Fully deserved for Fulham

FT: Fulham 2-1 Hull

There can be no real arguments from Hull. Slavisa Jokanovic's Fulham were well worth the three points and the margin of victory could easily have been greater.

Tigers keeper Allan McGregor made several brilliant stops to keep his side in it, but could do nothing about Fulham's two goals. Fulham are up to 13th, but it's very early in the season and so tight in the second tier.

They are only two points off the play-off spots, having lost just once in the league.

Hull's defeat is their fourth from seven, their second in a row and their fourth in five. Worrying.

It took a little while to get going but has been fairly entertaining so far. Not chance after chance by any means but some good build-up play, lots of nearly things and we now have a goal - courtesy of Fulham's Floyd Ayite.

Fulham 1-0 Hull

How will the Tigers react to that? They played well for much of the first half against Derby last week but found themselves 4-0 down at the break.

It won't be 4-0 tonight at the midway point, but is their confidence brittle.

And remember Fulham don't concede many goals, just four in nearly six-and-a-half league games this season.
