Spurs and Burnley team news...

Tottenham v Burnley (Sun, 16:00 BST)

Tottenham await news on whether record signing Davinson Sanchez will receive clearance in time to play.

The trio of Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, Erik Lamela and Danny Rose remain on the sidelines.

Burnley forward Jonathan Walters has been ruled out after injuring his ankle against Blackburn on Wednesday.

Manager Sean Dyche must decide whether or not to hand record signing Chris Wood his full debut.

Perisic '99% dead' for Man Utd

Simon Stone

BBC Sport

I am told Manchester United’s attempt to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan is 99% dead.

The two clubs were close to agreeing a deal at one point this summer but the gap could not be bridged and Perisic has been playing – and scoring for Inter in the opening games of the season.

It would take something extraordinary to happen for that transfer to be concluded now.

Does Jose Mourinho have another option?

Maybe he will tell us when he speaks to the media at 1330BST.

'The team will improve'

Newcastle v West Ham (Sat, 15:00 BST)

Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez has been speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow's home tie against West Ham.

Not the best start for the newly promoted side - so far they have picked up a total of zero points...

"I have confidence the team will improve, if we keep working the way we are now. We are reducing the number of players we have, and we can keep looking for different options in the market."

Rafa Benítez

He also brings us some team news...

"Florian Lejeune is not ready, DeAndre Yedlin is still not ready and Karl Darlow (keeper) has a knock and will not be on the bench."

Jonjo Shelvey serves the final game of a three-match ban.

Next up is Rafa...

Man City news conference

Bournemouth v Man City (12:30 BST)

Pep brings team news...

"Benjamin Mendy is travelling with us. I don’t know if he will play. Kyle Walker cannot play. Ilkay Gundogan will play with the second team".

Pep also brings thoughts on Alexis Sanchez and other so-called transfer targets...

"Sanchez is an Arsenal player, like Mbappe is Monaco and Jonny Evans is West Brom. You have to ask Alexis. "

So that settled that - sort of.

Man City news conference

Bournemouth v Man City (12:30 BST)

Pep Guardiola

Pep Guardiola: "We dropped two points but in general we made good things. I am happy with the performances so far this season.

"Bournemouth are a team who want to play. The manager is so good in those terms. They start with two defeats but sometimes that can happen".

So what of their chances in the Champions League... Just a reminder, they have Shakhtar Donetsk, Napoli and Feyenoord.

"In UCL you expect the first and second pot to be strong but I think Napoli are one of the three best teams in Europe right now."

And now it's Pep's turn.

What does Guardiola have to say before Manchester City's trip down the M6 to Bournemouth...

No Leicester title repeat - Mourinho

Man Utd v Leicester (Saturday: 17:30 BST)

Manchester United

Jose Mourinho believes Leicester City will not repeat their Premier League title triumph of 2015-16.

The Foxes visit Manchester United on Saturday, and Red Devils boss Mourinho said: "Are they going to be champions again?

"Honestly, I don't think so. The other teams are not all going to fail."

Ibrahimovic is our 'extra man'

Manchester United

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be Manchester United's 'extra man' after Christmas, says boss Jose Mourinho.

Ibrahimovic re-joined the Red Devils on Thursday but is not ready to return to action after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury towards the end of last season.

"He won't be ready for the group phase of the Champions League," said Mourinho. "No chance of that. Hopefully he can play in the knockout stage but for that we have to finish in top two.

"I just think he will be extra man for us in the second part of the season."

Jose's speaking. So we all need to listen.

Not really. You can listen/ read if you want to.

'Koeman has built a really strong team' - Conte

Chelsea v Everton (Sun, 13:30 BST)

And what of Chelsea's opponents on Sunday...

"Ronald Koeman has built a really strong team. This season they improved a lot and we must pay great attention on Sunday.

It's important after a really good win over Tottenham to continue in this way."

Conte also has a quick word on their Champions League group where they will face Atletico Madrid, Roma and Qarabag...

"It's a tough group but when you play these types of competition you must be prepared to face strong teams. It's very difficult to say if it's a good group stage or a bad group stage. It's important to do our best."

No news on Costa...

Chelsea v Everton (Sun, 13:30 BST)

Conte is obviously not in the mood for a chat today.

The Italian passes up the opportunity to speak about potential transfer targets at other clubs and says there is also no more news on that old Diego Costa situation.

"My focus is only on the pitch. The club is working very hard... and we will see what happens at the end of the transfer market. We have to continue to work. If we stay with these players I am very happy."

Antonio Conte says he is surprised the injured Eden Hazard has been called up to the Belgium squad for forthcoming internationals, but respects the decision.

He says everyone BUT Hazard will be fit for Sunday's home tie with Everton.

"He is playing with the Under-23s to continue to improve".

The 26-year-old, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid this window, fractured his right ankle while on international duty.

Do Tottenham have enough time to get three players?

He also confirmed Georges-Kevin N'Koudou (foot), Danny Rose (knee) and Erik Lamela (hip) will all miss the game against Burnley on Sunday.

Carter-Vickers deal done

The 19-year-old has made just four appearances for Tottenham.

Crystal Palace v Swansea (Sat 15:00 BST)

Crystal Palace

Frank de Boer has obviously not been informed that West Brom have signed Oliver Burke...

He said: "Oliver Burke is a very interesting player for the future. We've looked at a lot of players, not specifically him.

"We'll be looking at a striker too. Behind Christian Benteke, we don't really have a fit competitive striker."

"We respect our opponents"

Crystal Palace v Swansea (Sat, 15:00 BST)

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer: "Swansea have always been a team I have loved to watch. They have typically always been very organised.

Here's what he had to say...

"A lot of things are possible"

Liverpool v Arsenal (Sun, 16:00 BST)

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on transfers: "Until Aug 31st a lot of things are really possible, in and out. Divock Origi wasn't in the squad against Hoffenheim - that shows how big the quality here is."

"Everyone thought: 'Andy Robertson? From Hull? But he showed up against Crystal Palace. James Milner in midfield is like a transfer."

"I'm fine with offence and fine with defence. We've got 3 out of 4 and we should have won the other. We work with what we have."

And on Coutinho: "He's on our injury list - that hasn't changed. No contact with Brazil FA but if they want to check him that's how it is.

"We don't know anything about Maribor"

Liverpool v Arsenal (Sun, 16:00 BST)

Jurgen Klopp on the Champions League draw: "We watched it after training together. I didn't understand why the draw was interrupted by Ronaldo & all that stuff.

"We remember the final v Sevilla and the quality they have shown in European competitions. Maribor, we don't know anything about."

"Nothing major"

Liverpool v Arsenal (Sun, 16:00 BST)

Jurgen Klopp on availability: "Only small things, nothing major. Trent Alexander-Arnold has a dead leg, Emre Can had a little twist - shouldn't be too serious.

"I was waiting for the message to say Georginio Wijnaldum's baby had arrived! He will be available for Sunday."

Well it has arrived Jurgen! Look at this lovely message...

Meanwhile, Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp and Crystal Palace's Frank de Boer have been speaking to the press.

Wales squad announced - Bale is back

Wales' World Cup qualifiers v Austria & Moldova

Chris Coleman has named his Wales squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Austria and Moldova.

And the big news is, Gareth Bale is back.

The Real Madrid forward missed June's draw in Serbia after receiving his second booking of the campaign against the Republic of Ireland in March.

There are plenty of representatives from the Premier League including Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey and Stoke's Joe Allen.

Liverpool's Danny Ward and Ben Woodburn have also been selected, as well as Everton's Ashley Williams.

Chelsea's 16-year-old Ethan Ampadu is in Chris Coleman's squad for the first time.
