What they said

Cliftonville 3-2 Linfield

Today sums up what we've been waiting for - a total team performance. I'm delighted for the players, they've taken as much flak as I have in recent weeks, and deservedly so. We've had to take our fair share of criticism, but today it's come off and that's credit to the players. The big question now is can we take the next step and kick on from this result. I think we can close the door to the first part of the season and maybe draw a line, but it's all down to the next game.

Barry GrayCliftonville manager

What they said

Cliftonville 3-2 Linfield

We're hugely disappointed, to lose the game after being two up. I don't think we were comfortable though even when we were ahead and Cliftonville played well. The players are hurting, I'm hurting but you hope you're strong enough at 2-0 up and we should have seen the game out today, but Cliftonville were on the front foot from the word go, so credit must go to them. I think there were questionable decisions made today. I think for the last goal, we cleared the ball and there was a clear foul which wasn't given. I'll expect a reaction from the players and we'll get going again for the next game.

David HealyLinfield manager

What they said

Ballymena United 0-2 Coleraine

There's no doubt the better side won and saying that, our keeper didn't have too much to do, but that's probably the poorest we've played all season. I don't have any clear answers for the performance we produced today. We worked all week in training to pick up players when defending free-kicks and we didn't do it. It's down to the players and we didn't do our job properly. We dominated for periods but we didn't get the goal, we rallied in the second-half but again it didn't go our way. We've worked so hard but we're bitterly disappointed.

David JeffreyBallymena United manager

What they said

Ballinamallard 0-2 Ards

It's tough to take. I thought we were the better side, particularly when we went down to 10 men. I thought we were brave in possession, but when you're down these things go against you. I feel sorry for the players because I can't ask for anymore from them. We play Linfield in the League Cup on Tuesday night then we have a bit of a break and I think we need a bit of a break at the moment. Today though, I thought we played really well and it's definitely difficult to accept.

Gavin DykesBallinamallard United manager

What they said

Ballinamallard 0-2 Ards

It was a bit of a strange game. They stuck in when they went down to ten men and credit to them, but the luck was with us, and it hasn't been so far this season. I'm not disputing that we rode our luck and didn't play like we can, but we're over the moon to get the win. It wasn't pretty but when the confidence is low that's the way it is. It wasn't easy to watch, at times this job is absolutely brutal when you're watching games and I went through a rollercoaster of emotions. We're not carried away but it's a good win.

Colin NixonArds manager

FULL-TIME

Ballinamallard 0-2 Ards

It's another desperately disappointing day for the Mallards as, despite a gutsy performance with ten men, Ards take all three points with late goals by Jonny Frazer and Michael McLellan. Earlier, Josh McIlwaine was sent off for two bookable offences as the Mallards' search for a first win continues.

FULL-TIME

Warrenpoint Town 2-2 Carrick Rangers

It finishes all-square at Milltown and Carrick remain two points clear of 11th-placed Warrenpoint.

FULL-TIME

Cliftonville 3-2 Linfield

Three points for Cliftonville. A stunning comeback late in the game seals three points for the Reds as Linfield's defence finally caved under the pressure.

Aaron Burns' brace had put the Blues in the driving seat, but a late show with goals from Chris Curran, Jay Donnelly and Garry Breen has clinched a dramatic victory for Barry Gray's men.

FULL-TIME

Ballymena Utd 0-2 Coleraine

Deserved derby win for the Bannsiders and as it stands they will stretch their lead at the top of the Premiership to four points.

GOAL

Cliftonville 3-2 Linfield

Garry Breen has scored and Cliftonville have turned it around!

What scenes at Solitude as the big centre-half steals in to head home what surely has to be the winner in stoppage time. Linfield look shattered.

What a fightback from Barry Gray's side, though, who have once again done it the hard way.

CLOSE!

Cliftonville 2-2 Linfield

Curran misses his header from three yards as Garrett makes a last-ditch intervention!

GOAL

Ballinamallard 0-2 Ards

Michael McLellan doubles Ards' advantage to seal the three points and pile the misery on Gavin Dykes' side. It's been a gutsy performance by the home team at Ferney Park, who have played much of the game with ten men, but it's Ards who have shown the telling touch when it's mattered.

GOAL

Cliftonville 2-2 Linfield

Jay Donnelly heads home the equaliser!

Solitude suddenly erupts into life as Donnelly finds the net and sets up a rousing finale. Curran, not for the first time today, was central to the attack, getting to the by-line down the right before clipping a cross back to the substitute.

It must be said, it's nothing more than Cliftonville deserve.

GOAL

Ballinamallard 0-1 Ards

Ards have taken a late lead through Jonny Frazer, who is on hand to head home David McAllister's cross!

GOAL

Warrenpoint Town 2-2 Carrick Rangers

Michael Smith heads past keeper Alan Blayney from close range to equalise for Carrick with 13 minutes left. Both sides are chasing just a second win in the Premiership this season.

GOAL

Cliftonville 1-2 Linfield

The Reds are back in the game! Chris Curran fires a brilliant shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the area, which flies past Carroll.

Ten minutes to go.

Ballymena Utd 0-0 Coleraine

Eoin Bradley flicks the ball over United keeper Conor Brennan and falls in the box - there's no penalty but some Ballymena players think the striker has gone down far too easily. It sparks a bit of shouting and shoving and results in a yellow for home defender Anddrew Burns and Coleraine winger Darren McCauley.

CLOSE!

Ballinamallard 0-0 Ards

Mallards come close to the breakthrough as Jonathan Leddy's header is cleared off the line - that's the closest they have come to finding that elusive opener!

MISS!

Cliftonville 0-2 Linfield

Well it just hasn't been Gormley's day as another chance goes begging. The forward did well to engineer some space in the box but fired his effort against the Linfield defender and out for a corner.

Bannsiders bandwagon continues to roll

Ballymena Utd 0-2 Coleraine

Just over 15 minutes left at Warden Street and Coleraine are poised to chalk up another three points to stay top of the pile in the Premiership. Eoin Bradley barges clear and rifles low on goal but Sky Blues keeper Conor Brennan makes the block to maintain slim hopes of getting something from this derby for the hosts.

GOAL

Cliftonville 0-2 Linfield

Burns doubles the lead from the penalty spot!

That could be the killer blow. It looked like Cliftonville had been given a lift after Jay Donnelly's introduction, but fighting back now might be beyond their reach.

Jamie McGovern brought Burns down and there could be no complaints about the decision. Burns stepped up and the shot had too much power for Neeson, who could only palm the ball into the net.

Lull at Solitude

Cliftonville 0-1 Linfield

Very little life to the game at the moment, which will suit Linfield just fine. No pace or rhythm from either side at the moment and Barry Gray has decided it's time to make a change, with Jay Donnelly coming on to replace Lavery with just under 30 minutes remaining.

Mallards pushing for the breakthrough

Ballinamallard 0-0 Ards

They may have a numerical disadvantage, but Ballinamallard are pressing for an opener. Ryan Curran shot wide from a decent position. A few minutes later, Curran finds himself with an even better chance to score, rounding Hogg only to fire his effort into the side-netting.

Mallards should be ahead.

GOAL

Ballymena Utd 0-2 Coleraine

A cool finish from Jamie McGonigle doubles Coleraine's lead on 57 minutes. United made a bright start to the second half but McGonigle hits their hopes of a comeback by placing the ball low past keeper Conor Brennan from eight yards.

Jamie McGonigle makes it 2-0 to leaders Coleraine at Ballymena

SAVE!

Cliftonville 0-1 Linfield

Gormley turns sharply inside the area and gets his shot away but it lacks power and is no trouble for Carroll at his near post.

Watch Coleraine take lead

Ballymena Utd 0-1 Coleraine

Here is that Coleraine goal - Stephen O'Donnell getting the finish in the 32nd minute.

It's still the difference between the derby rivals early in the second half at the Warden Street Showgrounds.

O'Donnell heads Coleraine into lead at Ballymena

GOAL

Warrenpoint Town 2-1 Carrick Rangers

Stephen Murray bursts through and fires low under keeper Harry Doherty to put Town in front a minute into the second half. It's a first goal of the season for Murray and a fine comeback from the hosts after trailing early in the Milltown game.

Opening up at Solitude

Cliftonville 0-1 Linfield

Cliftonville are beginning to find themselves in pockets of space high up the pitch and you would have to think that would suit the Reds. They have had numerous crosses into the box this afternoon but without ever really testing Carroll. Need to find that cutting edge.

SUBSTITUTION

Cliftonville 0-1 Linfield

The away side make a change as Louis Rooney is replaced by Ryan Strain.

Sky Blues have it all to do!

Ballymena Utd 0-1 Coleraine

It's been an indifferent half from Ballymena. Their forwards are not holding the ball up - they are not doing their jobs. The Sky Blues need a big shake-up. Coleraine are deservedly ahead at the break and they could be further in front. Territorially most of the play has been in the Ballymena half.

WIDE!

Cliftonville 0-1 Linfield

In the last piece of action before the half-time whistle, Chris Casement fires his 25-yard free-kick just wide. Good effort to lift it over the wall, just lacking the accuracy.

HALF-TIME

Ballymena Utd 0-1 Coleraine

The Premiership pacesetters are on course for an eighth win in nine games thanks to Stephen O'Donnell's goal.

GOAL

Warrenpoint Town 1-1 Carrick Rangers

Town are level just before the break and it's a smasher from Neil McCafferty, who hits the Carrick net with a superb 25-yard free-kick

RED CARD

Ballinamallard 0-0 Ards

Josh McIlwaine is sent off for a second yellow card and the Mallards are down to ten men! It was a reckless challenge on Guillame Keke and the referee had no choice. It heaps the misery on the Mallards, whose chase for a first win this season becomes that little bit more complicated.
