  1. Good night

It was indeed, three very good wins on the road for Celtic, Manchester United and Chelsea.

That's all from us for the night! See you Thursday for more Europa League goodness.

  2. 'Hazard's performance was amazing'

    Atletico Madrid 1-2 Chelsea

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte speaking to BT Sport: "Our performance was very good so I am very pleased for my players.

"When you go 1-0 down it's very difficult to come back but we continued to play very well in the second-half and concentrated well.

    "We deserved to win.

"I think we prepared for the game very well. My players showed me great desire, will and concentration.

"They showed we deserved to play these types of games.

"We must be very happy because Eden Hazard's performance was amazing and it was the first big game for him after his injury.

"His answer was fantastic and positive. He had a great link with Alvaro Morata and I am happy for Michy Batshuayi but also Willian played very well.

"Andreas Christensen played well and with great personality too."

  3. 'A big achievement'

    Anderlecht 0-3 Celtic

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers: "It was an outstanding performance and result. We gave the ball away loosely at times and needed to be cleaner in our build-up play.

"There are still areas to improve but they were exceptional. I think you can see the fitness of the players. For a Scottish team to come away and get a 3-0 victory and keep a clean sheet at this level is a big achievement."

  4. 'Lucky to play with Hazard'

    Atletico Madrid 1-2 Chelsea

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata speaking to BT Sport: "It is a very important win for us. It was a big test.

"Atletico Madrid were in the Champions League final a few years ago and now we can go home relaxed and put this mentality into the Premier League.

"It is always a good feeling to score the first goal in a new stadium. I am very happy.

"It is great to play with a player like Eden Hazard. He is one of the best in the world and I am very lucky to play with him.

"I am happy with my start but the most important thing is the team and winning the game."

"We are almost there. There was not so much PlayStation football tonight, just a little bit of relaxation. That is normal."

  13. 'A seismic victory for Celtic'

    Anderlecht 0-3 Celtic

    Tom English

    Chief sports writer, BBC Scotland

It was a really accomplished performance in the second half. It never dawned on me once that Celtic were in any kind of danger of being pushed to the wire on this. They looked very mature, very accomplished. It's a seismic victory for them. In the context of playing European football after Christmas this is huge.

  14. Blades flying

    Sheffield United 2-0 Wolves

Leon Clarke scored either side of half-time as Sheffield United beat Wolves to go second in the Championship tonight.

They were good value for their win, but were helped by the dismissal of Wolves defender Conor Coady for pulling down Clarke as he chased a through ball.

Wolves also missed a penalty when trailing 1-0, as Ruben Neves hit the post after Diogo Jota had been fouled.

Ex-Wolves man Clarke, who scored twice in Sunday's win over Sheffield rivals Wednesday, converted two crosses.

    Basel celebrate historic night

Well, if that late Chelsea winner wasn't enough to round-off another exciting Champions League night, Basel fans will be absolutely delighted.

They produced a sensational performance to secure a 5-0 (Yes, FIVE) win over Portuguese side Benfica.

Paris-St Germain were dominant in France as they beat Bayern Munich 3-0 and Barcelona took the spoils in Portugal with a 1-0 win over Sporting Lisbon thanks to an own goal from Sebastian Coates.

Juventus 2-0 Olympiakos was the result in the final game in Group D.

  18. WHAT a win

    Atletico Madrid 1-2 Chelsea

    Paris St-Germain 3-0 Bayern Munich

All over in Paris and Bayern have been handed a lesson in finishing by big-spending Paris St-Germain. What a statement by Unai Emery's side.

And no doubt about the man of the match. Take a bow Kylian Mbappe. Outstanding performance by the teenager.
