Well, that was very busy wasn't it?!

We're all done with the news conferences for this afternoon.

As ever, the running schedule didn't follow timings, but hey ho, I'm sure you're as used to that as I am.

How about a look at how the Premier League teams are preparing ahead of the weekend?

  13. 'Watford will be demanding but we have to handle the situation' - Guardiola

Manchester City v Watford (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Manchester City

Guardiola on Vincent Kompany: "Today Kompany trained with us, I think for the next days he will be able to play again. We are okay."

On Watford: "It will be a demanding game, especially after just three days and the travelling but we have to handle the situation."

On City's form: "Last season we had a problem scoring. But now we have players that play more in and not wide. They help our strikers."

  14. 'We need him, I need him, the team need him' - Guardiola

Manchester City v Watford (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Manchester City

Pep Guardiola says Manchester City on Yaya Toure: "Yaya we need him, I need him, the team need him, he was important last season and will be this season. We admire what he has done he is an exceptional player, so now he was not in the last game the squad, of course he is ready to help us."

On whether he will be in the squad this weekend: "I would like for everybody to be involved but I think about every game and what is the best team to play. We will see."

Guardiola did confirm that captain Vincent Kompany is back in training after missing last weekend’s win over Liverpool with a calf injury, but is unlikely to return tomorrow.

  15. People talk about Liverpool's defence all the time' - Klopp

Liverpool v Burnley (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Liverpool

Klopp on Liverpool's defence: "Our fault is that with some things we give you the opportunity to talk about it - that is our mistake. It is a lack of concentration. Everyone who ever played football missed a ball in some situation. It is not a quality thing.

"It looks to me like a self-fulfilling prophecy because we talk about it all the time. Everyone had conceded goals so far. We cannot take out the five goals against City but if we could do it we have played a lot of games with decent defensive performances.

"It would be easy to look at this team and say 'It is so exciting how they play...' but I am not sure if it is the world in general or a Liverpool thing but it is always looking for one thing we can be angry about and not happy with."

  16. 'I really like what Sean Dyche is doing there' - Klopp

Liverpool v Burnley (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Liverpool

Klopp on Burnley: "Yes they won against Chelsea, who were one-man down. What I really like is what Sean Dyche is doing there. They have a clean plan. You can see it in each game and it is so difficult to play (against) as all their players show a big desire to defend all the situations and there is not one player in the team who you think 'He gambles a little bit'.

"Their two away games they got four points from Chelsea and Tottenham. That is something I have to consider when I think about the line-up, we need freshness in mind and legs. There will be really small spaces, there is not a lot of easy situations where you can out-play them.

"It is really interesting to play them because they are always on a really high level since I've been in the league. Maybe the best game we played against them was the first game when we lost 2-0: we were really strong in this game, had the ball all the time and they still scored twice.

"But it is not that we think about these games. We've made a big step in all the areas we need for these games. If we are all ready for work we can be really good."

  17. I was really happy with how the crowd welcomed Coutinho - Klopp

Liverpool v Burnley (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Liverpool

    More from Jurgen Klopp...

On Philippe Coutinho: "Coutinho should be ready. I was really happy with how the crowd welcomed him, I don’t think anyone was 100% sure on this. I think as a Liverpool family, we were sensitive to it. For him it was good. So far he has trained outstandingly. The game was not perfect of course, but that's how it is after a long break."

  18. 'We must not be overly confident' - Benitez

Newcastle United v Stoke City (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Newcastle United

Benitez on Stoke: "Stoke have good players. A good team with good balance. Pace, ability, size and can play on the floor with an experienced manager."

On the team's confidence: "We have to be sure we don’t have overconfidence. We have to keep doing what we have done."

  19. 'Shelvey must stay focused' - Benitez

Newcastle United v Stoke City (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Newcastle United

Benitez on Jamaal Lascelles' contract talks: "We are working hard and it won’t be difficult."

On Joselu returning to Stoke: "Hopefully he continues tradition you have of scoring versus other teams. He’s showing what we knew he had but can improve."

On Jonjo Shelvey: "I sat down with Jonjo yesterday to tell him he is a good player. He must stay focused, train and know he can get back in the team."

  20. 'We have to work very hard' - Benitez

Newcastle United v Stoke City (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Newcastle United

Benitez on missing the Swansea game: "There was a lot of work behind the scenes. I watched from the sofa, took notes. I was shouting but it was okay."

On current good form: "When something is wrong, stay calm, and it’s the same way when something is right. We have to work very hard."

On the transfer window: "This is the group and we have to work together and move forward. We want to improve everybody. We have to continue to work and give the players tips to be better.

"You know my idea about the window but at the same time I’m quite positive. This is the group and we have to move forward together.

"I will not worry about what we didn’t do in the window, I focus on improving players. We have enough to compete in the Premier League."
