I'll leave you to chew over Scotland's options at right-back...

We'll be back with those friendlies as Alex McLeish takes the reigns of the national side for a second time.

There will be live radio & text coverage from Hampden plus a TV highlights show in the evening, while we can go one better in Hungary with a live TV broadcast of the game.

Could Tait be the answer for Scotland?

FT: Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Richard Tait is 28 and has spent most of his career in the lower depths of the English leagues.

He turned in a great display for Motherwell today and Morton boss Jim Duffy is an admirer.

He tells BBC Scotland: "I think Scotland struggle at right-back. The thing that frustrates me is we get players like that but they seem to always have to go to another club before people start to talk about them in terms of international performances.

"He's playing week in, week out and at a consistent level against the best players we have and he's more than holding his own. He's been outstanding for Motherwell this season. In the games coming up, why not get someone like Richard Tait in? I don't see many ahead of him.

"He's quick, his fitness levels are tremendous, his attitude is great, he's got a great delivery, and he can defend."

Double-header for Scotland

It's a revenge mission for the 1990 World Cup defeat when Costa Rica visit Hampden on Friday, with Scotland visiting Budapest four days later.

Celtic defender Kieran Tierney will miss those games with the calf problem that kept him out today.

Should there be any late call-ups to Alex McLeish's squad?

Jim Duffy has a suggestion...

What next?

Champions Celtic are next in action at home to Ross County on Saturday, 31 March. Motherwell welcome Rangers to Fir Park on the same day.

We have an international break to get through first, with Scotland in friendly action against Costa Rica and Hungary.

'Cedric is a big softie'

FT: Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

More from Motherwell gaffer Stephen Robinson:

"Cedric is 20 foot tall and 20 foot wide and people mistake that appearance with a really aggressive player. He's not. He's a big softie.

"He will got to the next level when he gets more aggressive.

"He's getting labelled with something he isn't and we'll have to pick the boy back up again."

'I'm 100% certain it's not a red card'

FT: Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson is very proud of his players' effort and is sure his side were hard done by after the first-half dismissal of Cedric Kipre.

"I'm 100% certain it's not a red card," he tells BBC Sportsound. "Cedric has brushed his leg against him, certainly not the stamp that was indicated.

"It could have been two yellow cards for the boys and nobody would have blinked an eye.

"It spoiled the game for the supporters again. We've got a big crowd in, the game is very competitive and then we have to sit back and play for a point.

"The same referee has sent off five of our players now and that's hard to take."

'It doesn't look so much'

FT: Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

The Celtic boss was asked about the sending off and doesn't appear to be wholly convinced...

"It looks like Broonie is pushing the boy to get up and get on with the play," said Brendan Rodgers. "I've seen it on the camera and it doesn't look so much. He has maybe gesticulated with his foot to kick out but obviously Craig (Thomson) is looking straight at it and maybe sees intent of the player to lash out."

Celtic in a great position - Rodgers

FT: Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, talking to BBC Sportsound:

"You have to respect that the game changes when they go to 10 men.

"I was pleased with the approach but we needed to be more incisive in the final third.

"It was a difficult day with the wind and the pitch but we got a point and that puts us 10 clear with eight games to. We're in a great position when we come back from the international break."

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Scott McDonald

Former Celtic striker on BBC Sportsound

"Brendan Rodgers will be frustrated but I don't think he will be too concerned after scoring three at Rangers last week."

Motherwell keep top six chances alive

FT: Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Martin Dowden

BBC Sport Scotland

It’s a fabulous point for Stephen Robinson’s men after going down to 10 men before half time.

Prior to that, they had created enough to concern Celtic.

Brendan Rodgers' side did create opportunities to win it but lacked a decisive final ball or a real moment of quality despite having a numerical advantage.

Motherwell still have hopes of a top six finish. The result means Kilmarnock will definitely finish in the top half.

Kipre kicks out

FT: Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Here's the moment that set the tone for the second half... Motherwell defender Cedric Kipre was sent off five minutes before the interval after responding to a shove from Scott Brown. From then on, it was all about the depleted home side holding on. And hold on they did with a valiant defensive effort.

A point against Celtic? Motherwell would probably have welcomed that before kick off but they did create all of the game's best chances before the sending off.

FULL-TIME Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

The 10-men hold on for their second home draw with Celtic this season.

There will be a lot of tired legs in the Motherwell dressing room after some heroic defending in the second half.

GREAT SAVE!

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Into stoppage time now and Moussa Dembele thumps a header into the turf to send the ball spinning towards the goal. Motherwell fans look through their fingers and are delighted to see Trevor Carson stretch out a hand to bat it away.

Sinclair 'took wrong option' to shoot

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Scott McDonald

Former Celtic striker on BBC Sportsound

I don't think it's a penalty for Motherwell, Main tried to roll the defender and he just stayed strong. Celtic with a great counter-attack but I think Sinclair made the wrong choice to shoot - Roberts was screaming for a square pass.

PENALTY APPEAL

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

The home fans are howling for a penalty as Curtis Main flops to the ground after backing into Jack Hendry, who does have a fistful of the striker's shirt.

Celtic break at speed and Scott Sinclair is suddenly haring into the penalty box but Richard Tait somehow summons the energy to get across and make a terrific sliding block.

CLOSE!

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong takes aim for the left corner as he cuts on to his right foot but his effort from the edge of the penalty area curls just wide.

Home side hanging on

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Martin Dowden

BBC Sport Scotland

Stephen Robinson must be thrilled at how his side are coping with a man less.

They’ve absorbed all sorts of pressure and managed to protect Trevor Carson from dealing with too much on target.

They resemble a boxer who’s taken some puinishment but seems immovable.

Celtic have so many creative talents on the pitch right now but the home side are keeping them at bay.

'Celtic labouring with little success'

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Morton manager Jim Duffy on BBC Radio Scotland: "Celtic's final pass, the bit of link-up play, one-twos around the box - they've only had one incisive pass in the second half into Dembele's feet.

"They really haven't been anywhere near their best in that final third. Their movement, Rogic has been too deep, he has got to be a lot closer to Dembele to link the play up. He's too detached."

HITS THE WOODWORK

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Patrick Roberts has the visiting fans on their feet as he leaves a trail of defenders in his wake before thundering a shot in from 20 yards. Trevor Carson is flapping at fresh air as the ball clips the top of the crossbar.

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Time is ticking by and Celtic are not finding many gaps in the Motherwell rearguard. Could the 10 men hold on?

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Another glimpse of goal for the home side. Well skipper Carl McHugh scored a screamer here against Hearts in the Scottish Cup but this rising shot from the edge of the box just keeps on rising and rising.

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

A chance for Motherwell. Allan Campbell shows good determination to shrug off a couple of challenges but his shot from 20 yards is wild.

One-way traffic

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Martin Dowden

BBC Sport Scotland

The action is all heading towards Motherwell’s goal and a Celtic goal seems inevitable.

The hosts are defending doggedly but, with some time to go, not too many would bet against them being breached.

Celtic are pulling them alll over the place right now and Motherwell’s energy levels must be draining.

They’ve done so well so far. Can they hold out?

Roberts returns for Celtic

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Another change for Celtic and it's a first appearance since late November for Patrick Roberts as the fit-again winger takes over from James Forrest.

Motherwell bring on left-back Stephen Hendrie in place of winger Elliott Frear.

CLOSE!

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Tom Rogic whips in a cross from the right and Moussa Dembele stoops to connect with a header only to watch it whizz a few inches over the top.

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Side-to-side, side-to-side. Celtic work the ball one way, then another, tiring out the 10 men of Motherwell, who are sitting deeper and deeper.

The same, but different for Celtic?

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Morton manager JIm Duffy on BBC Radio Scotland: "Brendan Rodgers is going to put Sinclair out on the left in his favoured position, and Armstrong will go into the middle. So the shape hasn't changed, but the dynamics have, because Sinclair and Armstrong will get forward and go and support, whereas Ntcham is just sitting with Brown. They don't really need the two holding players."

Double change for Celtic

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers shuffles his pack in a bid to break down the stubborn hosts.

Scott Sinclair and Stuart Armstrong are the men coming on in place of Olivier Ntcham and Odsonne Edouard.

Fleet-footed Rogic threatening again

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Scott McDonald

Former Celtic striker on BBC Sportsound

We've seen Rogic with the great, quick feet again to get away from his marker. Carson makes a great two-handed save.

GREAT SAVE!

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Tom Rogic nicks the ball off the toes of Motherwell skipper Carl McHugh and glides forward before unleashing a shot that Trevor Carson blocks. The angle was tight and a pass might have been a better option.

From the corner, Rogic is given another chance to have a crack from 18 yards and this time Carson needs to make an impressive diving save.

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Patient probing from Celtic. Jack Hendry and Tom Rogic have shots blocked as Motherwell throw bodies in the way.

Now the visiting fans are furious as the officials miss an obvious deflection for a corner.

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Chris Cadden is tucked in at right-back now, with Richard Tait taking over from the departed Cedric Kipre in central defence. Curtis Main is all alone up top for the home side in a 4-4-1 formation.

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

The depleted home side are immediately pinned back, desperately defending their own penalty box. Is that going to be the pattern for the rest of the game?

KICK-OFF

Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson has a few words for Celtic captain Scott Brown as the teams come back out.

Now the action is back up and running.

Tactical tinkering to come?

HT: Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

How will the hosts rearrange things now they are down a man?

Celtic might want to change their shape too since the visitors have not created much at all. Odsonne Edouard looks a bit lost wide on the left and has barely been involved.

Inexperience shows...

HT: Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Martin Dowden

BBC Sport Scotland

Cedric Kipre’s ordering off was all about giving the referee a decision to make.

Scott Brown clearly gave him a shove as they both tried to get up from a challenge but his kick out was naive.

Stephen Robinson will feel aggrieved again against Celtic and it came at a time where his side looked increasingly in control of the flow of the match.

They have to put it behind them for the second half.

Kipre has been here before...

HT: Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

It's a second red card of the season for Cedric Kipre. Both have come against Celtic and both have been brandished by referee Craig Thomson.

The first one came in the League Cup final when the defender conceded a penalty for slight tug at Scott Sinclair.

'Kipre just shouldn't get involved'

HT: Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Scott McDonald

Former Celtic striker on BBC Sportsound

You can't give the referee the option. It's silly from Kipre. He's had a great first half, he just shouldn't get involved. He should get up, get on with it, and mark his card for the next one when the challenge is there.

HALF-TIME Motherwell 0-0 Celtic

Boos ring out from the angry home fans as referee Craig Thomson brings a lively first half to an end.

Motherwell have created the better openings but now the hosts are down to 10 men.
