  1. Post update

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

Another Leeds attack, another Leeds half chance.

It's Ronaldo Vieira with it, attempting to stab the ball in at the far post, but he doesn't connect properly and it's comfortably saved.

  2. Villa stuck at it - Bruce

    Aston Villa 2-0 Norwich City

Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce was pleased with the battling qualities his side showed in their win over Norwich. The Villans kept a sixth clean sheet in seven matches to move to 10 points off the play-offs.

"They have got some very decent players but we showed some resilience and my goalkeeper (Sam Johnstone) had a very good game," he told BBC WM.

"We were a little bit leggy with players having been on international duty but we stuck at it."

He added: "It would take a few to collapse but you can quite easily go in this division.

"Lets do our own job. Can we go and keep winning and if we keep winning then who knows."

Right then - 10 minutes left, one goal in the game, two teams desperately wanting three points to aid their play-off push.

  4. Post update

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

Ali Al-Habsi has almost had an absolute shocker there, moving across his goal to field a sighter from Souleymane Doukara but spilling it behind for a corner. If that was on target it would've been absolutely horrible for the Reading goalkeeper.

Again, the subsequent set-piece comes to nothing.

  5. Post update

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

The officials decide not to take any action at all, as it happens.

Only Liam Cooper will know whether he meant to connect with the head of the floored Reece Oxford, but there's no doubt he does connect.

We may not have heard the last of that one.

  6. Post update

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

But the set-piece comes to nothing and then Liam Cooper fouls Reece Oxford.

Now, Reading's Tyler Blackett is absolutely furious here - has Cooper put his foot on Oxford's head as he tried to step over him?

The referee and linesmen are in discussion...

  7. Post update

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

We're into the final 20 minutes at the Madejski Stadium, where Reading are still ahead. They'll leapfrog Leeds in the Championship table if it does stay this way.

The Royals create another decent opportunity through Garath McCleary, but Yann Kermorgant can't guide his cross towards goal.

Straight up the other end of the field, Leeds have themselves a corner...

  8. Town defeat leaves Wagner frustrated

    Huddersfield Town 0-1 Burton Albion

Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner felt his side were not clinical enough in their defeat by Burton. The third-placed Terriers lost to a last minute goal from Jackson Irvine.

He told BBC Radio Leeds: "We're all frutrated and disappointed. The players tried everything and they worked and they really wanted to get the three points.

"We made some wrong decisions in the final third and we weren't good enough in our offensive situations."

Wagner added: "We have to accept that they worked with their weapons and in the end they got the result.

"It's not the kind of thing I would like to see from my team but they got their result and congratulations to them."

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

And now a third and final change by the hosts, who replace Jordan Obita with Reece Oxford at the back.

Meanwhile, Yann Kermorgant attempts a near-post header but Rob Green comfortably tips it over the crossbar.

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

Leeds are pressing a good 20 or 30 yards further up the pitch in this second half and it's making such a difference. Reading are still trying to play the ball out from the back, all the while, but only look like playing themselves into trouble.

Jordan Mutch replaces Liam Kelly for Reading, Kavlin Phillips replaces Alfonso Pedraza for Leeds.

Is Royals manager Jaap Stam a worried chap? He may well be...

    Jaap Stam

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

A couple of substitutions to tell you about, one for each side.

Souleymane Doukara replaces Hadi Sacko for Leeds, before Lewis Grabban comes on for Roy Beerens for the men in blue and white.

  12. Post update

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

    Roy Beerens

This has been such an odd game, in a lot of respects. Long passages of harmless, going-nowhere-in-a-hurry possession and then bang - a couple of great chances in quick succession.

Reading have had the pick of them, make no mistake about that, but Leeds have been improved since half-time and are still well in this match.

  13. Wolves were excellent - Lambert

    Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 Cardiff City

Wolves boss Paul Lambert was delighted with his side's performance in their win over Cardiff City. The Molineux side have now won four successive games to move clear of relegation danger.

"I thought we were excellent and it was a well-deserved win. Some of the football we played was fantastic," he told BBC WM.

"We're exciting to watch and we've got a lot of flair players going forward."

He added: "We've taken 13 points from 15 and that's really good going. We were playing well before then without getting the results in my opinion. "

  14. Beerens 'missed the ball'

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

    Mick Gooding

Ex-Reading player/manager on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

"It was a fantastic pass from Yann Kermorgant. Reading are just getting back to the way they are playing in the first half.

"Beerens' first touch looked good but, with his second, he missed the ball!"

  15. Post update

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

Oh dear, Reading aren't doing themselves any favours here.

Royals midfielder Roy Beerens is in absolutely acres in the penalty area, completely unmarked at the far post, but after bringing the ball under control he completely fluffs his shot and the chance goes begging.

How many more opportunities are they doing to need?

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

John Swift is the first man into the book for a foul on Chris Wood, who again touches the ball!

But the set-piece is drifted straight into the arms of the Reading goalkeeper - and, in fact, the referee had spotted a foul too.

They need to be making a bit more of those opportunities, do Leeds.

  17. Clough praises attitude of goalscorer Irvine

    Huddersfield Town 0-1 Burton Albion

Burton boss Nigel Clough praised match-winner Jackson Irvine after his side's late win at Huddersfield. The Australia international tapped home in injury time to give the Brewers a surprise victory at the third-placed Terriers.

"He wanted to start today. He's played two games, flown to Iran, flown to Sydney and only got back on Wednesday night," he told BBC Radio Derby.

"It's so difficult because you don't want to leave one of your best players out of the team but he's been tired when he's come back to us without playing.

"The one thing we said is he wouldn't have made that run if he had started the game."

  18. Post update

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

Even Chris Wood has touched the ball a couple of times since half-time. Here's the evidence...

    Chris Wood

Leeds could do with the big man popping up with one of his trademark goals though. Reading, for the record, are one of the 18 he has already scored against in 2016-17.

  19. Post update

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

The attack fizzles out almost as quickly as it got started, but that's a bit more like it from Garry Monk's men.

It's funny that, for as good as Reading have been, Leeds have still carved out a couple of really good opportunities.

This one is far from over, in other words.

  20. KICK-OFF

    Reading 1-0 Leeds

Leeds United, in yellow today, kick off the second half shooting towards their massive travelling contingent of supporters.

They're immediately on the attack too...
