After a slow start, that was a classic Barcelona performance. Fast, free-flowing attacking football with Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi at their creative best, just a shame the latter did not get the goal his performance deserved.
All over! Barcelona go six clear at the top of the table.
The 90 minutes are up and there's two minutes of time added on.
Will Lionel Messi get on the scoresheet?
Chance for Paulinho to score a goal that is not from a rebound but his first touch from Lionel Messi's pass is very heavy and he effectively passes the ball back to the Deportivo keeper.
Don't bet against Barcelona getting a fifth as they go close again.
Lionel Messi thinks about chasing a through but stops as he realises he is offside. Deportivo players appeal but as they do they fail to spot Luis Suarez charging in but the striker slams his shot into the sidenetting.
Another change for Barcelona as Lucas Digne replaces the hard-working Jordi Alba for the final few minutes.
This Lionel Messi lad is having a shocker! Now he somehow sprays an effort wide when well placed.
Deportivo looked tired and defeated as Barcelona press for a fifth.
When Barcelona play like this, there are few sides that can stop them. Might be worth the visitors conserving energy for more winnable games.
Goal number six for the season for Paulinho!
Mr Right Place at the Right Time pops up again to stab in a rebound after a Jordi Alba shot had hit the post following a quick Barcelona attack.
... and Lionel Messi's penalty is saved by the excellent Ruben.
It's just not been Messi's night in front of goal.
Luis Suarez is fouled inside the box and Barcelona have a penalty.
Suarez to take for the hat-trick? No, Messi is having it...
And now Luis Suarez is through on goal but he hesitates just long enough for Ruben to stretch across and bat the ball away from the striker's feet to deny him the hat-trick.
The ball just won't go in for Lionel Messi! First, he hits the post with a free kick before curling just wide with a shot soon after.
Double change for Deportivo. Emre Colak and Guilherme go off with Federico Valverde and Zakaria Bakkali replacing them.
One hour on the clock and Barcelona have stepped down a gear, perhaps preserving energy for El Clasico this weekend.
Andres Iniesta's work is done for the night. He's been the heartbeat of the Barcelona side and played a key role in two of the goals. He's replaced by Andre Gomes.
It will be a sad day when Iniesta hangs up the boots. An absolutely brilliant footballer.
A better effort by Carles Gil though as he cuts inside and hammers a shot just wide of the post.
A scuffed effort by Adrian Lopez as Deportivo threaten briefly. Thomas Vermaelen tidies up, preventing Lucas Perez from getting to the loose ball.
