  1. That's a wrap

    Brentford 3-3 Brighton

    Tomer Hemed

That's your lot from us in here today and what a day it's been.

I thought that this match was going to have a lot to live up to after Huddersfield's dramatic late win over Leeds in our first match but that proved to be the tomato soup to the roast dinner that was to come.

Brighton remain second in the table with a scarcely believable 3-3 draw at Brentford. You can read the developing match report for the game here.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for joining us.

    Brentford 3-3 Brighton

    A pulsating match ends 3-3.

Brentford took a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Jota and Harlee Dean.

Lasse Vibe had the chance to make it 3-0 but David Stockdale saved his penalty and goals from Solly March and Shane Duffy levelled for Brighton.

The Seagulls went in search of an equaliser but looked to have been sucker punched when Konstantin Kerschbaumer scored in injury time.

With barely a minute left to play Tomer Hemed headed home to give second-placed Brighton a much-needed point.

  3. GOAL (Hemed)

    Brentford 3-3 Brighton

    I can't even...

Brentford fail to clear and Brighton get the ball back in the box for sub Tomer Hemed to level for the visitors again.

  4. Post update

    Brentford 3-2 Brighton

Lasse Vibe blazes over as the Bees look to seal a remarkable win.

  5. GOAL - (Kerschbaumer)

    Brentford 3-2 Brighton

    That is truly incredible!

Konstantin Kerschbaumer, he of the massive name, curls home a wonderfully measured finish with just two minutes of injury time to go.

It's the Austrian's first goal for the Bees.

  6. Post update

    Brentford 2-2 Brighton

That man Konstantin Kerschbaumer has been booked for cynically pulling someone back and to be honest I should have seen that coming.

Into the final four minutes of the seven added minutes.

  7. Post update

    Brentford 2-2 Brighton

We are into seven (7) minutes of injury time at Griffin Park.

  8. Post update

    Brentford 2-2 Brighton

    It's all Brighton now.

What a huge win this would be for them.

Konstantin Kerschbaumer has been brought on for the stricken Tom Field.

Hopefully he does nothing of note because his name takes me about a minute to type out.

  9. Post update

    Brentford 2-2 Brighton

Brentford defender Tom Field is in some trouble here.

His team are defending but the 19-year-old is not going to be able to continue from the looks of it.

  10. Post update

    Brentford 2-2 Brighton

Heading towards the final five minutes now.

Can Brighton complete a remarkable comeback or will Brentford find a third goal to win this game all over again?

  11. Post update

    Brentford 2-2 Brighton

So nearly a third for Brighton.

Shane Duffy is the man again but this time he can not force the ball over the line and Daniel Bentley makes a good save.

Brentford bring on Alan McCormack for Nico Yennaris.

  12. GOAL (Duffy)

    Brentford 2-2 Brighton

    Shane Duffy

Yeah, yeah, we DO have a game on our hands.

Shane Duffy heads in an equaliser and now Brighton are searching for a winner to go back to the top of the table.

Just over 10 minutes to go.

  13. GOAL (March)

    Brentford 2-1 Brighton

Well, well, well we could have quite a finish on our hands.

Sub Solly March thunders home an unstoppable shot and Brighton are back in this.

  14. Post update

    Brentford 2-0 Brighton

Brighton make their third and final change with Tomer Hemed coming on for Glenn Murray.

Murray has had better games I think it's fair to say.

  15. Post update

    Brentford 2-0 Brighton

Brentford bring on Sergi Canos for his second debut for the club.

The Spaniard rejoined on Tuesday after spending the 2015-16 season on loan at Griffin Park.

    He replaces Florian Jozefzoon.

  16. Post update

    Brentford 2-0 Brighton

Brentford midifelder Josh McEachran earns himself a booking for a challenge on Steve Sidwell and Sidwell joins him in the book for his reaction to the tackle.

Meanwhile, the Seagulls bring on Chuba Akpom for Jamie Murphy.

We have 25 minutes to play.

  17. Post update

    Brentford 2-0 Brighton

Nico Yennaris fires straight at Seagulls keeper David Stockdale.

The Bees have not let that penalty miss put them off their stride and are still searching for a third goal.

    Brentford 2-0 Brighton

    Brentford v Brighton

Lasse Vibe thumps his penalty down the middle and Brighton keeper David Stockdale manages to divert it over the bar.

Could that let-off prove to be a huge moment in this game?

    Brentford 2-0 Brighton

Jota is brought down in the area and the hosts have a penalty to make it 3-0.

  20. Post update

    Brentford 2-0 Brighton

All Brighton so far this half but Bees keeper Daniel Bentley is yet to be called into action.

Seagulls striker Glenn Murray cuts inside and fires high over the bar.
