  1. Post update

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

That's all from the John Smith's Stadium.

Our coverage of today's Premier League action continues here.

    Thanks for joining me.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

The delivery isn't an incisive one, and as Huddersfield hack the ball away, Paul Tierney blows the full-time whistle.

Not a classic - but both sides will reflect on what might have been if Burnley had been rightly awarded a penalty for Lossl's clumsy challenge on Hendrick.

    Sean Dyche shakes hands

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

Huddersfield sub Joe Lolley goes in the back is all over Jack Cork and concedes a free-kick.

Good opportunity for Burnley to whip one in, here.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

Three minutes left for a winner.

  5. CLOSE!

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

Heart in the mouth time for Huddersfield!

Wells goes so close to scoring against his former club. The striker gets on the end of Vokes header from all of six yards, but Lossl saves with his legs.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

Final change for Huddersfield, with Danny Williams on for Collin Quaner.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

Another change for Burnley, as former Huddersfield man Nahki Wells comes on at the John Smith's.

What a story it would be if the Bermudan can break the deadlock.

Nahki Wells prepares to come on as a substitute
  8. The heat is off

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

    Huddersfield Heat Map

Not much heat in the second half on a chilly afternoon at the John Smith's Stadium. Much more even in the second half with very little happening in the final third.

    Hot water bottle anyone?

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

A poor challenge from Burnley captain Ben Mee as he goes in late on Collin Quaner.

Mee just left a foot dangling and there was no hesitation from the referee in showing the card.

We'll have a break in play while Quaner takes treatment, but it looks like he'll be OK to continue.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

Burnley make their first change, with Jeff Hendrick off in place of Sam Vokes.

  11. 'Definitely a penalty'

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

    Alex Bruce

    Wigan defender on Final Score

Definitely a penalty for me. It's good skill from Jeff Hendrick to take him around Jonas Lossl and the defender's clipped him, there's plenty of contact there. We've seen it a few times now and it's definitely a penalty.

  12. Post update

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

There's no questioning it should have been a penalty for Burnley, there.

Lossl leaves his right leg out and it clatters the right leg of Hendrick. Perhaps the positioning of the referee helped bail the home sides out, there, as Mr Tierney had a few players obscuring his view of the incident.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

We have a big talking point at the John Smith's and it's a HUGE let-off for Huddersfield.

Scott Arfield and Jeff Hendrick combine after Tommy Smith's error and as Hendrick attempts to knock the ball past the advancing Jonas Lossl; Hendrick is clearly caught and he goes down... but Paul Tierney isn't interested.

Jeff Hendrick appears to be fouled

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

Another change for the hosts, as Tom Ince makes way for Joe Lolley.

    Tom Ince
  15. CLOSE!

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

Arfield so close to breaking the deadlock as his effort is parried out by Lossl, before being cleared.

  16. Post update

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

At the other end, Phil Bardsley tries his luck from 20 yards, but Lossl isn't troubled by his effort.

  17. Post update

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

From a Huddersfield perspective, that's more like it.

Collin Quaner, Tommy Smith and Aaron Mooy combine down the right before Pope catches a dangerous cross from the Australian.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

We are ready to get going again at the John Smith's.

Huddersfield are making their first substitution, with Tommy Smith on in place of Florent Hadergjonaj.

The Swiss was clattered by Scott Arfield just before the break, so that could be the reason that David Wagner has decided to make a change.

  19. Who's going down?

    Danny Mills

Ex-England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

Swansea and West Brom have big problems. You need a goalscorer down there. I still think Palace and Bournemouth but I think West Ham will get out of there.

I think from Newcastle down, they are the six who will be in trouble. Brighton and Huddersfield were the two you would look at early season but they are punching well above their weight. They are getting stronger.

  20. Post update

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

The Terriers are edging the possession stakes at half-time, but as this graphic shows, they've not ventured into Burnley's third of the pitch all too often.

The home side were content to soak up the pressure, so it'll be interesting to see if the roles are reversed in the next 45 minutes.
