    Lucas Vasquez (90+3 mins)

    Vazquez goal

    Three points bagged.

We have seen some neat finishes this evening and this is another from Real Madrid substitute Lucas Vasquez.

The Spaniard runs on to Marcelo's pass, after Cristiano Ronaldo's superb dummy, before waiting for Salvatore Sirigu to go down and chipping the ball into the net.

    Lovely stuff.

Osasuna's Goran Causic gets a late booking for a trip on James Rodriguez.

Three minutes of added times, we have played one of it.

  6. Post update

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

Chance for Osasuna to grab a late leveller, but Emmanuel Riviere's flicked effort from Alex Berenguer's pass dribbles into the hands of Keylor Navas.

At the other end, James Rodriguez breaks clear to find Lucas Vasquez, but the ball is slightly behind the Real Madrid man who cannot adjust his body enough in an attempt to get the ball on target.

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

Final change from Zinedine Zidane to eat up a few more seconds.

The match-winner - as it stands - Isco makes way for Mateo Kovacic.

    Three minutes to play.

  8. Post update

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

    Into the last five minutes...

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

Keylor Navas has kept Real Madrid in this game.

The Costa Rican goalkeeper makes another flying save, this time to his left following Sergio Leon's thumping drive from the edge of the box.

And Real want to replace him because....?

  10. Post update

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

The best thing James Rodriguez has done so far: Ping a ball into the feet of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Ballon d'Or holder jinks right and then onto his left peg, but his shot is screwed high and wide of goal.

Ronaldo turns around and curses at the turf.

  11. Post update

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

Into the last 10 minutes. Can Real Madrid hold on? They go top of La Liga if they do.

    Isco in action

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo takes Lucas Vasquez's cross down with his chest in the box.

Six yards out, David Garcia comes across and sticks his arm out onto the chest of Ronaldo.

The Portuguese man goes down and looks at the referee. Penalty??

No says the man with the whistle.

That one is in the 'seen them given' category.

  13. CLOSE!

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

    Nearly game over.

Cristiano Ronaldo brilliantly plucks a ball out of the air which puts him one-on-one with Salvatore Sirigu.

The Osasuna man is in no-man's land, but sticks a foot out to save Ronaldo's low strike.

From the resulting corner, Sergio Ramos is free at the back post, but the Spain international cannot find the target with his header from around three yards out.

Will those misses come back to haunt Real Madrid?

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

Karim Benzema's work is done, he can have a breather. Lucas Vasquez is the man to replace him with 20 minutes to go.

  15. Post update

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

Osasuna are pushing forward now but will leave gaps are the back for Cristiano Ronaldo to exploit.

Visiting goalkeeper Keylor Navas has not had a save to make since the start of the second half though.

  16. Post update

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

How can Osasuna respond? Remember, they are bottom of La Liga, eight points from safety.

  17. GOAL - Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

    Isco (62 mins)

    Isco goal

Barely deserved but Real Madrid regain the lead.

Karim Benzema skips into the box but Nikola Vujadinovic stops him in his tracks.

Trouble though, as the ball falls nicely into the path of Isco as the midfielder darts onto the loose ball before caressing a finish into the far post.

As it stands, Real going back to the top of La Liga.

    Isco celebrates

    Osasuna 1-1 Real Madrid

James Rodriguez has had a forgettable return to the pitch so far.

Fell over with his first touch and now he is into the referee's book for a late challenge on David Garcia.

    Osasuna 1-1 Real Madrid

Third and final change for Osasuna.

Fausto Tienza being replaces by Raoul Loe.

    Half an hour to play.

  20. Post update

    Osasuna 1-1 Real Madrid

James Rodriguez has not played for the last six weeks and his first act is to tread on the ball and fall over.

No wonder Zinedine Zidane does not rate him.
