge, he's just not good enough. January window will be key.

  13. Post update

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

Dejan Lovren goes close with a fierce strike from range that Lukasz Fabianski tips over the bar. Swansea do well to deal with the corner, courtesy of Federico Fernandez's head.

  14. SUBSTITUTION

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

Swansea make a change. On comes Angel Rangel for Martin Olsson. Time to dig deep.

  16. Post update

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

Liverpool are going to go for this hell for leather for the next 14 minutes. The ball pings around in the Swansea box before Divock Origi swivels to fire on goal. Lukasz Fabianski is down, though, and saves.

  17. Post update

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

    Chris Waddle

Ex-England winger, BBC Radio 5 live at Anfield

    Another well worked goal.

Liverpool's back four gave Swansea far too much space.

A little bit of good fortune but a good finish from Sigurdsson.

I could not see that coming.

  18. GOAL - Liverpool 2-3 Swansea

    Gylfi Sigurdsson

    You are kidding me?!

Swansea restore their lead as Gylfi Sigurdsson fires home from inside the box. Tom Carroll made it, driving into the box and forcing Ragnar Klavan to deflect the ball into the path of the Icelandic midfielder.

Is that the end of it? I doubt it.

    Liverpool 2-3 Swansea
  19. Post update

    Liverpool 2-2 Swansea

    Chris Waddle

Ex-England winger, BBC Radio 5 live at Anfield

Liverpool have upped the tempo. Their passing is crisper and it is early.

Swansea are starting to feel the pace now.

  20. SUBSTITUTION

    Liverpool 2-2 Swansea

No surprise here. Liverpool are going for it. To that end they send on Divock Origi for Emre Can.
