  1. Eight or nine?

    Scotland 2-0 Albania

Steven Naismith has either eight or nine goals for Scotland, depending on whether he is given the opener or not.

With six minutes of normal time remaining, it looks like the Hearts man is sending Scotland to the top of their Nations League group.

  3. YELLOW CARD - Prenga (Albania)

    Scotland 2-0 Albania

  7. Griffiths on for Russell

    Scotland 2-0 Albania

By the way, Leigh Griffiths came on for Johnny Russell a few minutes ago.

Alex McLeish's decision to start Steven Naismith ahead of the Celtic striker has certainly proved a wise on in hindsight.

  8. Albanians on back foot

    Scotland 2-0 Albania

    Gary Caldwell

    Former Scotland defender on Sportsound

Quote Message: The Albanians have really struggled to cope with the intensity from minute one
  9. 'Scots should go for more'

    Scotland 2-0 Albania

    Richard Winton

    BBC Sport at Hampden Park

Well, there’s no doubt about that one. Steven Naismith nods into an empty net to double the advantage. Given head-to-head might come into play in this group, it might be wise to not settle for two goals.

  10. Post update

    Scotland 2-0 Albania

Scotland seem certain to increase their lead as Johnny Russell breaks into the penalty box.

When Steven Naismith is beaten to the cut-back, the deflection is picked up by Stephen O'Donnell, who sets up Callum McGregor.

But the midfielder's shot is blocked in front of goal.

  11. GOAL Scotland 2-0 Albania

    Steven Naismith

There's no question that it's Steven Naismith's goal this time.

Goalkeeper Thomas Stakosha is all at sea as he comes out to meet a Callum McGregor corner and Naismith loops a header into the empty net from 16 yards.

  12. Manaj for Ndoj

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

Emanuele Ndoj has had a busy couple of minutes.

A booking, setting up a chance and now the midfielder is replaced with Rei Manaj.

  13. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

Emanuele Ndoj makes up for his booking by finding Bekim Balaj with a clever cross, but the striker fires over the crossbar from 12 yards.

    Great chance for the visitors.

  14. YELLOW CARD (Ndoj, Albania)

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

Emanuele Ndoj is the first Albanian to go into the referee's book for a challenge on John McGinn.

  15. Own goal?

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

There seems to be a bit of debate about whether the goal is an own goal.

Steven Naismith's header definitely came off Berat Xhimshiti but seemed to be heading for goal before it did.

However, the Scottish FA and Uefa are giving it to the Albania defender.

The Scots have come back to life.

  17. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

Scotland have weathered that storm iand are taking the sting out of the game - if not the pouring rain.

  18. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

Without Kevin McDonald protecting the back four, Albania, who have changed their own shape, are continuing to threaten.

Sabien Lilaj this time tries his luck and goalkeeeper Allan McGregor has to gather the midfielder's dipping drive at the second attempt.

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

Scotland are living dangerously as Albania come close again to an equaliser.

Taulant Xhaka finds Bekim Balaj unmarked inside the penalty box and for the second time in a couple of minutes the striker misses a good chance as his shot bounces off the splayed legs of goalkeeper Allan McGregor and wide for a corner.

  20. Thoroughly deserved

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

    Willie Miller

Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: If it had been two or three {goals} then you could've said that was thoroughly deserved. That was required - the goal has been scored and now you can expect Scotland to go on and take control of this game.
