It doesn't look like they have listened to you Frank.

I would keep the core of the team the same. The momentum is huge. There might be two or three changes and I think that helps players who haven’t had many minutes.

But keep the core because momentum is such a powerful thing, and when you’re playing well it’d nice to make a statement against Belgium.

  3. England expects...

    England v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    Eight changes for England?

We will have confirmation soon enough.

  4. If Belgium win the group

    England v Belgium (19:00 BST)

Should Belgium end the night top of the pile, England's knockout stage looks a touch easier.

    On paper! On paper!

Either way they'll probably get knocked out on Monday or Tuesday anyway but...

If England come second they will face Colombia, Senegal or Japan in the last 16, Sweden or Switzerland in the quarter finals and one of Spain, Russia, Croatia or Denmark in the semi-final
  5. If England WIN the group...

    England v Belgium (19:00 BST)

There are no easy games at this level, etc, but here's England's route through the knockout stages if they top Group G at the end of the night.

If they win the group they would play Japan.

If England win their group they will play Colombia/Senegal/Japan in the last 16, Brazil or Mexico in the last eight and one of Uruguay, Portugal, France or Argentina in the semis
  6. Team news

    England v Belgium (19:00 BST)

The latest I'm hearing is that England will make nine changes and Belgium 10 - It's a reserve game!

  7. Should England win the group?

Everyone I've sopken to in the last few days has a different view - so let's be having you.

Do you want England to win tonight and build up a head of steam hitting the last 16?

Or would it be preferable to finish second and have an 'easier' route?

    Text us or tweet us...

  8. Finish first or second?

    England v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    Frank Lampard

    Former England & Chelsea midfielder

I don’t think it matters. When you look at the other group there’s no standout team that you’re looking to stay away from. Any of the possibilities in the last 16, we are capable of beating any one of them.

  9. Who next?

    England v Belgium (19:00 BST)

We now know after a dramatic afternoon that whoever wins England's group will face Japan in the last 16, with the runners-up playing Colombia.

    Has that changed anyone's mind?

  10. Post update

    England v Belgium (19:00 BST)

Yep, both sides have differing views in the build-up, fans are torn - do Belgium or England want to win this group?!

  11. A free hit

    England v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    A dead rubber.

    A shot to nothing.

    Gareth Southgate

The pressure is off in Kaliningrad this evening as England face Belgium with both sides already certain to progress.

Who will win Group G? Does anyone WANT to win Group G?

Who will play? Who will be rested?

Will it all come down to the drawing of lots?

There's lots to see and do. So come join the fun...
