From me, it's good night. Cheers.

What's next?

FT: Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Next up for Manchester City is a trip to Sunderland in the Women's FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday.

Nick Cushing's side will want to bounce straight back in the North East.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will also be in action in the last eight, at home to third-tier Charlton, the lowest-ranked side remaining in that competition.

Delight for Montemurro

FT: Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Arsenal boss Joe Montemurro - after victory in his first final as Gunners manager - tells the FAWSL Facebook page: "City threw everything at us towards the end. It got a bit hairy but we got there!

"We dominated the first half. We got the goal and we got our rewards.

"The players are starting to believe again now. It's a great platform and we just want to get better and better."

Match-winner Miedema reacts

FT: Arsenal 1-0 Man City

"I'm really happy."

FT: Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Just three games ago, Manchester City were on an incredible 23-match unbeaten run (winning 22 of those games) and were top of WSL 1.

A shock league defeat at Birmingham City brought an end to that run, and a draw with Chelsea and now a surprise loss in the Continental Tyres Cup final have followed.

They'll want to ensure this doesn't turn in to any more than a blip, ahead of some big games coming up for them in all competitions.

ARSENAL WIN THE CONTINENTAL TYRES CUP

FT: Arsenal 1-0 Man City

It's joy for Arsenal as they go wild on the field. Wonderful scenes for them.

Both sides gather in to huddles of contrasting natures.... And now Arsenal arms are in the air. They've done it.

FULL-TIME

Arsenal 1-0 Man City

That's it! Arsenal win the Continental Tyres Cup for a record fifth time!

Arsenal 1-0 Man City

The ball is at the wrong end of the pitch from a Man City point of view, and time is surely up.

They need something. They need a moment of brilliance.

SUBSTITUTION (Arsenal)

Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Kim Little (who has had a fine game for Arsenal) goes off to warm applause, and on comes Katie McCabe.

Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Arsenal are starting to really wind down the clock now.

Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Meanwhile, as the clock continues to tick on and on for City, tonight's attendance at Adams Park has been announced as 2,136. That's above average for a match between WSL 1 sides.

However, for reference, it's less than the 3,697 that watched the 2014 final, on the same ground, also on a weeknight, between these two teams.

Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Man City force back-to-back corners but to no avail. Arsenal are getting ever closer to lifting the first piece of major silverware of the season.

Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Just to remind you, Man City are currently the holders of this cup as well as the Women's FA Cup and were the winners of the last full Women's Super League One season.

City are on top, but still trail as it stands.

Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Claire Emslie sends over a decent, first-time cross from the left wing which finds Nikita Parris in the middle, but her header is straight at the keeper. Decent chance.

Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Former Bristol City winger Claire Emslie will inject some real pace in to this final. She is absolutely rapid, as a mate of mine would say...

Arsenal will need to deal with her threat.

SUBSTITUTION (Man City)

Arsenal 1-0 Man City

There's a second change for Man City now, as Scotland winger Claire Emslie comes on for Izzy Christiansen, whose goal won this final, on this ground, between these two teams, in 2014.

The lively Jane Ross gets involved again, taking a good touch inside the area to set herself up before firing straight at keeper Sari van Veenendaal from a tight angle.

This is better, from the holders.

Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Jane Ross does really well for Man City down the right and sends it a good cross for Jill Scott, but the England midfielder heads it straight at the keeper.

Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Arsenal midfielder Dominique Janssen - who struck the woodwork in the first half - curls a free-kick over the wall, and it's dipping... But it goes about half a yard over the crossbar. Not far away.

The decision was made at around 16:00 GMT following a pitch inspection.
