It may have taken them a while, but Warrenpoint Town finally got their season up and running today - and boy did they do so in dramatic fashion.
One-nil down at home to Cliftonville deep into stoppage time, Anto Reilly levelled and Alan O'Sullivan then scored the winner from the kick-off.
The win brought Stephen McDonnell's men their first Irish Premiership points of the season and lifts them off the bottom of the table.
They leapfrog Dungannon Swifts, who lost 3-0 to Linfield as the Blues extended their lead at the top to four points thanks to a Joel Cooper brace.
New manager Rodney McAree looked on from the stands as Coleraine began Premiership life without Oran Kearney with a scoreless draw away to Ards.
The Bannsiders drop to third after a sublime Stephen Murray hat-trick inspired Glenavon to a 4-1 victory away to Institute. It moved the Lurgan Blues up to second and condemned Stute to their first defeat at the Brandywell since their promotion.
Champions Crusaders, meanwhile, secured a much-needed home victory over Newry City, with Paul Heatley's first league goal of the season lifting the Crues up to sixth place.
So another busy day in the Irish Premiership draws to a close - we'll do it all over again next weekend.
