    Cardiff boss Neil Warnock

It looks like Cardiff boss Neil Warnock enjoyed that result.

The next action in the Championship comes on Tuesday evening, with two games.

There's what could be a key game at the bottom as 20th-placed Hull host 21st-placed Barnsley, with both clubs looking to move away from the relegation zone.

And Sheffield United have the chance to move into the top six, leapfrogging Middlesbrough and Bristol City, when they travel to out-of-form Reading, who are four points above the bottom three.

Thanks for joining us this afternoon.

FT: Cardiff City 1-0 Bristol City

Here's what Cardiff's victory has done to the Championship table.

They have a buffer inside the automatic promotion places, and retain hopes of chasing down leaders Wolves to win the title.

Bristol City remain two points ahead of the chasing pack in the final play-off place.

The result has gone down well with Cardiff forward Lee Tomlin, who is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest and scored twice in their 5-2 win at QPR yesterday.

Although he did also used to play for Bristol City.... no divided loyalties there then!

Dave Macdonald: When the ball's in the goal, it's not Shearer or Cole... that's..Zohore!!

Paul Hopkins: Well played Bluebirds, tough and hard with the winner.

  6. Zohore the match-winner

FT: Cardiff City 1-0 Bristol City

Here's the key moment from the match, when Kenneth Zohore tapped in Joe Ralls' cross from close range.

The match wasn't a classic by any stretch of the imagination, but Cardiff fans won't care about that.

  7. Big win for Cardiff

FT: Cardiff City 1-0 Bristol City

Cardiff hang on to seal a fourth successive victory.

That is a big win for Neil Warnock's side, who move four points clear of third-placed Aston Villa.

The Bluebirds are now six points behind leaders Wolves.

Bristol City's poor form continues - they have just one win from their last 10 league games and are hanging on to their play-off place.

  9. Post update

    Cardiff City 1-0 Bristol City

Josh Brownhill goes down the right and tries a fancy back-flick to a teammate rather than get the ball into the Cardiff box. It doesn't come off.

    Time is almost up.

  10. CLOSE!

    Cardiff City 1-0 Bristol City

Bobby Reid twists and turns on the edge of the area and eventually Sol Bamba blocks an effort before Cardiff get given a free-kick.

    Not long to go now.

    Cardiff City 1-0 Bristol City

Cardiff announce a crowd of over 21,000 at the Cardiff City Stadium.

I wonder if anyone will ask Robins boss Lee Johnson about the atmosphere in the post-match press conference.

  16. GOAL: Cardiff City 1-0 Bristol City

    Kenneth Zohore

    Kenneth Zohore scores for Cardiff

    Finally a breakthrough!

It comes from a mistake, which allows Joe Ralls to get in behind the back of the Robins defence and fire in a cross.

The ball drops to Kenneth Zohore, no more than five yards out, and he can't miss.

The game needed a goal. and the substitute has delivered it.

  17. Post update

Joe Bryan comes forward with the ball, and a dangerous ball into the box is just about dealt with by Cardiff skipper Sol Bamba at the near post.

Referee Paul Tierney spots a foul from the resulting corner.

  18. Post update

    Cardiff City 0-0 Bristol City

    Manga and Diedhiou

Cardiff defender Bruno Ecuele Manga does well to dispossess Famara Diedhiou after some good hold-up play from the forward before the right-back blasts the ball clear.

Joe Bryan's deep delivery from the corner is straight down the throat of Cardiff keeper Neil Etheridge.
