  2. McIntyre unhappy with first-half display

    Ross County 1-3 Rangers

Ross County manager Jim McIntyre tells BBC Radio Scotland: “I don’t think we were brave enough in possession of the ball. We took too long to make our passes and we didn’t get enough pressure on Rangers.

“I felt we went into our shells in the first half and that’s the first time I have had to say that to the group.

“It’s about being brave and taking the ball in tight situations. I felt we fed their support, the way we gave the ball away in the middle of the pitch.

“I described our first-half performance against Motherwell last week as one of our best since I have been here - that was one of our worst.

“It’s not good enough and I won’t accept that type of first half performance.

    On Scott Fox's horrible mistake...

“The mistake is what it is – Scott knows he has to do better there and the other two goals were preventable. He doesn’t need to say anything. Scott’s been fantastic in my time here. He’s a great professional and will bounce back."

  3. 'A really important win' for Caixinha

    FT: Ross County 1-3 Rangers

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha, speaking to BT Sport: "We knew it was going to be tough, It was really important for us to win. We believe, the players believe, and the fans are starting to believe.

“We gave them a bit of momentum and could not handle the ball for a while, so we didn’t control the game.

“It was important for Morelos to score again and Herrera.

“We still have a couple of days until the end of the window, and we know what we want.

“I wasn’t happy with the way we couldn’t control the second half.”

  4. The not so fantastic Mr Fox

    FT: Ross County 1-3 Rangers

Scott Fox may have a sleepless night after his inexplicable blunder gifted Rangers their second goal.

We may never know what the County keeper was thinking as he allowed Alfredo Morelos to take the ball off his toes as he dithered and dithered when he should have been hoofing it clear.

  5. Dons lead the way

That's the weekend action over in the Scottish Premiership and it's Aberdeen who top the pile going into the international break as the only side with a 100% record.

At the other end, Partick Thistle are now alone on zero points.
