  3. Day one and already crucial

    Scotland v Albania (19:45)

Scotland's recent form has been as miserable as today's Glasgow weather, but former Scotland winger Pat Nevin echoed the view of head coach Alex McLeish when he said that all will be forgotten - and forgiven - if they beat Albania tonight.

It is the first competitive fixture since the former Rangers and Aston Villa manager began his second spell as national head coach.

But it is already a crucial one, despite it being Scotland's first game in Group 1 of the Nations League's League C.

With only three teams in the section, it is a short sprint to the finishing line and qualification to the play-off round with little room for manoeuvre.

Stay with us for full live coverage of the build-up and commentary from the match at Hampden Park.
