  3. 'We showed two faces'

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

    Leicester City

More from Leicester manager Claude Puel: "We started well from the kick-off with pressure on the opponent and good quality. But I don't know why, we went down. We played deep and gave the ball to West Ham and it was difficult to finish the first half.

"I wanted to come back into the second half with more desire and we had the answer to comeback but it was later without the possibility to score a second goal.

"I was happy with the second half because it was a good mentality and there was quality on the pitch. We showed two faces in our game and of course, we need to resolve this."

On making changes: "We have a good balance and competition for the team. We have three games this week. The players coming in deserve time without changing too much. It was a good opportunity for them to show their quality. We have a good squad so it's important to change it without changing our quality."

On leaving out Jamie Vardy: "It is not a problem. I don't know why it is a problem. I wanted him to come on in the second half to win the game. I have to manage his physical being. It is difficult to play him when he is 100%."

  4. Post update

This is how the table looks following that result.

  5. 'Happy with performance not result'

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

    West Ham United

West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini speaking to Match of the Day: "I am happy with the performance and the way the team played but not with the result.

"We were very unlucky with the goal they scored because we played around 55 minutes with a player less.

"Maybe Leicester had other options which they missed but that goal was very unlucky in the last few minutes of the game.

"Until the final whistle you never know what will be the score. After they scored the goal we had chances too.

"I am very proud with how the team is playing. We drew against Leicester away with one player less which can be seen as a good result but the mentality of the players want more."

On Mark Noble's red card: "I haven't seen it. But I respect the referee. I haven't seen it so I don't give my opinion."

  6. 'My first thought is for Amartey'

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

    Leicester City

Leicester manager Claude Puel: "It was a good second half with a lot of chances. But my first thought at the end is for my player Daniel [Amartey].

He played well and gave his best so it is difficult to see this injury at the end. I thought more about that at the end than the game.

"I hope it is not as a serious as we think. He will have to have an examination then we will see, of course.

"I would like to wish Glenn Hoddle all the best and I hope he can have a speedy recovery. It is bad news, of course."

  7. 'It is not a nice feeling'

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

    Leicester City

Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel speaking to Match of the Day: "We are frustrated and disappointed. They went down to 10 men and we didn't take advantage of that.

"We made too many technical errors and had so many off-sides. Their keeper played well again but it is frustrating.

"It is a sloppy goal from our point of view but then we got the bit of luck that we needed. You just have to keep believing.

"Over the course of the game we had the ball more and created chances but we didn't quite have the edge again.

"We have lost three games in a row now so it's not good enough. It's a strange feeling coming into the dressing room. We got a late goal but then we see our player down in pain and in the doctors room so at the moment it is not a nice feeling."

  8. Breaking'Hoddle responding well'

Jake Humphrey on BT Sport: "Earlier today Glenn Hoddle collapsed in the studio and received immediate medical attention. His condition is serious and Glenn is receiving specialist medical treatment at a hospital in London and is responding well.

"His family thank everyone for their well wishes."

  9. 'We needed the early goal'

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

    Leicester City

Leicester midfielder Marc Albrighton: "It's difficult to do much more than we did. We got that slice of luck that we were more than warranted to.

"We need to work on getting that second ball. They were looking for it and were first to it. We need to be more switched on and not concede those kinds of goals.

"The manager told us not to give them anything to hang on to. We tried to get the goal early but we couldn't. I think if we had we could have gone on to win the game comfortably but we kept plugging away."

Leicester goalscorer Wilfred Ndidi: "It was really difficult in the first half but the second half was better. We just had to keep going.

"I didn't know if it [the goal] was going to come but it did eventually. It was obviously a studs up tackle [from Mark Noble]. I think it was the right decision."

  10. 'Gutting to concede so late'

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

    West Ham United

West Ham Man of the Match Declan Rice: "It was gutting to concede so late. We will take the point because it is so hard to come to Leicester.

"We said at half time we needed to go out there and fight for everything. I haven't seen the sending off yet but anywhere high is a sending off.

"If we would have come away with three points we would have been delighted but we can build up on this."

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

    Mark Schwarzer

Ex-Chelsea keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

In the end, on the basis of chances, you have to say it's a fair result.

    West Ham defended valiantly though.

  13. Post update

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

It looked like Daniel Amartey broke his ankle or the bottom part of his leg. It was certainly painful - we send him our best wishes.

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

It's all over at the King Power. Claude Puel's team were up against 10 men for most of the game but can only come away with a point.

West Ham defended well but they will be hugely disappointed to concede right at the end.

  15. Post update

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

Ben Chilwell tries to find Shinji Okazaki at the back post but he's caught offside, AGAIN.

Claude Puel reacts angrily on the touchline, slamming his arms down against his sides and turning away in frustration.

  16. Amartey goes off on a stretcher

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

Daniel Amartey is stretchered off and receives applause from the home crowd. Hopefully that's not too serious but it doesn't look good.

  17. Serious injury

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

Daniel Amartey is in big trouble here. He looks to have caught his studs in the turf as he turned and twisted his leg badly.

He's in agony and is receiving oxygen on the pitch. Plenty of concern on the faces of his teammates as he is stretchered off.

  18. CLOSE!

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

Angelo Ogbonna then slams a shot high over the bar from an unmarked position just a few yards out!

  19. Post update

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

    Mark Schwarzer

Ex-Chelsea keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

That's so cruel on West Ham, to concede with a deflected shot.

    It's a massive deflection - really unfortunate.

  20. GOAL - Leicester 1-1 West Ham

    Wilfred Ndidi

    There it is!!!!

Wilfred Ndidi fires a long-range shot and it takes a wild deflection off the West Ham goalscorer Fabian Balbuena and slams into the back of the net.
