  5. CLOSE!

Mohamed Elyounoussi somehow manages to thread it through to fellow substitute Michael Obafemi inside the box but his close-range effort is saved at the near post by Sergio Rico, who then leaps high to gather the rebound.

    Fulham 3-2 Southampton

Five minutes are indicated - still time for Southampton to salvage something.

  7. Nervy moment

    Fulham 3-2 Southampton

Mohamed Elyounoussi fails to direct Nathan Redmond's cut-back goalwards, while Maxime Le Marchand gives the home fans a nervy moment as he heads back to Sergio Rico.

  8. Obafemi over

    Fulham 3-2 Southampton

Neat turn by Southampton substitute Michael Obafemi on the edge of the box but he sends his volley over the bar.

The 18-year-old snatched at that one - should have let it drop a bit more.

    Fulham 3-2 Southampton

Final change for Fulham and it's Aleksandar Mitrovic, who looks set to be the match-winner, that makes way for Floyd Ayite.

  10. Saints frustrated

    Fulham 3-2 Southampton

New Republic of Ireland international Michael Obafemi comes on for Southampton's goalscorer Stuart Armstrong, yet at the moment his double is going to count for nowt.

  12. Exciting finish beckons

    Fulham 3-2 Southampton

Southampton pressure starting to build, but Fulham still look dangerous on the break.

Should be an exciting finish here. Time to see what Mark Hughes' Saints are made of.

    Andre Schurrle Aboubakar Kamara

Southampton defender Wesley Hoedt gives away a free-kick before giving the referee some backchat.

And it's the dissent that earns him a booking.

  15. Saints denied

    Fulham 3-2 Southampton

Another well-worked move by Southampton and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg shifts into it on his left foot, but his shot is too close to Sergio Rico, who parries it to safety.

Been a great game so far this... and there could be more goals to come!

    Fulham 3-2 Southampton

Fulham bring off Jean Michael Seri for Stefan Johansen, while Southampton striker Charlie Austin is replaced by Mohamed Elyounoussi.

Jean Michael Seri and Claudio Ranieri

    Fulham 3-2 Southampton

Although the referee plays on after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's late challenge on Tom Cairney, he then books the Danish midfielder when the ball goes out of play.

  18. GOAL - Aleksandar Mitrovic

    Fulham 3-2 Southampton

Fulham back in front - through an acrobatic volley by Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Ryan Sessegnon flicks on Cyrus Christie's right-wing cross and Mitrovic shows he's not just a target-man by adjusting his feet to steer the ball back across goal and inside the post for his seventh league goal of the season.

Although he hadn't scored for six Premier League games before today, the Serbian striker did score twice in the international break and the Cottagers' top scorer is now firmly back in form.

    Aleksandar Mitrovic
  19. Saints show fighting spirit

    Fulham 2-2 Southampton

    Phil McNulty

BBC Sport chief football writer at Craven Cottage

This has been a really lively start to the second half with Fulham almost extending their lead at one end before Stuart Armstrong drew Southampton level with that cracker.

New Fulham manager Claudio Ranieri will want to work on defending when he gets his side back at their Motspur Park training base next week. Great finish - but sloppy stuff in the build up.

  20. Chambers over

    Fulham 2-2 Southampton

Anything you can do... I can't do quite as well.

Perhaps inspired by Stuart Armstrong, Fulham defender Calum Chambers tries his luck from outside the box, only to fire it well over.
