    See you tomorrow!

  2. 'My career has gone quick'

    West Brom 0-0 West Ham

    West Bromwich Albion

Gareth Barry, who almost marked his milestone game with a goal, but saw his first-half header go wide, told BBC Sport: "It is lucky I have managed to keep fit throughout the years. It is not until I look back when I hang my boots up that I will realise what a big number it is.

"I still remember that moment [my debut] so well, so much has happened since, it has gone quick.

"I will stop when I stop enjoying it and I will know when I have had enough and can't keep up with the boys."

  3. 'Positives to build on'

    West Brom 0-0 West Ham

    West Ham United

Hammers manager Slaven Bilic: "We played solidly and limited them to one chance. In the second-half we played more dominant football. Two clean sheets in two games is important progress. I am not extremely delighted but there are a lot of positives to build on."

  4. Post update

If ever a game was last on MOTD it was that one...

  5. 'Take a point and move on'

    West Brom 0-0 West Ham

    West Bromwich Albion

Baggies boss Tony Pulis: "We only a couple of clear cut chances, just two opportunities in the match against a good West Ham side. But we got a clean sheet and the players gave it everything, we just need a bit more quality in the final third. We take a point and move on."

  6. Post update

    Watford 0-6 Manchester City

  7. Can we play you every week?

    Watford 0-6 Manchester City

    Manchester City

Manchester City (11) have scored more goals in their last two Premier League games at Vicarage Road than Watford (10) have in their last nine at the ground.

  8. Shot, shot, shot, shot, shot, shot...

    Liverpool 1-1 Burnley

The Reds had 35 attempts on goal – since 2003-04, they’ve only had more in a single Premier League match once (37 vs Everton, April 2016).

  9. Keep it tight

    Huddersfield 1-1 Leicester

Four of Huddersfield’s five Premier League games this season have been goalless at half-time, more than any other side.

  10. 'We did the basics'

    Liverpool 1-1 Burnley

    Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche: "They made seven changes had some fresh faces. I'm not afraid to get the ball forward and I thought that was effective. Our shape was good and Popey was excellent in goal.

"We know it's tough coming to these places and we are willing to do the bits that are nitty gritty in the game. Very few teams will come here and dominate, we knew we would have to do the basics. Now and again you need a bit of luck.

"We are still learning a little bit, me included but I'm very pleased with today."

  11. 'We have to be clinical'

    Newcastle 2-1 Stoke

    Stoke City

    Hughes

Mark Hughes talking to Match of the Day: "We have played better than that in recent weeks and it's disappointing from our point of view. We were loose in our general play and the accuracy of our passing.

"We had to be vigilant, but towards the end of the game we made a mistake on the set-play after working really hard to get back on level terms.

"We went for it at the end, but it wasn't to be.

"Second half we controlled the game for the vast majority, they were just looking to break on us. We didn't quite do our jobs at a corner and Jack (Butland) wasn't able to save it. We'll move on to the next one.

"We are a good side and we can knock it around, but at key moments we have to be clinical."

  12. Three more years?

    West Brom 0-0 West Ham

    West Bromwich Albion

Baggies boss Tony Pulis said he believes Gareth Barry could play for "another two or three years the way he looks after himself.

He told BBC Sport: "He was a player I admired and respected, when we brought him into the club we realised how good he was. I am disappointed he is not just starting with us and is coming to the back end of his career."

  13. The late game

    Tottenham v Swansea (17:30 BST)

Wembley is filling up as Spurs look for their first league win in their temporary accommodation.

Paul Seedall: I seriously think we are the best defending team in the world. (Burnley)

Loser92: They might as well give Manchester City the League now. Nobody is close to them in terms of quality. They look unstoppable.

Phil Clarke: Great team spirit again from the lads 3 off the belt. Joselu should have had a hat trick but hey, a wins a win.

  15. 'It's our fault'

    Liverpool 1-1 Burnley

    Liverpool

    Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: "I'm not happy, I'm angry with the result but pleased with the performance.

"It's our fault. We were dominant, fantastic attitude. We played good, were fluent with seven changes. But only one goal.

"When you have shots on goal it's not about their defending. Their keeper made a few outstanding saves. I'm not happy as when Solanke hit the bar I am sure it was a penalty.

"It's the best we have played against Burnley since I have been in. In the past we didn't feel good in the game. Today I saw fluid movements, passing between the lines, speed, crosses.

"We have to take the point and carry on. Philippe was a really good game. He had a little cramp at the end. We did not plan to take him off but we had to decide differently."

  16. Post update

    Watford 0-6 Manchester City

    Watford

Watford manager Marco Silva: "We have only lost three points. The score is heavy but it is not easy.

"On Monday we will train hard, analyse and prepare. It is our obligation as a team."

  17. Long day...

    Watford 0-6 Manchester City

Andre Gray managed 17 touches in 74 minutes for Watford today. Ilkay Gundogan touched it 28 times and he only came on in the 66th minute.

A tough day to be a striker when your team is being dominated.

    Watford 0-6 Manchester City
  18. 'Two goals offside, and a penalty'

    Watford 0-6 Manchester City

    Watford

Watford boss Marco Silva: "We know it will be a tough day to compete at this level but City are strong enough to create problems for us.

"The first and third goals are offside, it is not a normal game. We had a clear penalty for Chalobah. Everything is difficult for us this afternoon.

"City deserved the three points, we learn as a team. We can't make mistakes. But it's really difficult with these decisions."

  19. 'I would take three points over a goal'

    Newcastle 2-1 Stoke

    Stoke City

Stoke goalscorer Xherdan Shaqiri: "We lost the game and we had enough chances to win. Of course, it is a big disappointment here.

"It was just too much mistakes from the beginning.

"Of course I am happy with my goal, but in the end we lost the game and it is disappointing. Next time I would take three points if I didn't score."

  20. 'Clearly onside'

    Huddersfield 1-1 Leicester

    Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield manager David Wagner speaking to Sky Sports: "I'm disappointed with a point. It was a harsh decision from the linesman because it was a clear second goal we scored.

"It was a great team effort and a good performance. It was high intense football against a top quality side.

"I am massively disappointed we had this wrong decision that was an important one. From my point of view it is clear he is onside."

On goal-scorer Laurent Depoitre: "He played very well. He has a good fighting attitude and had good movement. He has done exactly what we expected and what we wanted to see from him.

"It gives us a lift that we have another striker."
